El síndrome de burnout y los recortes sanitarios en los profesionales enfermeros del Hospital del Mar de Barcelona

El siguiente trabajo es un proyecto de un estudio cuantitativo observacional transversal sobreel personal enfermero del Hospital del Mar de Barcelona, con el objetivo de determinar de quéforman afectan la crisis económica y los recortes sanitarios en la aparición del síndrome delburnout y calidad de vida en los enfermeros/as. Este estudio puede servir de ayuda en unfuturo al diseño de una propuesta de intervención preventiva contextualizada a la situaciónlaboral que están viviendo los profesionales sanitarios de dicho hospital.Hipótesis: La crisis económica y los posteriores recortes sanitarios que han afectado a recursosmateriales, de personal y salariales, aumentan el síndrome de burnout en los profesionalesenfermeros.Metodología: Se utilizará un cuestionario como forma de recogida de datos, que constará dedos partes, la primera el MBI – HSS (Maslach Burnout Inventory)2, para poder identificar lossujetos con burnout, analizando tres dimensiones principales (cansancio emocional,despersonalización y realización personal). La segunda parte, es un cuestionario deelaboración propia, e incluirá variables de tipo sociodemográfico, además se realizaranpreguntas relacionadas con la crisis económica y los recortes sanitarios con tal decontextualizarlo al momento actual. Como medidas descriptivas se utilizarán la media, lamoda, desviación estándar y porcentaje de acuerdo al tipo de variable, estableciéndose laasociación entre variables mediante Spearman y Pearson. Para el análisis estadístico seutilizará el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 19 y triangulación con un grupo de profesionalesimplicados en el análisis de los resultados con tal de evaluar los riesgos psicosociales.

Uniformes quemados : El Síndrome del Burnout en el cuerpo de policía de Mossos d’Esquadra

El objeto de estudio de la presente investigación es el Síndrome del Burnout. Este fenómeno representa un sentimiento de estrés laboral que se cronifica con el tiempo y que desemboca en una de las tres dimensiones propias del burnout o, en el peor de los casos, en un cúmulo de éstas: el agotamiento emocional, la despersonalización (o cinismo) y la realización personal. Una de las profesiones que ha sido analizada por diversos investigadores, sobre todo en el contexto anglosajón, por el riesgo que tiene de sufrir burnout y por las graves consecuencias que se derivan de éste, es la policía. En el presente trabajo se analiza este fenómeno en el contexto catalán, dentro del cuerpo de Mossos d'Esquadra y, en concreto, en tres de sus unidades de trabajo, que se hallan enormemente diferenciadas entre sí. A partir de dicha investigación se podrá ver la prevalencia del fenómeno en este contexto, los factores concretos que afectan a la aparición del mismo y las consecuencias más visibles que genera; además de las correlaciones resultantes del análisis de las variables estudiadas. Todo ello servirá de cara a una futura prevención del problema para poder mejorar el servicio público que es la policía.

Issue review : school aid funding for fiscal year 2010 and fiscal year 2011.

State school aid accounts for approximately 41.3 percent of the total general fund appropriations for fiscal year 2010. The current law estimate for fiscal year 2011 state school aid totals 2.689 billion dollars, an increase of 542.7 million dollars compared to the net fiscal year 2010 amount.This issue review provides an analysis of school aid funding for fiscal year 2010 and fiscal year 2011 and provides some alternatives that the General Assembly may wish to consider for fiscal year 2011.

Issue review : school formula funding -- supplementary weightings.

Supplementary weightings for school districts are estimated to generate approximately 63.9 million dollars in funding in fiscal year 2011. This issue review provides an overview of all supplementary weightings currently available to school districts and examines the total funding amounts from fiscal year 2003 through fiscal year 2011.

Issue review : school district cash reserve levy.

During the recent economic crisis, school district budgets have been impacted by state school aid funding shortfalls and state aid reductions due to across-the-board general fund reductions in fiscal year 2009 and fiscal year 2010. Additionally, in fiscal year 2011, the state school aid appropriation was capped and was 156.1 million dollars short of fully funding the state portion of the school aid formula. This issue review examines the impact that the reductions in state aid have had on school district cash reserve levies.

Oral English in different school settings

Hi ha molts tipus d’escoles diferents, i fins i tot, podem constatar que cada escola és diferent de les altres. Per aquesta raó, quan parlem sobre l’aprenentatge de l’anglès, no podem generalitzar una manera de fer-ho, perquè cada una d’elles tracta aquesta llengua de manera diferent. A més, pel que fa a l’aprenentatge d’una llengua, hi ha diferents habilitats involucrades, i entre totes aquestes, he centrat aquest projecte en l’habilitat oral. Aquesta recerca esta basada en l’observació de tres exemples de tipus d’escoles, i per ser més precisos, té l’objectiu d’aprofundir com tracten l’Anglès. D’aquesta manera, el principal objectiu d’aquest projecte és comparar l’habilitat oral dels alumnes d’aquestes escoles, tot considerant les seves diferències. Així doncs, amb el desenvolupament d’aquesta recerca, vaig voler descobrir si hi havien alguns alumnes amb millors habilitats orals que d’altres, i trobar-ne la possible raó.

Issue review : salary growth of Iowa teachers and school administrators.

In recent years in both Iowa and nationally, there has been a strong focus on increasing salary levels for teachers. Iowa initiated the Student Achievement and Teacher Quality Program in fiscal year 2002 to improve the quality of K-12 teachers in Iowa schools. The program's funding to improve teacher salaries continues and is now part of the school-aid formula. During the same time period, there has been a growing focus on recruiting and improving the quality of school district superintendents and other school administrators. This issue review looks at the growth of salaries over the past ten years for Iowa's full-time teachers, superintendents and other administrators.

Candidat à l'échec scolaire incompris et ignoré : l'enfant de migrants = Misunderstood and ignored candidate to the school failure: The child of migrants

Immigration, intégration, précarité, échec scolaire, ignorance du français, délinquance sont des thèmes qui animent régulièrement les débats publics, médiatiques et politiques. Bien que les migrations ont toujours fait partie de l'histoire humaine, elles sont souvent décrites comme un trouble aux identités nationales, elles-mêmes mises à mal par la mondialisation. Cependant, les mécanismes sous-tendant les difficultés rencontrées par certains enfants de migrants demeurent bien moins débattus et considérés que leurs conséquences bruyantes et visibles. Après une réflexion sur l'impact de la migration elle-même sur le sujet et un bref aperçu de l'ethnopsychiatrie, nous allons décrire les difficultés que peut rencontrer l'enfant de migrants, leurs origines et leurs conséquences. Nous nous intéresserons ensuite à la manière dont notre société, nos institutions en tiennent compte ou pas. Nous terminerons notre propos par la mise en relief des besoins thérapeutiques et éducatifs spéciaux de ces enfants et la manière dont ceux-ci sont comblés (ou non). Immigration, social integration, precariousness, language barrier, delinquency are constantly stimulating public, political and media debate. Migrations always were part of the human history but they are often described like a disorder of the national identities, themselves put at evil by globalization. However, the origin of the difficulties that certain children of migrants encounter is often overlooked. Only their disturbing implications are frequently studied. After a brief comment on the impact of the migration and the ethnopsychiatry, we will outline the difficulties sometimes faced by the children of migrants, their origins and consequences. Then we will describe how the society and the institutions take them in account (or not). We finally will delineate the specific needs of those children and how they are meeting (or not).
