Relato de experiência sobre o processo educativo para a promoção da saúde de adolescentes

Este artigo trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre um trabalho desenvolvido com um um grupo de adolescentes, moradores em uma comunidade de baixa renda. O objetivo do trabalho foi a educação para a saúde com contextualização socioeconômica e cultural. Participaram do grupo, 34 adolescentes de ambos os sexos, com idades entre 12 e 18 anos. Foram realizadas nove sessões grupais de educação para a saúde, no período entre setembro e dezembro de 1997. Foram levantadas as principais dúvidas que os adolescentes tinham sobre saúde, que foram esclarecidas no decorrer das sessões de educação para a saúde, com utilização de estratégia participativa, associados a vários recursos didáticos. Os termos técnicos foram decodificados para a linguagem popular. Com base nos temas trabalhados nas sessões, foi elaborado um caderno educativo e a compreensão sobre o conteúdo foi validado com os adolescentes. A experiência permitiu conhecer as peculiaridades do grupo e planejar orientações compreensíveis e significativas aos adolescentes.

O processo de socialização dos enfermeiros em um Centro de Tratamento Intensivo

O objetivo deste trabalho foi compreender o processo de socialização dos enfermeiros integrantes da subcultura de um Centro de Tratamento Intensivo (CTI). Acreditando que o CTI é uma subcultura do hospital e que os enfermeiros intensivistas compartilham de símbolos e significados que foram desenvolvidos através das interações sociais no contexto da Terapia Intensiva, fui buscar no interacionismo simbólico e na descrição etnográfica a fundamentação teórico - metodológica para o presente estudo. Para compreender o processo de interiorização dos universos simbólicos no CTI busquei descrever os sistemas temáticos de significados subjacentes às atividades dos enfermeiros intensivistas, através da observação participante, da entrevista etnográfica e da análise documental. Os resultados mostraram que o processo de socialização é permeado de sentimentos de insegurança, ansiedade, angústia, de incompetência e de medo, As causas destes sentimentos têm um forte componente na não vivência anterior e na lacuna da formação profissional. Este processo se dá formal e informalmente, mas é sempre referido como árduo, penoso; muitas vezes solitário; algumas vezes compartilhado.

O processo de cuidar da pessoa que sofreu queimaduras: significado cultural atribuído por familiares

Os objetivos deste estudo etnográfico foram identificar o significado cultural atribuído por familiares à participação no processo de cuidar da pessoa ultima de queimadura; identificar as estratégias de cuidado que os familiares focalizam frente à participação no cuidado. Os dados foram coletados mediante entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 25 familiares de clientes que sofreram queimaduras, admitidos em uma Unidade de Queimados e observações participantes. Os resultados mostram que o significado cultural atribuído por familiares de pessoas vítimas queimaduras ao processo de cuidar tem duas dimensões: a física e a moral e gera principalmente medo.

Capacidades motoras envolvidas na habilidade psicomotora da técnica de ressuscitação cardiopulmonar: subsídios para o processo ensino-aprendizagem

Trata-se de uma estudo bibliográfico sobre a identificação das capacidades motoras envolvidas na habilidade psicomotora da técnica de ressuscitação cardiopulmonar (RCP) cuja finalidade é obter subsídios para o planejamento do processo ensino-aprendizagem desta habilidade. Verificou-se que as capacidades motoras envolvidas na habilidade psicomotora da técnica de RCP são predominantemente cognitivas e motoras, envolvendo 9 capacidades perceptivo-motoras e 8 capacidades de proficiência física. A técnica de RCP é uma habilidade psicomotora classificada como aberta, seriada e categorizada como uma habilidade fina e global e o processo de ensino-aprendizagem da técnica de RCP tem alto grau de complexidade.

Avaliação da qualidade das anotações de enfermagem embasadas no processo de enfermagem

Estudo retrospectivo no qual foram analisadas as anotações de enfermagem em uma Unidade Especializada que desenvolve o cuidado ao paciente embasado no Processo de Enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados em dois prontuários, utilizando-se instrumento construído para esta finalidade. Na análise, considerou-se, aspectos que avaliaram aparência e conteúdo dos registros. Nos resultados, o auxiliar de enfermagem destacou-se pelo maior número de anotações extensas e pouco específicas, já nos registros realizados pelo enfermeiro observou-se maior número de anotações legíveis e objetivas. Por expressar o trabalho da Enfermagem, maiores investimentos devem ser feitos para tornar as anotações de enfermagem mais objetivas e completas.
