This course conclusion project is linked to the work of the research group at the Chronology and Chronometry Center of UNESP-Rio Claro and also proposes the application of morphometric analysis techniques of the drainage network, by applying Slope Index Value and Extension methods and also the application of longitudinal profile in the far east of the southeast region, more precisely on the border between the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, in the geomorphological sub-zone of Serra da Bocaina. The research was conducted in the watershed of Jacuí river, in order to outline neotectonical influences and structural controls on the landscape configuration, and also sort the drainage network in relation to the proposed standards in the literature so far today

This study aimed to contribute to the environmental planning of the watershed Embirí stream - UGRHI Pontal Paranapanema (belonging to the Paranapanema Management unit) in the cities of Presidente Prudente and Regente Feijó, São Paulo. This basin is located in the area of the Santo Anastácio river source, responsible for supplying water to about 30% of the population of Presidente Prudente. The methodological procedures based on Leal (1995) and Rodriguez et al. (2004), and the steps include inventory and diagnosis of the basin. We conducted extensive literature review, cartographic and documentary on the subject area of research, field work, preparation of thematic maps and summary chart of physical units and environmental use and land cover, participatory mapping of environmental risks, quality analysis of water. Most of the basin of the stream of twine had a high environmental fragility and the main problems found were lack of riparian vegetation, erosion, siltation of water bodies, irregular disposal of debris and the dumping of sewage. The results were summarized in the diagnosis and can identify the most important environmental impacts, environmental and spatial weaknesses of the legislation, and thus draw up proposals for action to the area that is substantially degraded

The regional geological work for the oil industry, in order to find potential areas for hydrocarbon exploration and understand the geological parameters responsible for the formation of the deposit are known importance. This work fits into that scenario, with regional research with the aid of wells and 2D and 3D seismic sold by DBEP (Database Exploration and Production). Were also used as GeoGraphix software package Landmarks modules Prizm and SeisWork 2D and 3D, and the Surfer 8 and ArcGIS 9.2 with the infrastructure provided by the 05 PRH - ANP with LSGI (Laboratory of Seismic and Geological Interpretation) located at UNESP -- Campus de Rio Claro. The work focuses on study the trend of oil-Badejo-Linguado-Pampo, producing fields since the beginning of offshore holdings. The Campos Basin is now known as the offshore basin of the country more productive, and the high structural Badejo is a structure of great importance in the basin presents itself as largely responsible for the conditioning of hydrocarbon fields Pampo, Linguado and Badejo. Therefore this work also aims to increase knowledge of the region in terms of tectonic and stratigraphic characterize the geometry of the structures associated with this major regional structure. For this we used structural contour maps of the main chrono-horizons, and Isopach maps for the purpose of better understanding the tectono-sedimentary evolution of the Campos Basin locally.

Urban sprawl developed without adequate urban planning and lack of knowledge about the physical characteristics of an environmental system, results in soil sealing and consequent change in the dynamics of hydrological watershed. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the behavior of the runoff basin Cóorego DA Servidão located in Rio Claro, referring to the year of 1995 compared to the scenario of 2006, compared the different features of urban use logged area. Therefore understanding the dynamics of the flow was possible through the use of software IPHS 1 that allowed through hydrologic models to evaluate the behavior of the surface area investigated, using Spring 4.3.3 software which enabled the classification of land use and software ArcGis 9.3 which was used for the quantification of stretches of water, separated from those that are channeled and those who did not suffer interference from the pipe

The Bonito oil field, located on southwest of Campos Basin-RJ, has been explored since 1982. The main reservoir is composed by calcarenites of Quissamã Formation (Macaé Group) from Albian, but two other carbonate levels are present on the field, firsts is Coqueiros Formation (Aptian) and the second Siri Member (Oligo-Miocene). In this context and considering that carbonates reservoirs are a challenge for exploratory geoscientists, since the difficulty on recognize the effective reservoir distribution. This work aim to characterize the geophysical/geological facies based on seismic attributes responses, related to reservoir geometrical distribution, for the tree carbonates intervals on Bonito oil Field. A tree dimensional interpretation of the levels has been developed, based on well cross correlation and a 3D seismic interpretation, resulting on the stratigraphic and structural framework of the field, which showed a NE-SW fault trend controlling the Aptian carbonates reservoirs, and halocnetics structures showing a structural trap on Albian carbonates reservoirs. The definition of the structural/ stratigraphic framework possibly the seismic attributes calculations over the reservoir intervals. To select the best response in comparison with the reservoir distribution, obtained by seismic interpretation, the attributes response were compared with isopachs maps of each carbonate stratigraphic level. The attributes Maximum Amplitude, Maximum Magnitude and Rms Amplitude showed a good answer to reservoir distribution. The Rms Amplitude also showed a good correlation with physical rock properties, like RHOB bulk density, for the Albian and Aptian carbonates, as consequence it is possible make a characterization of reservoir distribution based on seismic attribute answer

O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar as possíveis diferenças no teor de nitrogênio e fósforo na biomassa de Pistia stratiotes, que coloniza um rio com caracterísicas naturais (Aguapeú) e outro, que recebe grande carga de efluentes domésticos (rio do Poço). Para tanto, foram coletadas amostras de água e indivíduos de P.stratiotes (cinco réplicas) nesses rios. Paralelamente foram feitas medidas diretas de variáveis físico-químicas na água (pH, temperatura, condutividade elétrica, salinidade e turbidez). Em laboratório, foram determinados os teores de oxigênio dissolvido e a alcalinidade das amostras de água, bem como as concentrações de nitrogênio orgânico total, nitrogênio orgânico dissolvido, N-amoniacal N-nitrito, N-nitrato, fósforo total, fósforo dissolvido e P-ortofosfato. Os indivíduos de P. stratiotes coletados tiveram o número de folhas, diâmetro da roseta, altura da parte aérea e, o comprimento e volume da raiz medidos logo após a coleta. Esse material vegetal foi separado em biomassa aérea e submersa, seco e moído para a determinação da biomassa e dos teores de nitrogênio e fósforo totais. Observou-se que o rio Poço apresentou anoxia e as maiores concentrações de nutrientes na água. Pistia stratiotes apresentou maior biomassa e teores de nitrogênio e fósforo totais no rio Poço, provavelmente, devido às maiores concentrações de nutrientes deste rio. Por outro lado, a anoxia não foi limitante para o crescimento da espécie nesse rio. A maior proliferação de P stratiotes se deu no rio Poço, em relação ao rio Aguapeú, devido às condições de eutrofização em que se encontra esse ambiente, ocasionada pelo lançamento freqüente de efluentes domésticos, ricos em nutrientes, em seu curso d’água.

The growing demand for electricity in Brazil has stimulated the implementation of Small Hydro Power (PCH) in various regions of the country. However, the silting of reservoirs is a major problem faced by power plants and power plants. In this context, this study aimed to evaluate the data hydrosedimentological strategic points of the watershed of the Alto Rio Sucuriú (MS) to identify the possible causes siltation of the reservoir PCH Costa Rica and suggest mitigation measures. Hydrosedimentological surveys were conducted during the rainy season (February / March 2012) and drought (August 2012), and obtained data flow, discharge liquid, suspended solids and bottom and organic matter content. Based on these results it was determined that the points 2, 4, 7 and 9 are the largest contributors to sedimentation, and point 4 got most liquid discharge (38,20 m3s-1), point 7 largest discharge of solid suspension (906,3 mg L-1), points 2 and 4 major discharges solid totals (231,59 t dia-1 and 238,185 t dia-1 respectively) and point 9 higher organic matter content (22,18%) . Found greater fraction of fine sand and very fine suspended solids and solid medium sand in the background. As mitigation measures for the process of silting of the reservoir PCH Costa Rica (MS) highlights the orientation of landowners in adopting conservation measures and planting of leguminous species native to the region in symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing bacteria

This work, presented in order to obtain the environmental engeneer title, is to raise the current status of environmental conditions in the watershed of the stream of Olga and thus contribute to environmental planning for the recovery, conservation and preservation. To this end, we conducted literature surveys and survey of the characteristics of the watershed, analysis of water fron stream of Olga and making use of remote sensingand of the soil, environmental fragiityand spatialization of APPs in order to carry out further research on the environmental conditions of the basin, as well as inferences about possible causes of degradation of watershed.Most of the basin of the stream Olga had a high environmental fargility and the main problem was the lack of riparian vegetation is also considered the cause of environmental problems of the watershed.The results will be available to municipal governments in order to contribute to their planning and management of UGRHI the teh watershed pertence

Este trabalho teve como objetivo principal analisar a dinâmica geomorfológica, bem como a apropriação humana do relevo, mediante a interpretação de forma integrada dos documentos cartográficos elaborados a partir de técnicas da cartografia morfométrica, geomorfológica e de uso da terra, de forma a subsidiar ações vinculadas ao planejamento ambiental da Bacia do Ribeirão Tijuco Preto (SP). Sob os auspícios da abordagem sistêmica, a partir de uma visão integrada e complexa dos sistemas geomorfológicos, propôs-se a quantificar os atributos das formas de relevo, representando-os cartográficamente com a elaboração das Cartas Morfométricas de Declividade ou Clinográfica (De Biase, 1970 e 1992), de Dissecação Horizontal (Spiridonov, 1981 e adaptações de Mauro et. al.,1991), de Dissecação Vertical (Spiridonov, 1981) e de Energia do Relevo (Mendes, 1993). Também, contemplou-se a cartografia geomorfológica de detalhe, com a elaboração da Carta Geomorfológica (Tricart, 1965), bem como o mapeamento do uso da terra, expresso na Carta de Uso da Terra (Ceron e Diniz, 1966). De forma geral, a análise dos Produtos Cartográficos elaborados, permitiu constatar que a Bacia do Ribeirão Tijuco Preto vem sofrendo o desencadeamento de processos erosivos variados. Tais processos estão associados a uma conjunção de condicionantes, que podem ser apontados pelas variadas condições morfométricas do terreno, o clima quente e úmido reinante, as diferentes litologias aflorantes, a tipologia dos solos, bem como, e, de maneira veemente, a intervenção humana. O condicionante antrópico está majoritariamente representado pela monocultura canavieira e pela urbanização, sendo agentes cruciais no desencadeamento dos processos erosivos existentes e na interferência direta na dinâmica do escoamento fluvial da Bacia do Ribeirão Tijuco Preto.

A rápida expansão do espaço urbano no Brasil ocorreu e continua ocorrendo, geralmente, de forma desordenada e sem perspectivas imediatas de ordenação das práticas de uso e ocupação do solo. O planejamento da ocupação do espaço urbano, baseado na racionalidade capitalista, embora englobe fundamentos interdisciplinares, na prática tem sido realizado dentro de um âmbito mais restrito do conhecimento, desconsiderando aspectos fundamentais dessa dinâmica. Essa situação tem resultado em grandes transtorno e custos para a sociedade e para o meio ambiente, atingindo diretamente os sistemas de drenagens urbanos e resultando no crescimento dos eventos de cheia. Assim, o planejamento urbano vem buscando alternativas que possibilitem o alcance do desenvolvimento urbano sustentável. Neste sentido, este trabalho objetiva avaliar qualitativamente a implantação reservatórios de detenção implantados no alto curso da sub-bacia do Alto Tietê, de modo a avaliar os problemas apresentados através da realização de um inventário dos avanços atingidos na incorporação destas medidas no gerenciamento dos sistemas de drenagem nesta subbacia.

Esta monografia esta relacionado à pesquisa de iniciação científica inserida no Grupo de Pesquisa em Gestão Ambiental e Dinâmica Socioespacial (GADIS), da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, UNESP, campus de Presidente Prudente, e vincula-se a projetos mais amplos desenvolvidos com apoio da FAPESP, do CNPq e FEHIDRO. De modo geral, este trabalho possui o objetivo de contribuir para o planejamento ambiental da bacia do Balneário da Amizade, como também para o gerenciamento de seus recursos hídricos, aprofundando conhecimentos teórico-metodológicos sobre o tema. Os procedimentos metodológicos seguem a proposta de Rodriguez (1994) adaptada por Leal (1995), na qual incluem etapas de elaboração do Inventário, Diagnóstico Ambiental, Prognóstico e Propostas, de modo a identificar as características de uso e ocupação da bacia do Balneário da Amizade, mapear seus principais problemas ambientais e elaborar propostas visando sua recuperação ambiental e a preservação de seus recursos hídricos, além de analisar políticas públicas direcionadas para a bacia. A importância desta pesquisa se inicia com a escolha da área de estudo, já que a mesma é uma importante bacia hidrográfica para os municípios de Presidente Prudente e Álvares Machado... STRATIGRAPHIC SUCCESSION OF ALAGOAS STAGE ON SERRA DO TONÃ, TUCANO BASIN (BAHIA). Located in northeast of Bahia, serra do Tonã is a NS elongated plateau that standsout in the flattened relief of Tucano Basin. The stratigraphic succession belongs to the Aptian post-rift sequence of this basin. Based on facies analysis, vertical stratigraphic profiles and satelite images interpretation, three stacked stratigraphic units were recognized: (1) lower carbonate unit, composed by laminated limestones and breccias, 5 m thick, correlated with Camadas Batateira of Arripe Basin; (2) intermediate siliciclastic unit, 100m thick and made of sandstones exhibiting finning upward cycles, overlaid by mudstones and sandstones wich sedimentary structures suggest action of tidal currents and (3) upper carbonate unit, composed by laminated limestones, 2-10 m thick, related with Santana Formation, that record lacustrine environment with possible marine influence. Paleocurrent analysis indicates proviniance from north and paleoflows towards south, similar to the Aptian fluvial facies of Araripe Basin, showing that both basins integrated the same continental paleodrainage

The Golfinho Field is located in the offshore region of the Espírito Santo Basin. Its importance is linked to the current average production about 19,000 barrels of oil per day, in turbidite reservoirs , giving it the nineteenth placement among the largest oil fields producing of Brazil. By interpretation and correlation’s methods based on 2D seismic sections and geophysical well logs, the study of tectonic-sedimentary evolution of major Golfinho Field’s reservoirs, which are located in Maastrichtian , aims understand and characterize the geological model of the area for the purpose of identify the main structures and types of reservoirs, improving the geological understanding of the area and using this knowledge at similar sets, that may present exploratory success in similar cases. By structural contour maps and geological cross-sections generated since time-depth conversion , the results defined for the geological model of the area , two distinct tectonic styles: a distensinal tectonics style , characterized by grabens and horsts , which belongs to rift phase, and a salt tectonics style, characterized by salt domes , listric faults and folds rolllover folds type, which belongs to marine phase . The interpretation of seismic sections and subsequent analysis of the main deformations present in the Maastrichtian reservoirs rocks ( turbidites ) showed that the northern region of the field is the most affected by salt tectonics . As for reservoirs, it was concluded to be associated to tectonics formed by rollover folds type, being older than listric faults
