Significados e expectativas de crianças das camadas populares em relação à escolarização

Nowadays, we understand the childhood as a result of historical and social changes. This work aims to comprehend representations and expectations made by children from the popular classes in the initial years of Fundamentaql Education. We conducted a research with six students from a public school that attends children from urban popular layer's families. The research examines the meanings and representations of educational practices developed in the relationships established among teachers, students and families through their life stories. Among the results, we can say that the environment of differentiation in the school id perceived to the students because they introject teacher's representations about their performance. Scientific studies show that children crystallize a positive image of the shool when the speech and posture of the institution value and encourage learning. However, the students are challenged to produce better results in order to participate in extracurricular activities, which they are excluded todue indiscipline or learning difficulties. The mean of the schooling is highly influenced by the performance of students and also by the attitude of educators in the family and in the school. The theoretical review points out that when students have a good performance, the merit is attributed to stress and ease they have to acquire the learning contents. In other hand, struggling students or with a lag of content explains the academic problems stems from the lack of capacity and potential for acquisition of learning compatible with age, defining schooling as something necessary for training, but which is inaccessible in their life stories

Mídia radical: análise comparativa entre a opinião da grande imprensa e da mídia radical no novo código florestal

The objective of this work is to compare how manifests the ideological positioning in the hegemonic media productions, according to Gramsci's conception, in relation to the radical alternative media, proposed by John Downing. The research has as opinionated content sample printed newspaper O Estado de s. Paulo, contrasting with the expressions of NON-PROFIT bauruense environmental “Instituto Ambiental Vidágua on the proposals of the new Brazilian forest Code. A discursivização em Wall.E: sociedade, tecnologia e poder

This article consists in a discourse analysis of the feature film in animation Wall.e produced by Pixar in association to Disney in 2008. Pixar has been known to produce films that contain various discursive levels, making its products appealing not only for children, but also for adults. However, Wall-e proves to be a masterpiece in Pixar carrier, because it is the one which focuses on the analysis and critique of contemporary society associated with technological development. For this, the plot has as its starting point the question of sustainability and unbridled consumerism. But the film expands the debate, tracing the relationship between technology and humanity, discussing how one affects the other. The project therefore aims to show how the animation works such concepts and constructs his discourse. To this end, the work seeks to identify the signs that make up the discourse and draw the intertextuality between WALL.E and other works that also discuss the same elements such as Stanley Kubrick‟s 2001 - A Space Odyssey (1968)

Implicações sobre o trabalho coletivo, relações de poder na escola e valorização / desvalorização docente

As questões dessa pesquisa se delinearam a partir de uma outra, sobre a construção do Projeto Pedagógico (Dias e Tuppy, 2010), cujo levantamento preliminar aponta para os temas acima apontados, quais sejam: trabalho coletivo, relações de poder e mecanismos de valorização profissional no âmbito da instituição escolar, a que chamaremos de categorias de análise. O trabalho coletivo é o mecanismo vital para o êxito da vida escolar, e vê-se a necessidade de olhar quais os mecanismos dessa prática. As relações de poder na escola podem ser vistas de diversos ângulos, e será outro componente da pesquisa. A desvalorização e valorização docente que se vincula a ideologias, a visões da sociedade, e até as questões de gênero. No trabalho preliminar realizado no âmbito daquela pesquisa, por 10 pesquisadores, em 53 escolas de uma Rede Municipal de Ensino, tais categorias aparecem de forma recorrente nas discussões realizadas com os profissionais das diferentes escolas, apontando para o fato de que tais temas tem prevalência no cotidiano escolar, implicando a necessidade de um estudo mais acurado sobre eles. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa, buscará elementos que forneçam aporte teórico à parte das discussões que serão encaminhadas por aquele estudo. Recorreremos, assim, ao levantamento de trabalhos, cuja temática estabeleça relação com as categorias de análise aqui definidas. Com os objetivos de buscar aporte teórico para discussão do cotidiano escolar, levantar trabalhos científicos que tratem das seguintes temáticas: trabalho coletivo, relações de poder e mecanismos de valorização profissional no âmbito da instituição. Para elaboração deste trabalho será realizada uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, através de levantamento e análise bibliográfica, a fim de mapear e analisar a produção científica sobre os temas propostos. This conclusion of course work aims to investigate the city of Limerick / SP, in order to question whether there are and what public policies developed by local, if there are training places for young people and targeting the job market or even partnerships between the city and local businesses seeking to supply the concrete conditions of preparation and targeting young people for the labor market. All changes in education accompanied the need to provide skilled labor to contribute to the country's economic development. The work is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is about the whole historical development of professional education in Brazil and new challenges. The second chapter discusses the reality of the world of work changes and their consequences, and the issue of working children and adolescents. The third chapter is about the difficulty of insertion of the poor youth in the current job market. The fourth chapter presents the city of Limerick to the needs of professional schools to meet the large number of trades and industries, which are currently listed by the educational institutions of the city and programs signed between the Municipal bodies and institutions such as SENAC (National Service of Commercial Learning) and Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning). The fifth chapter presents an interview with the CAMPL the city of Limerick, whose goal and give professional training to teens to get the first employee. Imagens de satélite na análise da relação entre queimadas, aerossóis atmosféricos e precipitação

The direct and indirect effects of atmospheric aerossols in the amazonic climate have been focus of many published. This work aims to analyze a possible relation among Burns, atmospheric aerossols and precipitation above South America. It uses the avaluable data from the satellites AQUA/TERRA and TRMM and the images furnished by NOAA and GOES. These analysis can provide some explanations about the effects of emission of aerosols by burns on the composition of atmosphere and cloud formation, mainly in Amazon. We use the Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) from MODIS/TERRA-AQUA, burns index from CPTEC and rain rate from TRMM. The data we use were obtained from 2000 until 2012. The study is divided in two parts. In the first one, it was performed a quantitative analysis between number of burns and aerosols emission. It was identified a great variability in space and time of the AOD on South America. On the north, northeast and center-west, the AOD is significant during the winter period, with peak on August and September. The southeast is affected by aerosols from center-west due to the dynamical transport. In the second part, it was evaluated the relation between AOD and precipitation in a 13-year period. The statistical analysis shows up a negative correlation of 0.72 between August and October, on Legal Amazon. These result indicate an inverse relation between AOD and rain rate. The other months present not significant correlation. These results are in a good agreement with the literature, in which in-situ methods were applied or combined with satellites data. The increasing of aerosols concentration in the atmosphere are reinforced during drier years. It can affect the increasing process of water drops, decreasing the precipitation. We also verified higher values of AOD (0.25 - 0.3) during years with El Niño, than the climatologically average (~0.15 - 0.2), ... (Complete abstract click electronic access below)

Relação entre materiais dentários e o complexo dentino-pulpar

Despite the strong valorization of the esthetics and its relationship with restorative materials, the biological principles of any clinical procedure are extremely important to maintain the vitality of the dentin-pulp complex. Dentin and pulp tissue are susceptible to different kinds of irritants such as toxins from microorganisms, traumatic procedures of cavity preparation, as well as toxic components released by restorative materials applied in non recommended clinical situations. Initially, the pulp responds to irritation by starting an inflammatory reaction which involves outward movement of dentinal fluid and intratubular deposition of immunoglobulins, upregulation of odontoblast activities, presence of immune cells and their cytokines as well as local expression of neuropeptides and chemokines. After these initial events, the inflammation process can be resolved associated or not to sclerotic dentin formation and reactionary dentin deposition. If high intensity offensive stimuli are applied to the dentin-pulp complex, death of odontoblasts takes place and consequently pulp ageing or even partial necrosis of this tissue may occurs. Thereby, clinicians need to be aware about the physiological and pathological features of the dentin-pulp complex as well as the possible biological consequences of different clinical procedures. In this way, the dentists should be able to carry out minimally aggressive operative techniques and to select the more appropriate restorative materials for each specific clinical situation in order to obtain excellent clinical results associated to the maintenance of pulp vitality.

In recent years, the concept of art education has been changing substantially the artistic and cultural education in the Brazilian educational system, particularly in relation to the formation of a critical awareness and practice of citizenship. In this process, the Community Public Relations and Public Communication excel in fostering alliances between government and community. Based on literature review and authors debates, such as Geertz, Santos, White, Freire, Araujo, Barbosa, Kunsch e Peruzzo. Besides the analysis of important materials, official documents and Brazilian projects involving art, culture and education, such as Research-Action Report 2013, the National Plan for Culture, the National Education Plan and the Municipal Act 6119; this paper seeks to explicit this affirmation, assuming the social transformation aiming a full citizenship, as a motivational factor. In this paper we also present a plan that includes a project in art education for the Stable Dance Company and the public elementary schools in Bauru SP

Ontopolíticas e diagramas históricos do poder: maioria e minoria segundo Deleuze e a teoria das multidões segundo Peirce

This article aims at developing the so-called ontopolitics as G. Deleuze s innovative contribution to contemporary political philosophy. This objective will lead us to inspect the concept of power that Deleuze borrowed from Foucault and extended in order to assign to it an ontological adequacy. The concept of power opens access to another important element of the Deleuzean political philosophy, that is, the study of the historical diagrams of the power in the so-called discipline and control societies. With the combined dynamical diagram of both, we become aware of the portrait Deleuze draws for the democracy in contemporary societies. Digging into the Deleuzean ontopolitics, we will devote ourselves to the concepts of majority, minority and minor-becoming. It is in this point that the meeting between Deleuze s ontoplitics and Ch. Sanders Peirce s mathematical ontology becomes sound. It happens that Deleuze s ontopolitical concepts, besides their bond to an ontology of the power, receive also a mathematical treatment related to certain arithmetical (denumerable and nondenumerable) and geometrical notions (lines). The majorities and minorities are denumerable sets which are crossed by nondenumerable becomings. This step done, we will reach the stand point of the present paper, where we carry out initial approach with regard to an image for the concepts of majority and minority on the basis of Peirce s theory of collections and multitudes, mostly envisaging the mathematical ontology included in it. Accordingly, the main operation to be accomplished is that the Deleuzean distinction between the denumerable majorities/minorities and the nondenumerable mino-becoming may be mapped out in terms of discrete collections called enumerable, denumerable and abnumerable or postnumerable, in compliance with Peirce s terminology.

Imprensa italiana em São Paulo e o fascismo: o Fanfulla (1921-1942)

This article intends to verify the Fanfulla's action in the dynamic of the political propaganda, as well as the cultural exchanges established with the fascism during 1922-1924. The leading question is insert on the political culture studies concerned with the significance of the fascism spread among the Italian immigrants and his descendants located on the Sao Paulo State. It unfold in others questions: the reason of the Mussolini government pledge to publish those ideas, the themes approached in this propaganda, the reactions it rise, as well on the Italian community, the Brazilian government and political movements. On this issue is included the position of the Brazilian government, on the Brazilian diplomacy or in the repressive agencies toward fascist Italy and the supporters of the fascism. The choice of the newspaper Fanfulla is justified for its position in the historiography, considered the most expressive source for this study, due its longevity, relations with the fascist regime and diffusion on Sao Paulo State.
