Halitose: limitando a qualidade de vida

The aim of this literature review is to observe the causes, symptoms and consequences of halitosis and the influence of preventive measures. Halitosis has multifactorial causes, and may have local and systemic origins. It can limit the quality of life of individuals and often occurs due to lack of knowledge of prevention methods. Therefore, it is important that professionals are better prepared and people informed about the physiological and pathological halitosis to prevent its individual and social effects.

A educação ambiental na formação de pedagogos de uma universidade publicado Estado de São Paulo

This study aimed to understand environmental education in the training of teachers of one pedagogy course at a public university in the state of São Paulo. To answer this question, an exploratory research was conducted, in which a study field, by the techniques of semistructured interviews and documentary analysis, provided the data for analysis. Important to highlight theoretical and methodological foundations of Historical-Dialectical Materialism and Historical-Critical Pedagogy that guided the study. With the results analyzed, we say that environmental education in the studied pedagogy course is minimal and, when it appears, enhances conservation and care with the environment perspectives, without considering the causes of environmental degradation: the way to produce life in capitalist society. In this sense, it is necessary for a consistent formation of the teacher in environmental education to advance the knowledge of this field directly related to education. For the inclusion of environmental education in school education, it is necessary that their knowledge to be considered in education, especially in the training of teachers. Therefore, the data collected and analyzed in this study may contribute to the formation of teachers to understand that environmental education in their training has not been established with the importance and the quality that the social and environmental problems require, with no place along the undergraduation, a condition that needs to be changed to teacher develop a transformative environmental educational practice at school

Educação infantil e políticas públicas: algumas considerações a partir de um estudo de caso

O presente estudo tem como objetivos discutir a função da creche e da pré‐escola no contexto das políticas públicas para a educação infantil, bem como refletir sobre a formação necessária aos profissionais da educação infantil para alcançar uma melhor qualidade do atendimento. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de um formato de investigação caracterizado como estudo de caso etnográfico. Essa forma de pesquisa nos permitiu conhecer, em maior profundidade, a cultura de uma instituição e as perspectivas dos profissionais que participavam de seu cotidiano. Nesse sentido, realizamos observações sistemáticas da rotina institucional, bem como, entrevistas não‐ estruturadas e semi‐estruturadas com as educadoras que atuavam na creche e na pré‐escola. O estudo evidenciou distinções quanto à escolaridade, à jornada de trabalho das educadoras que atuavam na creche e na pré‐escola, bem como nos objetivos educacionais estabelecidos para essas modalidades de atendimento a infância. As concepções das educadoras acerca dos objetivos da Educação Infantil retratam uma visão compensatória e preventiva.  

Formação docente e o ensino da educação física junto às crianças com 6 anos de idade no 1º ano do ensino fundamental: a perspectiva dos professores de educação física

Since there are few physical education teachers working in kindergarten, now, due to the elementary school for nine years - getting children 6 years of age, this seems to be a challenge for teachers. Therefore, interested in mobilizing efforts to understand how your training is on this new context, and how is this entry of students from 6 years old in elementary school. From the perspective of the physical education teacher who is acting in this context. In this sense, the objective of this study was to analyze teacher training and teaching of physical education among children 6 years of age entering the first grade of elementary school from the perspective of physical education teachers who work in this field. This study was guided by the principles of qualitative research, making the collection through semi-structured interview, 11 participated in the investigation of physical education teachers working in the first grade of elementary school. The categories of analysis that have emerged from our study were: 1 Teacher training; 2 The 9-year elementary school for children 6 years of age; 3 Teaching physical education in early childhood education: Reflections on its limits and its possibilities. We can point out that physical education in school is still recognized as unimportant, although the LDB 9394/96 art. 26 § 3, have given your requirement, this is not enough to change the scenario that presents itself. School is still considered by many as a space in which the body is separated from the cognitive. Therefore, for many, the play of children is worthless and physical education is worthless. Teachers interviewed here reveal that has focused efforts on making a better quality of physical education, especially among children 1 year, trying to meet their expectations and need characteristics of the universe of childhood

Principais modificações na pós-graduação no Brasil e suas implicações na qualidade de vida dos professores universitários

This work aimed to point out the major changes in post-graduation and their implications on professor's well-being. For this proposal, exploratory research was carried out using books and periodicals, indexed in SciELO and Web of Science. We tried to emphasize research published in the last decade. The subject is difficult to bound, as the definition of quality of life itself depends on geographical and cultural aspects. Thus, the main aspects that surround this controversial issue were selected, with no claim to exhaust it. It is pretty clean that university managers believe that the university must meet the productivist requirements. Therefore, university and undergraduate, which in the recent past were spaces of thinking, became a series production space. In this scenario it is not enough pure research and long-term, but the rapid and direct research. Also, some studies already show the relationship between the work of public universities and health issues. It is believed that the deleterious relationship between the productivist pressure and the teacher's quality of life will be quite evident in a near future

Análise da produção acadêmica no campo da educação física acerca do currículo do estado de São Paulo e suas implicações para a prática pedagógica

Visando melhoria na qualidade do ensino e da aprendizagem dos alunos, a Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo elaborou em 2008 um documento para sistematizar um currículo único para todas as escolas dos níveis de ensino fundamental II e médio, sob sua jurisdição. Assim, objetiva-se com o presente estudo analisar tanto qualitativa quanto quantitativamente a produção acadêmicocientífica no campo da Educação Física acerca do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo, a fim de identificar as possíveis implicações para a prática pedagógica. Para isso, foram analisados artigos publicados em sete periódicos nacionais da área e um banco de teses e dissertações, tendo como recorte temporal o período de 2008 até 2014. A análise e discussão dos dados se deu, inicialmente, por apresentar os resultados referentes a cada um dos periódicos investigados para, em um segundo momento, compreender de forma qualitativa o panorama geral concernente à produção acadêmica na área da Educação Física sobre a temática do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo. Logo após, os artigos e as teses e dissertações foram organizados de acordo com a classificação de temas investigados proposta por Bracht et al. (2011). Assim, foi possível identificar as possíveis implicações da produção acadêmico-científica para a prática pedagógica, sob essa temática. Os resultados indicaram uma baixa quantidade de publicações pautadas no Currículo do Estado de São Paulo para a disciplina de Educação Física. Do total de 593 artigos ou trabalhos monográficos que foram encontrados sobre Educação Física escolar, foram identificados apenas 16 baseados no Currículo do Estado de São Paulo para a disciplina de Educação Física, valor correspondente a 2,69% do total encontrado sobre a temática de Educação Física escolar durante o período considerado para a pesquisa. Avaliação da qualidade de vida dos funcionários administrativos ativos da Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP - Rio Claro

A preocupação com a saúde e bem-estar atinge uma maioria de indivíduos, atualmente a busca por uma vida mais saudável faz parte do dia a dia de grande parte da população. Para alcançar uma boa qualidade de vida diversos aspectos devem ser considerados. No ambiente de trabalho a qualidade de vida tem sido afetada em consequência da utilização cada vez menor das potencialidades corporais dos indivíduos. Em contrapartida, a atividade física proporciona benefícios à saúde dentro e fora do ambiente de trabalho. Assim, o objetivo desse estudo foi identificar a associação entre qualidade de vida no trabalho e sua relação com o nível de atividade física dos funcionários administrativos da Unesp de Rio Claro - SP. A análise dessa associação pode auxiliar no enriquecimento de técnicas para intervenção e promoção da saúde, podendo aumentar a qualidade de vida no trabalho. Para a coleta dos aspectos psicossociais dos participantes foi aplicado um Questionário de Avaliação de Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho em Instituições de Ensino Superior em 136 funcionários administrativos (exceto docentes e trabalhadores de manutenção). Esse questionário avalia 7 domínios em 2 blocos: bloco 1 avaliação de desempenho, bloco 2 avaliação de frequência. Além disso, foi utilizado o questionário de Baecke adaptado por Florindo et al. (2004), para acessar o nível de atividade física. Medidas antropométricas foram coletadas para dados sobre a composição corporal dos participantes. Para coleta de dados sobre os aspectos socioeconômicos foi utilizado o questionário Critério de Classificação Econômica do Brasil proposto pela Associação Nacional de Empresas de Pesquisa (ANEP - 2003). Os resultados demonstraram que a maioria dos funcionários é Moderadamente ativa (58,1%) e na maior parte dos domínios da qualidade de vida no trabalho associados com nível de atividade física os resultados foram indesejáveis...

Educação para o desenvolvimento sustentável: o papel da Universidade

The University is responsible for the stablishment of citizens with critical thinking, based on current concepts, capable of a dynamic and participative attitude in the community in which these professinals will be inserted. Education at environmental sustainability, permeated by the articulation among knowledge, social, and cultural phenomena, brings the challenge of incorporating skills, providing essential values not only for understanding the historical relations between human beings and the environment, but also to improving the quality of life. The “World Conference on Higher Education in the Twenty-first Century: Vision and Action" guides the educational process by its mission to train citizens professionals, highly informed, motivated, integrated and able to create a society based on love of humanity and wisdom. The balancing among the basic functions of teaching, research and extension within the University contributes to the student to take ownership of the construction of his own knowledge in a perspective of integral formation of the human being, aware of his social responsibility and policy for a society environmentally sound. This paper aims to, guided by literature review, present some considerations on the role of the University in education for environmental sustainability.

Projeto de Educação Ambiental e Lazer (PEDAL): dialogando a partir do cicloturismo na escola

The PEDAL had beginning with an interested group in accomplishing walks and bicycle trips looking for fruition of the disentailed leisure of the consumption. The objective of this report of experience is to present the cicloturismo as an alternative of fruition of the leisure that has been making possible debates and reflections that seek to the understanding of alunos/as of the basic education on the interface among the themes leisure, environmental education and quality of the life. In this report we considered intervention accomplished at a school of fundamental teaching in the city of Saint Carlos-SP. Starting from the results of the analysis of the registrations produced pelos/as alunos/as, we considered that the theme, of interest of the same ones, raised the construction of significant reflections, such as: the possibility of the use of the bicycle as means of transportation for the work or for the leisure; the need of public politics that promote and guarantee safety and respect to the cyclist.
