In this paper are systematized the discussions conducted by GDP "Research in EA and School Context", in VII EPEA, which have had, as its main axis, themes, authors and theoretical perspectives privileged in research presented at the event and declared themselves affiliated to this GDP. The dialogue with researches from previous meetings and other, aims to deepen the questions posed by the research group. The discussions allowed to identify themes and issues that present themselves as significant and challenging for research in EA in the school context, namely the conversion of schools into sustainable educational spaces; public-private partnerships, with great interest from companies and NGOs in school spaces, waving kits with educational materials produced for the school; lack of investment in public policies for teacher training in EA; tendency to an adherence to critical environmental education, without, however, have clear theoretical and methodological commitments under this option.

The teaching of Science is one great challenge not only for educators but also for researchers in our country. In a globalized world where the social foundations, cultural and economic depend fundamentally on science and technology, science education is a basic requirement for the exercise of citizenship. Multiple initiatives have been taken to improve the quality of teaching of science practiced in our schools: the ReAction Program is the result of a set of actions developed by a public educational policy that invests in improving the Teaching of Science the elementary school. In this work, we present a history of this program and the search on the contribution and the actions developed, the collaborative research with a group of teachers-multiplier, and the evaluation of the teaching of science, measured from notes, frequency and speech teacher.

The Urban Solid Residues are the rests of human activity, popularly known by trash and considered by population like useless, undesirable and disposable. On the other hand, for the waste pickers, solid residues are the beginning of a cycle: they see in the other's people trash the only income, an economic value. Currently, in brazilian cities, one million collectors act, alone or in cooperatives, socially excluded by the work they do. The National Policy of Solid Residues (PNRS), instituted in 2010, established guidelines to the execution of integrated residues management, with should be practiced by city halls and other governmental institutions. This policy has, besides other things, goals of residues reduction and inclusion of waste pickers in the mechanism of selective collect and recycling. However, this and other public policies created for residue management are benefic only for cooperated waste pickers. That could negatively affect most of this class, since 90% are waste pickers working in a precarious way on the country's streets. This study has for objective show that most of waste pickers that work in a precarious way on the brazilian territory has a huge potential for the solid residues recycling chain and how they should be valued for the environmental services they provide, so they can be included with dignity on the society, ensuring economic and social benefits for this workers. The methodology adopted was based on the amount of residue collected by the 44 cooperated members of the Rio Claro‟s waste pickers cooperative to estimate the potential of collect and recycling did by 210 autonomous waste pickers who are active on city streets. It was observed that the cooperative collects the equivalent of 10.2% of all recyclable residues generated by city population. However, with the potential that these autonomous waste pickers have, which together could contribute 465 tonnes of solid residues per month, or 5,570 tons a year...

A desfibrilação precoce na ressuscitação cardiopulmonar (RCP) recebe crescente destaque quanto à prioridade e rapidez. Este é um relato de experiência da implantação de um programa de capacitação em RCP, utilizando o desfibrilador em uma universidade privada. O programa em manobras básicas de RCP foi baseado nas diretrizes mundiais, envolvendo um curso teórico com demonstração prática das manobras de RCP com desfibrilador, treinamento prático individual, avaliação teórica e prática. Quanto ao desempenho dos alunos na avaliação prática, a média das pontuações obtidas pelos alunos na 1ª Etapa foi de 26,4 pontos e na 2ª Etapa a média aumentou para 252,8 pontos, já na Avaliação teórica na 1ª Etapa foi de 3,06 pontos e na 2ª Etapa a média aumentou para 9,0 pontos. A implantação desse tipo de programas contribui para a aquisição efetiva de conhecimento (teórico) e da habilidade (prática) nos atendimentos a vítimas de PCR.

O Programa Institucional de Bolsa a Iniciaçao a Docência possui grande relevância enquanto programa de formaçao de professores em universidades, fortalecendo a integraçao ensino, pesquisa e extensao na formaçao inicial e continuada de professores. Diante do contexto, a realizaçao desta pesquisa teve como objetivo apresentar dados referentes ao Programa Institucional de Bolsa a Iniciaçao a Docência do Curso de Educaçao Física Licenciatura da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. A coleta de dados foi realizada a partir de estudo de documentos relativos à constituiçao do Programa Institucional de Bolsa a Iniciaçao a Docência da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Pôde-se observar que o programa abrange um grande número de participantes, entre coordenadores, supervisores, professores e acadêmicos bolsistas e, devido aos grandes benefícios proporcionados à formaçao de docentes, torna-se necessário ampliar o número de envolvidos para que mais sujeitos sejam favorecidos com o programa

O Programa Institucional de Iniciaçao à Docência proporciona a vários estudantes a oportunidade de experiência prática na área de educaçao física escolar. Dessa maneira, a realizaçao deste relato de experiências teve como objetivo identificar a relaçao entre a formaçao inicial e o PIBID/EDF1 SubprojetoCultura Esportiva da Escola, bem como compreender a importância de ambos para a formaçao acadêmica. Os resultados encontrados advieram de um relato de experiência do caso de docência precoce do período de março a julho de 2013. Como principais resultados podemos apresentar que da formaçao inicial esperamos bastante e acabamos por nos decepcionar com suas deficiências e que devem ser criados mais tipos de programas de incentivo que aproximem a realidade escolar com o universo da formaçao teórico-prática. Também, o PIBID pode ser considerado um desses programas que auxiliam de grande forma nessa aproximaçao com a realidade escolar e de suma importância para a formaçao inicial

O trabalho pretende analisar as políticas públicas voltadas para a educaçao superior brasileira, com foco nas açoes de permanência para os estudantes cotistas em universidades públicas. Em especial, intenciona analisar como a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul concebe as açoes de permanência em seu programa de açoes afirmativas. Ademais, procura trazer um panorama do debate sobre educaçao como direito na dimensao jurídica da proteçao legal e na dimensao sociológica, já que na sociedade, nem todos recebem o quinhao equitativo com o mesmo reconhecimento social. Além de uma breve revisao bibliografica, apoia-se na coleta, leitura e tratamento de textos normativos, tais como: resoluçoes, leis, portarias, decretos e decisoes que tratam sobre o assunto

This paper has as objective to analyze the foundry work politics made by the Olívio Dutra's government in the state of Rio Grande do Sul-Brazil, being taken into account their guidelines, the dynamics of the political struggle promoted between the social leaders from the rural area and the achieved global results. This government's freshness is related to the fact of it was being sustained and supported by a coalition of left wing parties and by a group of social movements and also by syndical entities of the field, which was decisive in the presentation of an antagonistic program to the neoliberal politics on energy in a national extent. Hence this government became committed in adopting an own foundry work politics, being opposed to the program of market land reform extolled by Cardoso's government, in national wide. Therefore, the results presented along the article demonstrate that in spite of the assumed commitments and, in face of legal, institutional and economical limitations and also its existent politics, the space of the state governments' performance can only be thought about its complemental character on the federal government's actions.
