Método Pilates: equilíbrio perfeito entre corpo e mente?

Taking as base the Brazilian Physical Education History, it’s possible to observe how much the recognizable corporal activity as smooth and alternative, giving origin to non traditional ways to move the body that receives the name of “alternative corporal practices” has increased lately. Therefore this research was done with objective to raise interest and stimulate physical educational professional and general interested people knowledge to the work of a corporal approach called “Pilates Method”. Based on a bibliographic research in sites, articles, and books about Pilates method, alternative corporal practices and physical education history, we tried to gather, in one material, important information about Pilates method. To organize the material here shown, we guided ourselves on the collection of UNESP´s library and on Pilates methods training courses about which were made references in the body text and were mentioned the bibliographic reference for further profound study of interested people. We hope that Physical Educational professionals and further interested people find in this conclusion course work that intends to contribute to the method divulgation assistance for higher and deeper knowledge concerning to the origin, principles and possibilities of practical appliance pedagogy of Pilates Methods.

Ecologia e sociedade: um estudo sobre a experiência da Uniluz

Nesta pesquisa estudamos as relações entre ecologia e sociedade a partir da experiência realizada pela Organização Social Civil de Interesse Público – Nazaré UNILUZ, sediada em Nazaré Paulista, no Estado de São Paulo. Esta organização social implementa diversos programas de desenvolvimento sustentável e tem como eixo central a relação do sujeito com a natureza. Todos os projetos executados nesta instituição afirmam o compromisso com o desenvolvimento sustentável. Com o uso da metodologia da “cartografia” apresentamos as paisagens emergentes no trânsito por um território de fronteira constituído nas relações entre ecologia e sociedade. Assumimos como hipótese de investigação que os modos como os indivíduos se implicam em seus percursos pela natureza determinam a dinâmica dos vínculos com ela estabelecidos. Devido a esta hipótese faremos um rigoroso rastreamento das marcas das sensações e as possíveis vinculações com o movimento de re-significação dos modos do sujeito estar na vida. Portanto, a dimensão epistemológica será, em todo o estudo, considerada em suas articulações com a dimensão ontológica. Neste mapeamento de marcas e sentidos acrescentaremos uma atenção especial para com o papel da memória, seja no recurso de aproximação das marcas constitutivas no corpo dos sujeitos, seja na condição material de adentrar na linguagem e elaborar sentidos. Nosso estudo pretende, por meio da cartografia, avaliar os limites e as possibilidades dos programas de desenvolvimento sustentável, quando tais programas incluem os modos de implicação dos corpos na mudança de atitudes do sujeito em suas relações com o ambiente. As relações entre sociedade e ecologia são estudadas na análise dos programas de desenvolvimento sustentável em execução no âmbito da UNILUZ, em diálogo com as formulações teóricas advindas da chamada “ecologia profunda”

Mapeamento geológico, caracterização litoquímica e potencial econômico do corpo de cromitito de Cedrolina, Santa Terezinha de Goiás - GO

Studies of mafic-ultramafic bodies have been carried out through the years due to their great use on the interpretation of geochemical and geotectonic processes that took place in Earth's history. Amongst them, chromitites are notably recognized for being excellent indicators of their parental magma chemistry and of different geotectonic environments, as well for frequently containing associated noble metals mineralization. Thus the investigation of one of this ultramafic bodies that occurs inside the Pilar de Goiás Greenstone Belt was proposed, resulting in a detailed map of the chromitites and country rocks, as well as innumerous new data on the chemistry of chromite and associated matrix and accessory minerals. These studies were based upon geological field observations, optic and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), besides electron microprobe and cathodoluminescence analysis performed at the “Eugen F. Stumpfl Laboratory” of the Montanuniversität Institute of Resource Mineralogy, University of Leoben - Leoben, Austria. The chromitites are composed of 40-70% in volume of chromite (~50% on average), 14-55% of talc (~30% on average), 3-60% of chromium rich chlorite (~20% on average), traces to 4% of iron hydroxides and traces to 3% of rutile (1,5% on average). The chromite occurs as large spherical aggregates or as fine grained subhedral crystals disseminated in the matrix. This aggregates have diameters of 0.3-1.5 cm (1 cm on average) and are extremely well rounded, massive to intensively fractured, and commonly deformed to ellipsoids. When observed under the microscope, these aggregates show well rounded to slightly irregular borders, but on their interiors, these structures are represented by fine to medium grained euhedral to subhedral chromite crystals that have sharp contacts between themselves. Dinâmica de rotação de exoplanetas tipo terrestre com perturbação de terceiro corpo

In this work we study some topics of Celestial Mechanics, namely the problem of rigid body rotation and “spin-orbit” resonances. Emphasis is placed on the problem formulation and applications to some exoplanets with physical parameters (e.g. mass and radius) compatible with a terrestrial type constitution (e.g. rock) belonging to multiple planetary systems. The approach is both analytical and numerical. The analytical part consists of: i) the deduction of the equation of motion for the rotation problem of a spherical body with no symmetry, disturbed by a central body; ii) modeling the same problem by including a third-body in the planet-star system; iii) formulation of the concept of “spin-orbit” resonance in which the orbital period of the planet is an integer multiple of the rotation’s period. Topics of dynamical systems (e.g. equilibrium points, chaos, surface sections, etc.) will be included at this stage. In the numerical part simulations are performed with numerical models developed in the previous analytical section. As a first step we consider the orbit of the planet not perturbed by a third-body in the star-planet system. In this case the eccentricity and orbital semi-major axis of the planet are constants. Here the technique of surface sections, widely used in dynamical systems are applied. Next, we consider the action of a third body, developing a more realistic model for planetary rotation. The results in both cases are compared. Since the technique of disturbed surface sections is no longer applicable, we quantitatively evaluate the evolution of the characteristic angles of rotation (e.g. physical libration) by studying the evolution of individual orbits in the dynamically important regions of phase space, the latter obtained in the undisturbed case

Imagens para des-focar: possibilidades de infâncias outras

No contexto de meu envolvimento em três projetos de pesquisa, que objetiva uma reflexão em torno dos processos de produção imagética de/e com crianças, muitas questões no tocante aos modos de conceber a infância aparecem. A criança, pelas imagens, nos apresentam um mundo recortado por olhares rápidos, que produzem imagens nem sempre exatas e nítidas, sendo assim, no percurso das pesquisas, há imagens que chamam atenção por aquilo que nelas pode ser diferente, produzindo outros sentidos, sentidos outros. No contexto de produção de diversas imagens realizadas pelas crianças envolvidas na pesquisa, este trabalho objetiva refletir sobre o conceito de infância, partindo do que emerge das imagens que aqui chamaremos de „imagens desfocadas‟. Para um fotógrafo criar uma imagem com a intensidade de movimento apresentada nas „imagens desfocadas‟ das crianças, existem inúmeras técnicas: câmeras especializadas, photoshops. Apesar disto, o que verificamos com as crianças, é que estas só precisaram do movimento do corpo, do clicar do botão e o desejo de brincar para produzir tais imagens. Pensando nessa questão, vemos que, ao passo que a sociedade nos molda, vamos nos “desinfantilizando” e perdemos a “capacidade” de nos movimentar a ponto de apropriar-nos de recursos tecnológicos para substituir o que poderíamos fazer no movimentodo corpo. Neste contexto, conjeturar os conceitos de infância a partir dessas imagens desfocadas,pode criar caminhos para pensar possibilidades de uma educação do olhar e a necessidade de uma pedagogia menor, ”infantilizada”

Corpo e cultura: culto ao corpo e vigorexia

Currently the company suffers a heavy influence of media, through their tentacles people are reached and clawed into a consumerist context, and the reason for the success of this market share is linked to aesthetics. An ideal beauty standard is followed, aimed at recognizing social, emotional success, professional and loving. Thus, people are accustomed from his childhood with the image of a perfect prince or princess, heroes that is becoming increasingly more muscular and developed throughout the evolution of cinema. While the aesthetic perfection is internalized by society and see that this beauty is not a particular good for some people, but everyone should become pretty standard to suit hence those who do not fit this stereotype are somehow excluded from the circle of society standard. One way people try to develop and hone the look is through weight training exercises in specialized academies. The problem is when it appears not the contentment of the individual in relation to his body. Even when your muscles are increasing, for the person who suffers from Vigorexia changes are significant to the point never to be content with their state of development, which is seen distorted and underestimated. Thus this paper aims to describe the situation and how the routine Vigorexia context and people are distorted to suit the aesthetic and social demands that are made, through a literature search on the muscle dysmorphia. It is of paramount importance to know the pathological picture of Vigorexia not only by professionals of Psychology, Psychiatry and Medicine, but also for Physical Educators that are constantly present in an active and that can positively or negatively influence the routine and pathological picture of these people with Muscular Dysmorphia

Quando o lírico e o narrativo se encontram em Nuno Júdice

Nuno Judice’poetry has a peculiar discourse, whose devices of construction mixe poetry and prose in order to eliminate the borders between the two kinds of language. The Classical tradition is a constant reference in his poetry, by means of the imagery and the allegory in which some Greek myths are mentioned. Nevertheless, the context of modernity from which the poet Nuno Judice emerges put together the dimensions of space and time so as it is impossible to separate them. In this paper we analyse two poems extracted from the book As Regras da Perspectiva (1990) and our purpose is to discuss some literary questions as the metalanguage, the sensations, the lyric subjectivity, the narrative trends, the special meanings and the forms of the world.

O espaço das ordens de um corpo

O objetivo deste trabalho é exibir corpos com infinitas ordens e exibir uma estrutura topológica ao conjunto das ordens de um corpo. Como cada ordem em um corpo está associada de modo único a um subgrupo de índice dois do grupo multiplicativo do corpo, ela fica associada, de modo natural, com uma funç˜ao de F \ {0} em {±1}, (onde F é o corpo em quest˜ao). Assim uma ordem é um elemento do produto cartesiano Πx∈F˙ {±1}x. Usando a topologia produto, será provado que o conjunto das ordens é um espaço booleano, isto é, um espaço topológico de Hausdorff, compacto e totalmente desconexo.

Estudo do aumento no diâmetro do corpo de um rebite a ser cravado em furos acima da tolerância de projeto

In this work are discussed the main types of rivets, their characteristics and applicability within the Aeronautical Industry branch. Here are highlighted the solid rivets, showing off its layout, forms and limits of installation, that are required by aviation regulators. The riveting is a popular and simple procedure of fixing and joining two or more parts, and like any other manufacturing process is subject to process deviations that in some situations are beyond the limits of tolerance. One of these deviations is when the hole diameter exceeds the one proposed in project and which is limited by the rule of edge distance. The overall objective here is to study a possible solution to this problem: the installation of a rivet that has his diameter previously increased by compression. Observe the hole filling after riveting, detect the presence of cracks, discover the yield curve of the fasteners and their the crushing limits for failure prediction are tools used to verify this proposal. They demonstrate, at the end of study, the inefficiency of this procedure, with results that go against the safe fixing of parts in a structure
