O estudo foi realizado numa área degradada pertencente ao campus da UNESP em Rio Claro, e teve como objetivo avaliar a eficiência do método de nucleação para recuperação de áreas degradadas do tipo “transposição de galharia” na atração de fauna. As pilhas de galhos podem funcionar como abrigos artificiais, atraindo potenciais dispersores de sementes secundários, o que potencialmente abreviaria o processo de regeneração de um ambiente degradado. O estudo foi feito através do levantamento de pequenos mamíferos por armadilhas de interceptação e queda em quatro parcelas de 2500 m², sendo duas delas com o tratamento (pilhas de galhos), e duas funcionando como controle, e o resultado esperado seria uma maior quantidade de indivíduos capturados e de gêneros taxonômicos nas parcelas com o tratamento. Entretanto, as quantidades totais de indivíduos capturados no bloco das parcelas com tratamento e no bloco das parcelas controle foram, segundo o teste de Mann-Whitman, estatisticamente idênticos. Também a quantidade de gêneros taxonômicos capturados foi igual nos dois blocos. Desta forma, concluímos que o método “transposição de galharia” foi ineficiente neste estudo, da forma como foi empregado, não contribuindo para um aumento na fauna de pequenos roedores e marsupiais. O método pode ter fracassado devido a pequena quantidade de pilhas de galhos utilizados para o tamanho da área, como também pelo recobrimento da área por uma grande quantidade de gramíneas, que podem ter funcionado por si só como abrigo para os animais capturados, além de poderinibir a entrada de outros gêneros de pequenos mamíferos não-voadores. Sugerimos portanto, para o método ser mais eficiente, a colocação de uma maior quantidade de pilhas de galhos do que a utilizada no presente estudo, e elas devem ser maiores. The aim of this paper is to present the results of a research in the area of Discourse Analysis, to describe discourses found in the media about the identities constructed in the Second Life virtual communities network and, to find out what discursive strategies are produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” hosted in the Twitter micro-blogging as an attempt to have a significant number of logfiles and to discover what leads men, women and, teenagers to participate of this “fashion in the soap operas” interaction. Our corpus consists of printed media reportings that present users of Second Life and its avatars with a proposal of new identities, including the utterances produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” and their respective followers. The analysis of the reports and discourses are based on the work by Michel Pêcheux and Michel Foucault. The analysis have shown that the new identities, created in virtual communities network and, the profile of the followers of “fashion in the soap operas”, hosted in Twitter, are characteristically contemporary sensibilities, who take part in the truth games and in the social pressing experimented nowadays

In regards to the context of the schooling for less the most favored, the school did not appear as intellectual instrument, and yes as prerequisite to take care of to the new requirements of the work market that if modernized the great social changes together with. The school, in turn, if puts in charge them to know scientific, and, for times, them norms of effective behavior in the society and the familiar group, them feelings and moral values, in a transposition of the “cultural capital” and it “capital stock” that passed by generations. This work, therefore, had as objective to study the expectations of schooling of the child in pertaining to school age, in the universes of the family and the school, from the speech of the agents of this process (parents, responsible, professors and the children) and of some practical educative referring to the schooling of the child, leaving of estimated of that the school is a democratic space, with equality of rights and the duties. Mediated for cultural a historical boarding, one searched to interpret the pertaining to school and familiar context of the participants, by means of a counterpoint with the studied bibliography, being this presented throughout the work. The research was of qualitative character, the data had been collected by means of comment in two classrooms, one of the third and one of the room year. Half-structuralized interviews had been made, that had been recorded e, later, transcribing. The environment of the research was a public school of the basic education of a city of the interior of the State of São Paulo, that received children proceeding from families of the urban popular classrooms. The results of the analysis of the data point that the professors present a vision of ideal model of family and pupil that does not correspond to the reality of the context of these and of the new nomenclatures of the familiar order... A etologia é um ramo da zoologia que estuda o comportamento animal, que em linhas gerais, trata-se da reação do animal a estímulos tanto internos como externos. Esse comportamento pode ser oriundo de um padrão pré-estabelecido na espécie, sendo inato, classificado como um “padrão fixo de ação” (P.F.A.) ou pode ser um conjunto de respostas adquiridas. Nesse caso, trata-se de um comportamento aprendido ao longo da vida do animal, por conta própria ou transmitido de indivíduo para indivíduo, diante das experiências e interações com o ambiente. Uma das definições consiste na mudança adaptativa do comportamento manifestada após experiências adquiridas. Existem várias formas pelas quais os animais podem aprender, como por exemplo, imitação, “insight”, tentativa de acerto e erro. Diante do exposto, o trabalho focará na aprendizagem do grupo de primatas classificado como os grandes símios: Orangotangos, Gorilas, Chipanzés e Bonobos. O objetivo é fazer um levantamento dos tipos de estudo existentes que buscaram ampliar o conhecimento acerca desse tipo de comportamento dos grandes símios: aprendizagem. Abordadas algumas ferramentas e a forma como são utilizadas. Será feito também um breve relato sobre a possível existência de cultura entre os grandes símios, além de aplicações atuais e práticas dos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo dos anos

This research aims to identify elements that show how management influences and is present in modern Brazilian soccer, the competition and rivalry between the soccer teams, especially in the state of São Paulo, have increased considerably and consequently causing the search for efficiency to advance even more. The research was based on how close a relationship between management and soccer could influence it. Is the management so significant for the outcome of soccer match? The clubs with the best results are always those who apply best management models? Data that enabled the determination of financial indicators was collected from those who are considered the four major clubs in the state of São Paulo (SC Corinthians Paulista, SE Palmeiras, Santos FC and São Paulo FC ). With the data, the indicators and events that occurred with the clubs in the period 2010-2012, it was possible to demonstrate the influence of management in soccer, both good and bad, and see that even with the immediate results that soccer requires, managers should invest in some long-term measures to improve the structure of the clubs they represent

As the market expands, especially about construction, further treatments were required on the development of a building. This fact is noted due to the need to satisfy the client each time more, which requires more quality in the product final delivery. Therefore, the competition between companies grows every day to the effective and efficient production of their final products. This work shows negative factors that have influence in the product final delivery and consequently presents methods to improove the quality of this product. This study is characterized in management methods that are wrongly applied to the study of case of this work, which took place in the city of Guarulhos and was carried out during a work conducted by a large construction company

The oral and oropharyngeal cancer is aggressive and, in Brazil, the incidence is considered one of the world’s tallest, the most common of head and neck. It affects males more intensively and 70% of cases are in adults over 50 years of age. It is located usually on the floor of the mouth and tongue. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to report a case of male patient, 78 years of age, leukoderma who sought hospital care. Reported frequent smoking and alcoholism. On physical examination headgear, there was the presence of lymph node fixed, painless 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter in the submandibular region. Physical examination intraoral ulcer was found at about 5 cm at its greatest extent, localized to the left oral floor region of the oropharynx, reddish, hardened edges, surface and bottom corrugated carton. The differential diagnosis suggested was traumatic ulcer, paracoccidioidomycosis and squamous cell carcinoma. The approach employed was obtained by incisional biopsy and the piece sent to histopathological analysis, confirming the case of squamous cell carcinoma. The treatment consisted in clarifying the patient about the disease and the need to search for an oncology center. It is concluded that the oral clinical examination is accurate in all major injuries to mouth, even if the chief complaint does not focus on this. In individuals at high risk examination should be systematic and individuals with suspicious lesions should be referred to specialist consultation.
