Jean-Jacques Rousseau: por uma ética das virtudes

No âmbito da discussão filosófica sobre a moral, é possível perceber, nas últimas três décadas, um novo interesse pela denominada ética das virtudes. A ética das virtudes diz respeito a uma longa tradição de investigação moral que tem no conceito de virtudes, por oposição aos conceitos de leis, princípios, ou direitos, uma de suas ideias mais fundamentais. O objetivo desta dissertação de mestrado é elucidar de que forma o pensamento político e moral de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, ainda no contexto do Iluminismo, preserva os argumentos centrais da tradição da ética das virtudes. Embora Alasdair MacIntyre tenha contribuído bastante para o ressurgimento do interesse filosófico pela ética das virtudes, mostro nesta dissertação que as críticas que ele dirige de maneira generalizada ao Iluminismo não se aplicam de modo inteiramente adequado à posição que Rousseau efetivamente defende em seus escritos filosóficos. A obra de Rousseau é bastante vasta e, ao considerarmos alguns textos isoladamente, os argumentos que Rousseau apresenta parecem pouco sistemáticos. No entanto, como mostro na presente dissertação, ao analisarmos a obra de Rousseau como todo, fica bastante claro o quão a filosofia moral de Rousseau permanece fundamentalmente uma investigação sobre virtudes.

Eléments nutritifs et production primaire dans les lagunes du Côte d'Ivoire : cycle annuel

This paper collects most of the information gathered between October 1974 and July 1976 within the framework of a research program concerning the hydrobioclimate of ivorian lagoons and especially the Ebrié lagoon. Monthly surveys concerning the latter were carried out during 1975. The following parameters - and their vertical distribution wherever it had a meaning - were systematically gathered in a system of fifty-five stations: Transparency (Secchi), Temperature, Salinity, Chlorophylla, Dissolved oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite. These data provide an outline of the annual cycle of nutrients and primary production of the Ivoirian lagoons

Variation saisonniere des structures hydrologique et dynamique du plateau continental ivoirien (VASPI I, II, III)

This data report contains all the meteorological, hydrological and dynamic data gathered during the VASPI cruises (I : from December 8th to December 13th 1982, II : from March 5th to March 9th 1983, and III : from October 6th to October 10th 1983) carried out along the continental shelf of Ivory Coast by the oceanographic ship "Andre NIZERY". These cruises, which represent a part of a coastal programme, are included in the more general scientific program FOCAL, whose main scientific objective is the study of the thermal context of the intertropical atlantic area.

A importância da solidão no Zaratrusta de Nietzsche

Esta dissertação tem o objetivo de analisar a importância da solidão em Assim falou aratustra. Entretanto, para isso, abordamos a questão do método genealógico como crítica aos valores morais, em A genealogia da moral. Também estudamos o problema da moralidade e da consciência a partir da crítica genealógica de Nietzsche, com o intuito de analisar as relações entre solidão e imoralismo. Outrossim, analisamos como a solidão é o estilo do caráter, com o qual alguém se torna o que se é, representada por Zaratustra. A solidão é, portanto, o estilo de Zaratustra como aquele que afirma a transitoriedade e a contraditoriedade na luta de forças. Tal é o estilo daquele que assume a vida como vontade de potência, ou seja, vontade de assimilação, de expansão e apropriação do que é estranho. Entretanto, a vontade é entendida como movimento de expansão das forças. Ela não é apenas um desejo, mas é a propensão das forças em constante batalha. Tal movimento, que é a vontade, ora produz o niilismo, que nega a existência, ora demanda na afirmação da vida. Nesse caso, Zaratustra é a personagem que dá estilo ao seu caráter porque afirma a vida como vontade de potência, como um jogo entre composições de forças posicionais, perspectivas.

Stations cotieres et station hydrologique cotiere d'Abidjan: annees 1980-1981

Beach surface temperature is recorded every morning between 7h30 and 8h00 at each coastal station. On figure 2, 3, 4 and 5 it has been plotted daily variation and mean variation computed on 7, 15 and 30 days basis of sea surface temperature. However it seems that variations of dynamic height anomaly are reflecting more accurately the stages of the coastal upwelling than the sea surface temperature.

Observations de la temperature et des courants sur le plateau continental ivoirien

The Centre de Recherches Océanographiques d'Abidjan has carried out the HYDROBIOCLIMAT program in order to study the seasonal and interannual fluctuations of the physical and biological parameters over the continental shelf of Ivory Coast ; two subsurface moorings with from one to three AANDERAA current meters fixed on the lines, were deployed in front of Abidjan and San Pedro. Temperature and current measurement records are presented at these two locations.

La pêche artisanale en lagune Aby (Côte d'Ivoire): analyse des captures en 1988 et 1989

The exploitation of fish stocks in Aby lagoon was marked by an increase of total fishing effort, yields and therefore by the increase of total production. Fishing effort evolution was due to: the increasing of the number of beach seines which has increased from 26 in 1987 to 32 in 1988, the reappearance of syndicat seines and finally the importance of fishing teams activity.

Lagune de Biétri: bathymétrie, courants et taux de renouvellement des eaux

An estimation of the currents in the Biétri bay is given (tidal currents and currents due to the wind). They are lower than 10 cm.s-1 in the whole lagoon, and near of 5 cm.s-1 in the eastern part. The measures of salinity and tidal observations give the average rate of water renewal, respectively 0.20 and 0.14 d-1 in the central and eastern areas.
