Naturalització d’estanys artificials a zones urbanes a tavés de plantes macròfites aquàtiques

L’objectiu és fer una proposta alternativa en la gestió dels estanys urbans artificials a la província de Barcelona per tal de disminuir l’alt cost de manteniment actual. Els tractaments habituals en la gestió d’estanys urbans són insostenibles tant ecològicament com econòmicament. Concretament es fa un estudi de naturalització d’estanys urbans de Barcelona mitjançant l’ús de les plantes macròfites aquàtiques de la regió, per tal de substituir els tractaments habituals que es fan a piscines públiques per tractaments similars als de les piscines naturals

Implantació d'una xarxa de telecomunicacions a Catalunya

Aquest projecte està centrat a analitzar els diferents escenaris i tecnologies per a proveir Internet i serveis de connectivitat entre ciutats internacionals (Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, Girona i Milà). Així es defineixen tres tipus de xarxes dissenyades per a satisfer els requisits dels nostres clients. Aquests clients són usuaris residencials i petites empreses, hospitals icompanyies d'assegurances internacionals. Tots ells requereixen de diferentample de banda, seguretat i tecnologies, per a cadascun d'ells, s'ha desenvolupat un anàlisi extens que detalla la xarxa lògica i física.Finalment, hem realitzat una simulació per ordinador utilitzant OPNET amb elpropòsit d'avaluar la xarxa física dissenyada prèviament. Els resultats obtinguts van ser presentats i analitzats.

Anàlisi geomètrica del Diaclasat de les Guilleries en el sector de la Vall del Ter entre els embassaments del Pasteral i Susqueda (Girona)

The Guilleries are a small and mountainous area located in the north-westem part of the Catalonian Coastal Ranges where metamorphic and igneous Paleozoic rocks are exposed. After the main hercynian folding this area was affected by a brittle deformation that is mainly manifested by the intrusion of a very large number of dykes of granodiorite and the development of a complex joint system. Trends of dykes indicate that their intrusion was related to a SE-NW extension, whose estimated value is 40% on an average. This extension seems to stand, although without any associated igneous event, with the development of NE-SW directed joints which make the main set. Five families more were developed later, onegently-dipping and fou upright; the latter trending roughly SE-NW, ENE-WSW, ESE-WNW and N-S. AU the joint sets appear in the metasedimentary Paleozoic rocks and in the hercynian intrusive bodies. Concerning the ages, joints that belong to the NE-SW and SE-NW directed sets and also those slightly dipping have been attributed to the late-hercynian times and all the other are considered to be later

The depth of the water table and the clay content are determinant factors for the exploitability of natural aggregates, such as the alluvial sands and gravels found on the fluvial domain of the Ter River. In this preliminary study, carried out in the Celri basin, we conclude that these variables can be determined by means of geophysical methods and recornmends the use of such methods in studies of regional character

Morfolitología de las terrazas del Ter en Girona

It is a contribution to the study of the terraces of the river Ter along its mid-course in the town of Girona, since that is the last speace where it is still possible to observe four of these terraces with clear characteristics of climatical deposition. Itsmorphological peculiarities are described as well as the morphometrical and lithological parameters of its pebbles. These terraces are compared with others which have been studied in other areas of the regions and conclusions are drawn concerning deposition, source àrea and chronology
