Traços míticos e arquetípicos em personagens femininas de Guimarães Rosa

Dans l‟“A historia de Lina et Lélio, le troisième récit de Corpo de baile, l‟oeuvre de Guimarães Rosa, Lélio arrive à la ferme Pinhém à la recherche de l'amour, de la paix d'esprit et de l'auto-connaissance, mais il n'a pas la claire conscience de cela. Dans cette trajectoire, on peut voir le poids des femmes: bien que Lélio soit le protagoniste de cette histoire, les personnages féminins présentent des différents profils et sont construites sur des aspects mythiques et archétypiques, qui ont des influences directes sur le destin de ce personnage masculin. On cherche, donc, comprendre comment l‟auteur fait la caractérisation mythique et archétypique des personnages féminins, voir l'influence de celles-ci sur la suite du récit ainsi que dans la construction du protagoniste. De la même façon, on veut vérifier comment les autres catégories du récit – telles que le temps, l'espace, le narrateur et la focalisation – peuvent contribuer à cette caractérisation. Cette recherche est développée à travers des lectures, des notes et des discussions autour du corpus, en s'appuyant sur une base théorique déterminée en trois dimensions : a) des essais critiques à propos de l‟oeuvre de l'auteur, en particulier au sujet en cause, comme celui dans l‟A raiz da alma, de Heloisa Vilhena Araujo, b) des études sur le mythe, comme celles de Ernest Cassirer, dans le Linguagem e mito et Antropologia filosófica, et les propositions de Meletínski dans l‟A poética do mito et dans l‟Os arquétipos literários et, encore, c) des textes théoriques sur les catégories du récit, présentées dans le Dicionário de teoria da narrativa, de Reis et Lopes, et des études sur l'espace, comme celui d'Antonio Dimas, Espaço e romance, et sur le temps, de Benedito Nunes, O tempo na narrativa. In this article, we aim at analysing, from the perspective of greimasian semiotic theory, how the actor contemporary woman is built in three advertisements published in the magazine VOCÊ S/A in editions of years 2001, 2004 and 2011. Although we have chosen to organize the analysis in that order, the issue of time is not the focus of our work. Our focus in this work will be on the thematic roles of wife, mother, housewife, professional and “woman”, played by the actor who, entering in conjunction with the advertised objects, can be a fulfilled wife/mother and a successful professional or, even, can be “more woman”.

Magazines such as O Cruzeiro are part of the Brazilian collection. In its pages, the female presence is constant. From the concepts of Greimas’ way of life and happening and routine from Zilberberg, we analyse a photoreport which highlights the actress Ilka Soares, comparing her to texts of the session “To the woman”. The analysis of such texts lets us verify the behaviour of a distinguished professional which is different from the traditional model of the housewife of the fifties. Reconstitute the ways of life of these women is to make up for the memory of the country

Mulheres em destaque nos anos 40: o acontecimento como forma de vida na revista O Cruzeiro

From the concepts of way of life by Greimas (1993) and of happening by Zilberberg (2008), we analyze texts taken from O Cruzeiro magazine, which highlights the singer Linda Batista, comparing her to others from the column “Female matters”, by Maria Teresa, love consultant of the women who read the publication. The analysis of such texts lets us verify the behaviour of a woman in distinction that identifies herself with a female profile of a professional who is configured in a style that can be recognized as a modern way of life, different from the model of a traditional way of a housewife in the forties.

Based on Clovis Bevilaqua’s four biographies which present three stigmas of the character - being the son of a priest, engaged in a large grammatical legal controversy with Rui Barbosa in making the Civil Code of 1917 and married to a wife of exotic modes - we discuss the built memory of Amelia Carolina Freitas Bevilaqua, who is marked as a pioneer of the feminist movement in Brazil and also upstart writer who aspired to join the Brazilian Academy of Letters. Among other negative adjectives, she was sloppy, not vain and misaligned in dress, futile or adulterous.

Postural Control in Older Patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness of a canalith-repositioning procedure in postural control of older patients with idiopathic benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Study Design. Prospective clinical trial. Setting. A tertiary referral center. Methods. A 9-month follow-up survey with a prospective design was conducted among 33 older patients with BPPV. Patients underwent static posturography (Balance Rehabilitation Unit [BRU]) and were administered the Dizziness Handicap Inventory (DHI) before and after the maneuver. After the treatment, they were compared with 33 healthy older subjects. The posturography parameters were the limit of stability (LOS), the center of body-pressure area (COP), and the velocity of oscillation (VOS) under conditions of visual, somatosensory, and visual-vestibular conflict. Results. One canalith-repositioning procedure relieved most patients' complaints (54.5%), and 100% were relieved with 1 to 3 maneuvers. Total DHI score and all subscales improved after treatment (P < .01). The LOS values pretreatment (mean [SD] 134.27 [55.32] cm(2)) and posttreatment (181.03 [47.79] cm(2)) were significantly different (P < .01). Comparative analysis of COP values showed a relevant statistical difference in 8 of 10 postmaneuver conditions (P < .01). The postmaneuver VOS showed a significant difference under 7 conflict conditions. There were no differences between the healthy older subjects and treated patients for all VOS values under all conditions and for COP values under 9 conditions. Conclusion. The canalith-repositioning procedure promotes remission of symptoms, an increase in LOS, and improvement in postural control under conditions of somatosensory and visual conflict and visual-vestibular interaction.

Seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis, toxocariasis and cysticercosis in a rural settlement, São Paulo State, Brazil.

Background: The goal of this study was to estimate the seroprevalence of Toxocara spp., Toxoplasma gondii, and Taenia solium metacestode infection and determine some of the associated risk factors for people living in the Dona Carmen settlement, Pontal of Paranapanema, São Paulo, Brazil. Methods: Serum samples from 194 subjects were tested and participants answered a questionnaire. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) system based on Toxocara spp. excretory-secretory antigens obtained from the cultured second-stage larvae of Toxocara canis or vesicular fluid (VF) antigen from Taenia crassiceps metacestode was used to detect anti-Toxocara spp. IgG and IgE and anti-T. solium metacestode, respectively. For cysticercosis, the reactive ELISA samples were assayed by Western blotting using 18 kDa and 14 kDa proteins purified from VF. For T. gondii-specific IgG and IgM antibodies, anti-SAG-1, GRA-1, and GRA-7 epitope specificity was determined by ELISA. Results: Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies were found in 102/194 individuals (52.6%) with increased infections in females (P=0.02) and those with US$ ≤ 300monthly income (P=0.01). Positive IgM antibodies were detected in 21/194 individuals (10.8%). Antibodies specific to Toxocara spp. were found in 28/194 subjects (14.4%). All the individuals with Toxocara spp. also had T. gondii-specific IgG antibodies. Taenia solium metacestode antibodies were detected in 11 subjects (5.7%), but none were reactive based on Western blotting. Conclusion: In spite of environmental, educational, and socioeconomic factors favoring parasite infection, the seropositivity rates of T. gondii, Toxocara spp., and T. solium metacestode-specific IgG antibodies are similar to the rates found in studies conducted in different populations in Brazil.

La distribuzione del potere tra le Istituzioni Europee e la procedura di co-decisione. Il caso della riforma della Politica Agricola Comune

Questa ricerca analizza le implicazioni derivanti dall’introduzione della procedura di co-decisione come procedura legislativa ordinaria nel processo di riforma della politica agricola comune. La diversa distribuzione dei poteri tra le istituzioni europee modifica gli assetti istituzionali e fornisce al Parlamento il ruolo di colegislatore in materia agricola. La forma assunta dalla nuova politica agricola europea scaturisce dalla configurazione dei poteri di contrattazione che ciascun attore ha mostrato nella sede dei triloghi negoziali. La ricerca tenta di verificare la accuratezza predittiva di diversi modelli di contrattazione legislativa attraverso il confronto e la verifica degli errori di predizione sui risultati finali di alcune questioni salienti della riforma della Politica Agricola Comune e allo stesso tempo, cerca di identificare il peso del potere del Parlamento europeo in veste di co-legislatore nel processo di riforma della PAC post-2013.

Differenti approcci all'evoluzione di internet

Poiché internet interconnette miliardi di terminali on-line per fornire informazioni sempre più sofisticate, le infrastrutture dovranno essere sufficientemente "intelligenti" per gestire in tempo reale un enorme flusso di dati. Esistono due possibili approcci per sviluppare la nuova architettura, conosciuti come clean-state (PURSUIT e NetInf) ed overlay (DONA e NDN): con il primo metodo è necessario riprogettare l'intero stack protocollare mentre il secondo consente di creare un'infrastruttura avvalendosi delle funzionalità di una rete IP.

Elasticity in Cloud Computing: Tecnologia e applicazione aziendale presso Onit

Il Cloud Computing permette di utilizzare al meglio le risorse distribuite allo scopo di risolvere problemi di computazione su larga scala, e viene distribuito dai provider all'utente finale sotto forma di servizio. Presentati i diversi modelli di distribuzione dei servizi Cloud, si discutono le varie tipologie di servizi offerti. Efficaci meccanismi di elasticità e scalabilità hanno permesso al Cloud Computing di superare lo scoglio iniziale di utilizzo medio dei server al 10%. L'elasticità (rapid elasticity) è l’abilità di acquisire e rilasciare le risorse di un'infrastruttura Cloud su richiesta, l’abilità di un'applicazione di cambiare le sue dimensione durante il suo tempo di esecuzione; la scalabilità è un prerequisito per ottenere una buona elasticità per il sistema, ed è l'abilità che ha un layer di sostenere carichi di lavoro variabili continuando ad adempiere agli obblighi imposti dallo SLA allocando o disallocando risorse computazionali. Le diverse modalità di scaling e il loro utilizzo determinano la scalabilità e di conseguenza l'elasticità del sistema, e sfruttano la virtualizzazione per poter funzionare. Ciò ha portato notevoli benefici perchè aumenta l'utilizzo dei server, migliora l'efficienza del sistema, e dona flessibilità in caso di errori massimizzando il tempo di funzionamento. Sono stati introdotti due esempi di sistemi elastici basati ovviamente sulla virtualizzazione come Amazon Web Services e Microsoft Azure, che dominano il mercato del Cloud Computing e fanno uso dei più efficenti meccanismi d'elasticità. Il cuore di questo elaborato è l'analisi dell'ampliamento dell'adozione del Cloud Computing in azienda Onit Group srl. L'obiettivo è trattare i punti fondamentali per il Cloud Computing, analizzarli e immagazzinare tutte queste conoscenze per analizzare lo stato attuale del Cloud nell'azienda focalizzando l'attenzione sui vantaggi e sugli svantaggi che un sostanziale ampliamento dell'adozione ai sistemi Cloud poteva apportare.
