3D multi-car tracking based on monocular video

We propose a system that can reliably track multiple cars in congested traffic environments. Our system's key basis is the implementation of a sequential Monte Carlo algorithm, which introduces robustness against problems arising due to the proximity between vehicles. By directly modelling occlusions and collisions between cars we obtain promising results on an urban traffic dataset. Extensions to this initial framework are also suggested. © 2010 IEEE.

腾冲马和新丽江马品种内的遗传变异显著高于文山马和乌蒙马,遗传变异68.06%存在于群体内。系统聚类图中品种内大多数个体聚在一起,文山马和乌蒙马聚成一个大类,腾冲马和新丽江马又聚成一个大类,说明文山马和乌蒙马以及腾冲马和新丽江马有较近的亲缘关系。

中国5种珍稀绢蝶非损伤性取样的mtDNA序列及系统进化

应用非损伤性取样DNA测序技术测定了4种来自云南白马雪山和1种来自新疆天山的5种珍稀绢蝶的线粒体DNA细胞色素b基因部分DNA序列。PAUP3.1.1(简约法)数据分析软件构建该5个种绢蝶的分子系统树显示,爱珂绢蝶(Parnassius acco)和巴裔绢蝶(Parnassius baileyi)的亲缘关系比较接近,阿波罗绢蝶(Parnassius apollo)、珍珠绢蝶(Parnassius orlears)和西猴绢蝶(Parnassius simo)3种绢蝶均为相对独立的一支,其中西猴绢蝶分化较早,与形态学研究结果相吻合。

A new procedure for canning of squids

A new canning procedure for squid mantles aimed at increasing the fill and retaining the sweet flavour of squids was evolved. In the new method, after blanching smaller mantles are inserted inside bigger ones to reduce voids and thus increase the fill to 56% and above as compared to 46% when packed as rings. In addition, spent blanching medium containing desirable flavour constituents of squid was modified and used as covering medium which increased the flavour of canned product.

Besides traditional smoked shrimp, attempt had been made to produce smoked shrimp from brown shrimp, Metapenaeus monoceros and fish from mugil, Liza parsia and the quality of smoked product was found good very on the basis of physical properties, proximate composition and mineral contents of the products.

长期注射吗啡对戒断后小鼠Y－迷宫空间识别记忆的影响

使用急性成瘾性药物会影响大脑功能,随着药物使用时间的延长,这种影响更加广泛、持久,并且在药物成断后的很长时间内依然存在.实验表明,急性及短期吗啡给予小鼠和戒断均损伤了其Y迷宫空间识别记忆能力,但这种损伤短暂且可逆.本实验小鼠被连续注射吗啡(40mg/kg·day,i p)或生理盐水21天,利用Y迷宫来检测长期吗啡给予后在戒断第2、9和19天,吗啡对小鼠空间识别记忆的影响.结果表明,连续吗啡给予21天后,在戒断第2、9和19天,小鼠Y迷宫空识别记忆能力均受到损伤,提示长期给予小鼠吗啡会导致其空间识别记忆能力的长期损伤.

The biology, ecology and impact of the Nile perch, Lates niloticus in lakes Victoria, Kyoga and Nabugabo and the future of the fisheries

Nile perch (Mputa), Lates niloticus was introduced into Lakes Victoria and Kyoga from lake Albert to increase fish production of these lakes by feeding on and converting the small sized haplochromines (Nkejje) which were abundant in these lakes into a larger table fish. It was, however, feared that Nile perch would prey on and deplete stocks of the native fishes and affect fish species diversity. Nile perch became well established and is currently among the three most important commercial species. It is presently the most important export fish commodity from Uganda. Considerable changes have taken place in fishery yield, and in life history characteristics of the Nile perch itself since the predator got established in Lakes Victoria and Kyoga.
