This work discuss about the transformation of public space, based on the recent challenges imposed by communication practices that are renewed and recopying of the sociocultural contexts of everyday life. The study presents theoretical and empirical reports of regional political blogs. In this issue, it looks for understand the political participation in the Internet space, examining the reconfigurations that accompany social relations and new forms of interaction that are merged in the media scene. The ambience of the study limits comments of readers in two political blogs in Rio Grande do Norte, Território Livre, and Thaisa Galvão. The observation concerns about the democratic participation of citizens in matters of collective interest, during the 2010 election. The analysis update the debate on democratic discussion and conversation everyday, trying to grasp changes in social practices in virtual platforms. From this perspective, the work restores some conceptual notions that involve the public places, identifying the changes that appear in the virtual and traditional spheres, with the emergence of new places of conversations, from the Internet usage. Are also compared to similarities and differences between the two elements of the analysis. It is possible, therefore, the communication process of the two discursive spaces with ideas from the public sphere, trying to analyze the duality between public, private, and political participation in these virtual places

The radio is just not seen as conveying information, but a media able to establish ways that generate certain direction. We see an inclusion of the listener in the construction of programs, is exposing their life stories, commenting on facts, answering questions, choosing subjects and participating in some form of radio programming. This insertion of the listener in radio programs is generally thought of as a constituent element of the message. This study aims to analyze the participation of the listener and the forms of interaction in the " Debates of the People" that thirty- past two years is the schedule for CBN Fortaleza. The investigation was conducted through observation in studio, interview, transcription, content analysis and association analysis. This is a qualitative and quantitative research while. We found that the listeners of the program had no acceptance of interactive tools such as the Internet and social networks to make their holdings. In clipping analyzed, we noted that the participation of the listener was selected according to their relationship and proximity to the topic discussed. Also detected that the opinion is superior to the listener questions on the topic. The presenter has the function to put the questions in the listener program. Among the public comments are questions and opinions on the subject and speaks of the debaters. O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender os sentidos da experiência de jovens e adultos com a interação social virtual, partindo de suas narrativas. Inspiradas nas ideias de Martin Heidegger, especialmente em seu seminário A Questão da Técnica , refletiremos sobre os modos de ser-com, em tempos de tecnologia, internet, consumo e hipermodernidade, contexto deste estudo, onde as coisas são vivenciadas em seu extremo (hiperconsumo, hipercorpo, hipermercado, hipercartões). Neste cenário, a Internet e as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação estão mediando, cada vez mais o contato do homem com o mundo, reconfigurando a vida em sociedade. Diante disso, apresentamos A Era do Click , em que são possibilitados novos meios de estar com os outros. Este é um estudo qualitativo, baseado na fenomenologia de Heidegger, por ser favorecedora da compreensão dos sentidos da experiência em relação à questão problematizada. Como estratégias de pesquisa foram utilizadas sondagem de campo e entrevistas individuais, inspiradas nas narrativas de Walter Benjamin. Cinco colaboradores relataram suas experiências de ser-com no mundo virtual. A partir de seus relatos foi possível compreender que o espaço virtual se revela como mais um lócus, dentre tantos, no cotidiano do ser do homem, em que emergem diferentes modos de ser-com. Dependendo de sua abertura, a proximidade ou o distanciamento tornam-se relativos, do mesmo modo que o pessoal e o impessoal, o próprio e o impróprio. Além disso, tornou-se claro que, a virtualidade pode ajudar a lidar com a solidão e a angústia temporariamente, da mesma forma que pode tornar-se uma barreira para um contato mais aprofundado e autêntico com os outros. Os colaboradores demonstraram uma atitude de serenidade, um poder dizer sim e não simultaneamente à técnica moderna, além de uma postura de meditar sobre os modos como se conectam. Questionamos as implicações em longo prazo da virtualização do contato, estimulando novos estudos, sob a luz da fenomenologia heideggeriana

The general purpose of the study was the analysis of residents' participation in the program of door-by-door collection of recyclable residuals in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. Even though the conception of such program by municipal managers was basically aimed at providing job opportunities and income for the collectors, the main objective of the investigation was to verify whether residents' participation could be attributed to their environmental commitment. Data collection involved three municipal districts and was performed in three stages, with complementary methodological strategies (observation, questionnaire, and interview), and characterized by selfevaluation, by residents, and hetero-evaluation, by collectors. Social, demographic, situational/contextual, and dispositional data were identified to help in the analysis of residents' adherence to the program. Separating and delivering recyclable residuals was the most frequent type of residents' participation, which demonstrates their low level of appropriation of decisions related to the program, taking part on it as passive agents. Two forms of motivation towards participating in the program were found: environmental and social. Despite the first being more frequent, it was associated to lack of environmental awareness related to the process, which may very well imply a mere reproduction of pro-environmental discourse. Motivation towards social issues was strongly connected to philanthropic forms of help. Knowledge was revealed as na important predictor for participation, as well as social networks, formed by neighbors, relatives and friends. Despite the social emphasis in the design of the program, it is possible to conclude that some residents also perceive its environmental benefits, possibly as consequence of a knowledge originated outside the program. Initiatives of environmental education should be promoted in order to minimize the allegation of lack of knowledge as justification for non-participation. Similarly, actions to put together municipal management and population would be welcome, to promote joint decisions towards sustainable styles of life

The dissertation examines the influence of relationships among actors from Brazilian Tourism Political Network who compose the National Council of Tourism in the drafting of the National Tourism Plans (PNT) - PNTs 2003/2007 and 2007/2010, focusing on two main types of interaction: cooperation and information exchange. Therefore, the study departed from the understanding that the concept of tourism as a human phenomenon is configured as an essential conceptual basis for the development, implementation and analysis of public policies. The application of Network Theory and Social Network Analysis serves as an analytical tool, in addition, the use of concepts of Policy Networks enabled to interpret, in distinct aspects, the social reality of tourism in a more precise and detailed way. The study had a cross-sectional with a longitudinal perspective and case study was adopted, thus enabling to apply the model of social network analysis and qualitative approach. Through the survey conducted, it was found that the drafting process of National Tourism Plans was the result of the interaction of a complex network of actors from public and private initiatives, who compose the National Council of Tourism, and that their power of influence came out simultaneously, but not symmetrically, for both their performance/intervention in the meetings, and the possession of economic and organizational resources. Hence, the establishment of partnerships and information exchanges among the actors were underlying to the PNT drafting process, both in problems perception and insertion in the government agenda, as in making proposals to solve them, thus guiding the construction of large programs and programs contained in both investigated plans.

As pesquisas antropológicas brasileiras podem tratar de forma frequentemente estanque e separada, por um lado, grupos camponeses e, por outro lado, grupos étnicos, quais sejam, ‘índios’, ‘quilombolas’, etc. Contextos e situações que indicam pluralidade identitária costumam ser simplificados em sua caracterização etnográfica e da dimensão multifacetada de relações e redes sociais. Assim, discuto aqui os processos de mobilização étnico-política e de demanda territorial, sem perder de vista os processos de ressignificação cultural e construção identitária que se engendram a partir de um campo semântico da etnicidade. Abordo, então, certas situações étnicas Tremembé (estado do Ceará) que desestabilizam, embaralham e colocam em risco representações antropológicas sobre o ‘camponês’, o ‘regional’ e o ‘indígena
