Educação em saúde bucal na visão de acadêmicos de odontologia

Aim: To analyze dental students' view concerning Oral Health Education. Materials and Methods: The present research, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, addresses aspects related to dental students' understanding of Oral Health Education, the value that they attach to this practice in the school environment, as well as the importance of their participation in these and other activities during their studies in dentistry. Results: Although dental students recognize the importance of Oral Health Education in the school environment,as well as the importance of their own participation within these activities, their perception of "Oral Health Education" is reductionist and focused primarily on the disease. Conclusion: It is well-known that these findings are reflections and consequences of an established context within a university education. It is therefore necessary that these professional educators perform an in-depth rethinking of the dental practice, in an attempt to develop methodologies based on Health Education in their own teaching practices.

Um estudo sobre a intervenção com o professor de educação física para a inclusão educacional do aluno com deficiência visual

It was aimed to identify how the physical education teachers worked to include a student with visual impairment; intervene with the teacher from the identified necessities and assess the intervention. Data were collected in three stages: 1) Weekly monitoring and filming the classes, 2) intervention by the reflection of videos coming from the previous step and suggesting new actions, 3) development of filming for evaluating the intervention. Before the intervention, it was identified that the explanation of the activities happened collectively. It was held the physical help as the first form of instruction, the student with visual impairment participation occurred depending on the company of a classmate who held hands and did the activities together. Along the intervention it was reflected about the structure of the classes, the ways of explanation of the activities and the strategies and the resources to assure an enjoyable participation of students with visual impairments. The training of peer tutors was a strategy used. After the intervention it was identified in the classroom the assistance of the trained peer tutors; the maintenance of oral explanation and demonstration, though, the first way to explanation for the student with visual impairment started to be the oral tip.

Pesquisa em educação ambiental e questões metodológicas: uma discussão coletiva

The Research on Environmental Education Meetings (EPEAs, in Portuguese) include in their schedule the Groups on Research Discussion (GDPs, in Portuguese). These are sessions to discuss and deepen themes considered significant to the research on environmental education but that must also be seen as a moment to gather the participation of researchers who present works related to the GDPs’ themes. The GDP on Methodological Questions happened during the VII EPEA in 2013 and conducted effusive discussions which resulted in the building of some indicators to be used in the research of our field in order to ensure more and more social commitment and scientific competence in the field's maturation process. This article presents part of these discussions with emphasis on those indicators.

Participação de mulheres na gestão esportiva: uma revisão sistemática

During the last decades of the XX century occurred several demographic, cultural and social changes that directly affected the inclusion of women in the labor market. However many of them have found and still find barriers to work in various fields of endeavor and in the case of this study, the sports management. The purpose of this study was to assess through a systematic review, the participation of women in sports management, listing the main characteristics, challenges and difficulties. The research consisted of a systematic review of studies that discuss the thematic related to the participation of women in sport management in Brazil, including the Google Scholar database. The key words used and that generated proceeds were woman, sports management and women in sports administration. In the discussion and results has been possible to list the insert forms in a management position, the main ones being: by invitation, conduction or family relationship. The arguments about the limited participation of women in sports management and their encountered barriers are justified because there is a male domain and prejudice, resulting often the career waiver for these women. The profile of the sporting managers has found a predominance of men aged between 30-49 years old. For unavailability of articles, the present study was restricted to use only one database. In short, there is a lacuna in studies on women's participation in the administration or sporting management, with a prevalence of literature review articles. To expand overview on this issue would be important to carry out quantitative studies. It was concluded that the difficulty of women entering in sports management still seems to be a current problem and can only be minimized from a greater attention from the scientific community. A qualidade da educação infantil na produção científica nacional

A educação infantil é caracterizada como a primeira etapa da educação básica no Brasil, que é destinada ao atendimento de crianças de 0 a 5 anos de idade, sendo um direito da criança, é um dever do Estado em ofertá-la, porém a questão acerca da oferta de uma educação de qualidade, ainda é uma questão incongruente no território brasileiro. Há documentos oficiais como Os Indicadores de Qualidade da Educação Infantil, caracterizado pelos próprios autores como um instrumento de autoavaliação da qualidade das instituições de educação infantil, que buscam indicar padrões para a garantia de qualidade, mesmo que de caráter mínimo, para a educação infantil. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar e mapear dados obtidos por meio de levantamento de artigos científicos nacionais acerca da qualidade da educação infantil, artigos estes que foram selecionados a partir de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) avaliados como A1 no ano de 2014, a pesquisa analisará os artigos disponíveis apenas online que abordem a temática do estudo, com publicação no período de 2004 à 2014. Procurou-se averiguar a discussão realizada nos artigos sobre a temática do estudo, e compreender os principais aspectos relacionados à qualidade da oferta da educação segundo os artigos científicos selecionados, atentando-se para as discussões relacionadas às políticas de qualidade para a educação infantil; formação dos professores, a relação escola e pais, e a participação das crianças como forma para garantir melhor atendimento. Desta forma se evidencia poucos artigos que tratam da temática e para novos temas que emergem a serem trabalhados, para ampliar e qualificar o debate sobre uma educação infantil de real qualidade para as crianças brasileiras
