O sujeito descentrado e a educação como estética

O ponto crucial desse trabalho, certamente, são as condições de possibilidades das relações entre o magistério e a educação, arguindo tanto o magistério como a educação sobre o sentido do não-sentido de um currículo. Minha tese é que, analisadas as possibilidades da subjetividade, a autodeterminação é inexequível, isto é, é preciso incluir o outro no eu e essa inclusão pressupõe penetrar as searas do imprevisto. Se assim o é, a subjetividade consiste na responsabilidade, na ação de responder a esse outro que não sou eu, mas que constitui também o eu. Responder ao outro obnubila o eu enquanto singularidade, não há espaço para essa singularidade, portanto ser é imprevisível. Isso significa que é vão o trabalho de tentar planejar a construção do eu (o sujeito, o cidadão) do outro no tempo. O conhecimento, a herança, é também um outro a que se deve responder e cujas respostas produzirão outros outros. O currículo é um outro a que se deve responder, e isso vale tanto para aquele que seleciona quanto para aquele a quem se destina a coleção. Assim sendo, não há um sentido possível para um currículo. O encontro com esse outro selecionado em meio a herança que, por si só é também outro, desmantela o sentido previsto posto que é imprevista a ação da responsabilidade.Resta-nos aderir à vontade de potência, ao moto contínuo da responsabilidade ante o imprevisto. Mergulhar nesse jogo que, distante de uma ação racional, segue um processo de êxtase e não de vertigem ante o conhecimento. Resta-nos deslizar as políticas de governo para as de estado, onde a educação escolar seja vista como investimento não-útil, como um jogo que rompe as bordas dos esquemas dentro-fora, interior-exterior, aqui-ali, meu-teu. Como um processo onde o planejamento futuro é impossível, já que é puro imprevisto. A presente tese não se configura como a defesa de uma ideia, mas como uma adesão, e consequente reflexão, a uma perspectiva de entendimento do que venha ser currículo, prática docente e conhecimento, no recorte da educação escolar, independente do segmento. Inglês para terceira idade: investigando o contexto UnATI/UERJ visando à elaboração de materiais didáticos

Apesar de ter produzido incansavelmente na área de ensino e aprendizagem de língua adicional com crianças, adolescentes e jovens adultos, a Linguística Aplicada (LA) ainda não desenvolveu um acervo que ilumine os diferentes aspectos do processo de ensino e aprendizagem de segunda língua para adultos da terceira idade. Entre os poucos estudos desenvolvidos na área, destacam-se as pesquisas de Pizzolatto (1995), sobre as características do processo de ensino e aprendizagem de segunda língua com adultos da terceira idade; de Conceição (1999), sobre as estratégias de aprendizagem utilizadas por idosos; de Scopinho (2009), acerca dos subsídios para elaboração e utilização de materiais didáticos desenhados para a terceira idade; e de Oliveira (2010), sobre as crenças e experiências de idosas aprendendo inglês em uma escola pública. Como forma de contribuir para o preenchimento dessa lacuna e concretizar um desejo pessoal, surgido a partir dos desafios experienciados enquanto estagiário de iniciação à docência de inglês nos anos de 2008 e 2009, esta pesquisa almeja entender o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de inglês com adultos da terceira idade a partir de três perspectivas: a das professoras, a dos alunos e a minha, enquanto pesquisador. Para tanto, três perguntas de pesquisa foram estabelecidas: (1) como os participantes do contexto (professoras, alunos e pesquisador) entendem o papel do curso e o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de inglês? (2) Que práticas pedagógicas são apreciadas pelos alunos? e (3) De que forma os materiais existentes se relacionam com as preferências dos alunos? Compartilhando com Richardson (1994) o conceito de cristalização, intenciono compreender diferentes aspectos do contexto investigado, a saber, as aulas de inglês do projeto Línguas Estrangeiras para Terceira Idade (LETI) da Universidade Aberta da Terceira Idade da UERJ (UnATI/UERJ), encarando-o como um cristal multifacetado. Para gerar dados, utilizei quatro instrumentos de pesquisa: um questionário socioeconômico e cultural, duas entrevistas inspiradas no conceito de grupos focais (GASKELL, 2002), uma realizada com as professoras e outra com cinco alunos, e observações de aulas com notas de campo. Este estudo se vale do aporte teórico das áreas de Aquisição de Segunda Língua, condição Pós-método, ensino e aprendizagem de línguas sob a ótica da teoria da complexidade, teoria dos posicionamentos e ensino e aprendizagem de inglês com adultos da terceira idade. Os fios temáticos emergentes das práticas discursivas dos participantes são (1) memória, (2) afeto e emoções, (3) socialização, (4) conversação, música e tradução, (5) dedicação ao estudo, (6) heterogeneidade dos grupos, (7) uso de novas tecnologias e (8) material didático. As categorias de análise são memória e afetividade na aprendizagem de língua estrangeira, teoria dos posicionamentos e macroestratégias da condição Pós-método. Entre os achados estão a importância da memória e da afetividade na aprendizagem de inglês, o desejo dos alunos por atividades de conversação, o apreço que eles têm pela música e a inexistência de materiais desenhados para o público da terceira idade. As práticas discursivas são analisadas e discutidas com vistas à elaboração de materiais didáticos para o público da terceira idade

This is the report from the South Lancashire Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 18th October, 1978. It covers information on fisheries income and expenditure, the study of salmon propagation in England and Wales, work on the future programme of fisheries work and keep nets. Other sections include the report on the effects of Barnoldswick STW on Stock Beck and the River Ribble, information on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal transfer of mine water from Bickershaw Colliery and the future fishing policy of Worthington Reservoir. It also covers the report by the area fisheries officer on fishing activities including river conditions and fishing for salmon, sea trout, and coarse fish, and an update on Langcliffe hatchery. The report also looks at migratory fish movements at Waddow Weir, Winckley Hall and Locks Weir, stocking numbers of brown trout, rainbow trout and coarse fish in various rivers, pollution incidents and fish mortalities. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

A obra de Hélio Oiticica põe em questão o estatuto, as instituições, as fronteiras e a relação da arte com à politica, do neocroncretismo ayté a arte ambiental, passando pelas conexões com a antiarte e a arte conceitual. O campo de análise se concentra no período em que Hélio Oiticica se envolve com a comunidade da Mangueira, no Rio de Janeiro, anos 1960 e 1970. Esta dissertação se propõe a analisar as intervenções e as propostas de Hélio Oiticica do ponto de vista dos processos sociais que lhe animam e são reconfigurados no ânimo da produção de subjetividade. Assume como enfoque uma transição das práticas e processos artísticos entre o marco da modernidade e da pós-modernidade, que tem consequências diferentes matrizes de produção social, economia do desejo e formas de organização política. Em especial, sob o ponto de vista da resistência, é aprofundada a diferença conceitual entre uma arte voltada à afirmação de identidades e à emancipação, em relação ao marco pós-moderno dos processos de singularização e diferenciação constituinte

This is the report from the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 4th March, 1985. The report contains sections on Public Water Supplies in West Cumbria, proposals for water supply for British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL), and the proposals for a fish pass at Ennerdale Weir. The section on BNFL looks at the proposal of British Nuclear Fuels Limited to take more water from Wastwater. This section includes information about Wastwater, Calder Valley Boreholes, Mine Water and the River Ehen, and other groundwater investigations. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) strandings in South Carolina, 1992-1996

From 1992 to 1996, 153 bottlenose dolphin stranded in South Carolina, accounting for 73% of all marine mammal strandings during this period. The objectives of our study were to evaluate data from these strandings to deter-mine 1) annual trends in strandings, 2) seasonal and spatial distribution trends, 3) life history parameters such as sex ratio and age classes, 3) seasonal trends in reproduction, and 4) the extent to which humans have played a role in causing these strandings (human inter-actions). The results showed that 49% of the bottlenose dolphin strandings occurred between April and July; the greatest number of strandings occurred in July (n=22). There was a significant seasonal increase in the distribution of bottlenose dolphin strandings in the northern portion of the state from November to March. Bottlenose dolphin neonates stranded in every month of the year, except March and October, and represented 19.6% of the total number of strandings with known length (n=138). Fifty-five percent (n=15) of bottlenose dolphin neonatal strandings occurred between May and July. Bottlenose dolphins determined to have died as the result of human interaction accounted for 23.1% of the total number of bottlenose dolphin strandings (excluding those for which a determination could not be made).Incidents of bottlenose dolphin entanglements in nets accounted for 16 of these cases.

The Malaysian experience

Integrated farming has long been practiced in Malaysia, not only to provide protein requirements needed by the family, but also as a source of income. With fish being promoted on a larger scale, the Malaysian government is providing farmers with financial assistance and hands-on training on fish culture and rice production. Systems of fodder-fish integrated farming and fish-livestock farming in mine ponds are outlined.

Towards robust design of axial compressors with uncertainty quantification

Operational uncertainties such as throttle excursions, varying inlet conditions and geometry changes lead to variability in compressor performance. In this work, the main operational uncertainties inherent in a transonic axial compressor are quantified to deter- mine their effect on performance. These uncertainties include the effects of inlet distortion, metal expansion, ow leakages and blade roughness. A 3D, validated RANS model of the compressor is utilized to simulate these uncertainties and quantify their effect on polytropic efficiency and pressure ratio. To propagate them, stochastic collocation and sparse pseudospectral approximations are used. We demonstrate that lower-order approximations are sufficient as these uncertainties are inherently linear. Results for epistemic uncertainties in the form of meshing methodologies are also presented. Finally, the uncertainties considered are ranked in order of their effect on efficiency loss. © 2012 AIAA.

榆神府煤田开采对地下水和植被的影响

在简要说明榆神府矿区生态脆弱性和煤田开发对我国国民经济发展的重要性基础上,概述了矿区生态环境的现状、地下水的基本特征、采煤对地下水和植被的影响、以及矿区地下水与植被的相互关系;说明地下水资源是支撑矿区生态环境可持续发展的重要因子,采煤对地下水的破坏会严重影响矿区植被的恢复与重建;指出了目前矿区地下水与植被互动关系研究的不足,并提出了今后该领域应着重研究的方向.

神府东胜煤田复垦区土壤入渗特性的试验研究

土壤入渗性能是最基本的土壤物理特性之一。复垦区土壤的结构组成复杂,入渗特性有别于非矿区土壤。本文以神府东胜煤田马家塔复垦区为研究对象,利用圆盘入渗仪分别测定了复垦区乔木、林地、荒地、灌木林地和草地的土壤入渗特性,用经典统计学方法对复垦区土壤入渗性能的空间变异性进行了分析。实测结果表明,不同土地利用方式下的土壤入渗特性有较大的差异;在测定范围内,乔木林地、荒地、草地和灌木林地的稳定入渗率均表现出0 cm>—3 cm>—15 cm的规律性,其中草地稳定入渗率随吸力的变化更明显。研究表明:乔木林地稳定入渗率和累积入渗量的变异系数分别为0.58和0.49.属于中等变异。

Analysis of arable land loss and its impact on rural sustainability in Southern Jiangsu Province of China

Rapid urbanization and industrialization in southern Jiangsu Province have consumed a huge amount of arable land. Through comparative analysis of land cover maps derived from TM images in 1990, 2000 and 2006, we identified the trend of arable land loss. It is found that most arable land is lost to urbanization and rural settlements development. Urban settlements, rural settlements, and industrial park-mine-transport land increased, respectively, by 87 997 ha (174.65%), 81 041 ha (104.52%), and 12 692 ha (397.99%) from 1990 to 2006. Most of the source (e.g., change from) land covers are rice paddy fields and dryland. These two covers contributed to newly urbanized areas by 37.12% and 73.52% during 1990-2000, and 46.39% and 38.86% during 2000-2006. However, the loss of arable land is weakly correlated with ecological service value, per capita net income of farmers, but positively with grain yield for some counties. Most areas in the study site have a low arable land depletion rate and a high potential for sustainable development. More attention should be directed at those counties that have a high depletion rate but a low potential for sustainable development. Rural settlements should be controlled and rationalized through legislative measures to achieve harmonious development between urban and rural areas, and sustainable development for rural areas with a minimal impact on the ecoenvironment. End-column amperometric detection of 6-mercaptopurine by capillary zone electrophoresis

End-column amperometric detection of 6-mercaptopurine by capillary zone electrophoresis was described with high resolution and speed. The detection conditions were optimized and the electrochemical behavior was observed. Under the optimal conditions: detection potential of 1.2 V ( vs. Ag/AgCl), operating voltage of 15 kV, sample injection of 3 s at 15 kV and 10 mmol/l Na2HPO4 buffer, the detection limit for 6-MP was as low as 1 x 10(-7) mol/L and the linear range was from 5 x 10(-4) to 5 x 10(-6) mol/L with the relative coefficient of 0.995. The RSD of reproducibility for peak current and migration time was 2.5% and 1.2%, respectively. This method was utilized in assay real sample of human mine and bovine serum albumin containing 6-mercaptopurine.
