A Arquivística Funcional e sua contribuição para o desenvolvimento de uma disciplina contemporânea

Nos últimos vinte anos, as novas formas de produção documental e as tecnologias de informação têm levado os arquivistas a repensarem seu papel na sociedade, assim como os princípios e conceitos arquivísticos promulgados no século XIX. Neste contexto, emergem, notadamente no Canadá, novas abordagens para a organização do conhecimento arquivístico contemporâneo, destacando-se, dentre elas, a Arquivística Funcional, ou Pós-Moderna. O presente artigo aborda a contribuição dessa nova corrente para a constituição de uma disciplina contemporânea, notadamente a partir dos estudos de seu precursor e disseminador, Terry Cook.

This study aimed to investigate the concepts of discipline/indiscipline among teachers in the sixth year of elementary school and observe how this issue is covered by the teachers, psychological and philosophical approach, according to its various conceptions. For the analysis of disciplinary concepts and unruly, we took into consideration the context of preteen, who suffers great changes in this particular age group. The need to address the following themes, created by the fact that the issue indisciplinary is a constant problem in institutions and, thereafter, the theme was quite current in order representations (express or implied) of discipline/indiscipline among teachers. As a tool for data collection technique was used to interview the teachers of that grade. This research also tried to score, especially the teachers understand that their behavior and for disciplinary action, considering the changes in habits and attitudes students, resulting from pre-adolescence, very present in this specific age group. In general, confirmed the presence of essential individual and social representations about the concepts of discipline and indiscipline among teachers, varying according to their various cultures, religions and teaching time, so therefore they were defined their real considerations. From this research, we concluded that these teachers have a vision of traditional education, taking into consideration their personal representations and education they had in earlier time

Marcas da formação escolar, acadêmica e docente: uma análise dos memoriais de formação de alunos(as) do PROESF

This work describes and contextualizes the PROESF - Special Program for Teacher Training Exercise in the early grades of elementary school and children education in municipal schools of metropolitan region of Campinas. The PROESF was organized by University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and remained from 2002 to 2005 graduated about 1600 teachers. The objetives of this course was provide pedagogy formation to teachers in activity in elementary schools and children schools from municipalities of this region. The course also intended to improve the quality of the education and teachers formation. At the final part of course, the teachers had to elaborating a memorial of formation. These materials can be accessed on the website of UNICAMP. The contribution of these memorial of formations can help to think about the teachers formation. This study was a qualitative research from these materials for 2008, and the objective is to identify the marks the formation perceived by these teachers and contributions for them formation. It is understood by marks the formation school memories significant for this group of teachers, stressing the points of what the academic formation contributes for the teacher in day-to-day in the school and what life in the classroom as a teacher marked the teaching practice. Avaliação do impacto do material didático proposto pela Secretaria de Ensino do estado de São Paulo para a disciplina de Educação Física

No ano de 2008, a Secretaria do Estado de São Paulo propôs para todas as escolas estaduais o uso do material didático para todas as disciplinas, inclusive para a educação física, com proposta de atividade para o Ensino Fundamental e o Ensino Médio. Nas aulas de educação física encontram-se professores rola bola, que oferecem a bola aos alunos e não se preocupam com qualquer tipo de intervenção. Também, encontrams-se professores que procuram ampliar os conhecimentos dos alunos, aprofundando os conteúdos de educação física. Com base nisso, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o impacto do material didático na opinião dos professores do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental. Para tanto, foram realizadas entrevistas com cinco professores, que utilizam o material didático proposto pela Secretaria do Estado de São Paulo. Após a análise dos dados, verificou-se que os professores apresentam a mesma opinião no que diz respeito ao que se deve mudar no material didático; dois professores acreditam que é possível aplicar o material na íntegra. Alguns professores afirmaram que às vezes é necessária a ajuda dos alunos na realização de algumas atividades. Outros concordam que o material chega quase sempre atrasado e isso prejudica o planejamento, atrasando o desenvolvimento dos conteúdos.

Proposta curricular do estado de São Paulo de Educação Física: pontos negativos segundo a visão dos docentes do ensino médio

Nos dias de hoje, com o grande interesse da população sobre esportes e lazer, a Educação Física vem se propagando e se desenvolvendo de diversas formas, entre elas a Escolar e a Acadêmica. Em função disso, surgiu o interesse de descobrir como são as aulas de Educação Física no Ensino Médio. Para tanto, procuramos averiguar, a partir da visão dos professores, quais são os principais pontos negativos da Proposta Curricular do Estado de São Paulo de Educação Física rede Pública Estadual de Ensino. Tendo por base os professores da rede Estadual de Ensino demos início a esta investigação. Para tanto, foi aplicado um questionário, contendo 6 questões, em 9 professores da “rede”. Após as análises, os resultados mostraram que grande partes dos entrevistados apóiam a iniciativa do Governo Estadual em criar a Propostas Curricular. Tais professores dizem também que o ensino melhorou, porém é necessário que melhore e que tanto o profissional de Educação Física como a disciplina escolar devem ser mais valorizadas.

Antropologia da Civilização: um estudo da tradução para o inglês de termos simples, expressões fixas e semifixas recorrentes em duas obras de Darcy Ribeiro

The main purpose of this article is to investigate the most frequent simple terms as well as fixed and semi-fixed expressions in Social Anthropology of Civilization subarea in Portuguese and their corresponding terms in English, found in two works written by the anthropologist Darcy Ribeiro. The methodology used is that of Corpus-Based Translation Studies (BAKER, 1995, 1996, 1997; CAMARGO, 2005, 2007), Corpus Linguistics (BERBER SARDINHA, 2004) and Terminology (BARROS, 2004; KRIEGER &FINATTO, 2004). Results show that there are similarities and differences among the use of the terms in the main subcorpora composed of source and target texts and in the comparable corpora in Portuguese and in English. This data indicate that terms and expressions are not univocal in the anthropological language due to the differences in the conceptualization of the same referents by different specialists in the area.

A nova teoria da antropologia da civilização: tradução para a língua inglesa de neologismos terminológicos criados por Darcy Ribeiro nas obras o processo civilizatório e o povo brasileiro

This study analyzes the translation process into English of neologisms and expressions in the works written by the anthropologist Darcy Ribeiro and in their respective translations, made by Betty J. Meggers and Gregory Rabassa. Our research project draws on Corpus-Based Translation Studies (BAKER, 1995, 1996, 2000; CAMARGO, 2007), Corpus Linguistics (BERBER SARDINHA, 2004) and on some concepts of Terminology (ALVES, 1999; BARROS, 2004; BOULANGER, 1989; CABRÉ, 1993, 1999). Results show that terms do not present similarities within the language related to Brazilian Anthropology, being necessary for the author to look up alternative terminology and to create new concepts that can be used by other anthropologists. The translation of words and expressions developed by the author reflects lexical variation due to the options chosen by the respective translators for the target language. These tendencies may be found in Ribeiro’s translated texts, indicating the difficulty to conceptualize the anthropological Brazilian universe in English.

A tradução para o inglês de termos e expressões em Antropologia da Civilização: traços de explicitação em duas obras de Darcy Ribeiro

The main purpose of this article is to investigate the aspects of explicitation in English translation of terms and expressions in two of Darcy Ribeiro’s anthropological works. The methodology used is that of Corpus-Based Translation Studies (BAKER, 1993, 1995, CAMARGO, 2005, 2007), Corpus Linguistics (BERBER SARDINHA, 2004) and Terminology (BARROS, 2004). According to Baker (1996), explicitation is the tendency to explain, in the translated text, parts of the original text that had been left implicit. Results show that these tendencies may be found in Ribeiro’s translated texts, indicating the difficulty of conceptualizing the Brazilian universe in English.

A simplificação como traço de um habitus tradutório para a Antropologia Brasileira em língua inglesa: um estudo baseado no corpus da oba O Povo Brasileiro de Darcy Ribeiro

The main purpose of this article is to investigate the social and linguistic behaviors of a translator, analyzing the use of simplification aspects in the translational process into English of the Anthropology developed by Darcy Ribeiro. With this aim, we used a parallel corpus composed by the work O povo brasileiro (1995) and by its respective translation, performed by Rabassa. The methodology used is that of Corpus-Based Translation Studies (BAKER, 1993, 1995, 1996; CAMARGO, 2005, 2007), Corpus Linguistics (BERBER SARDINHA, 2004) and Terminology (BARROS, 2004). We also adopted Sociology of Translation theories (SIMEONI, 1998, 2007; GOUANVIC,1999, 2005), as well as the habitus conception, proposed by Bourdieu (1980). Results show that this simplification may be found in Ribeiro’s translated texts, indicating the difficulties of conceptualizing the Brazilian universe in English
