(Des)Compromisso social e sofrimento: o processo de exclusão de travestis e transexuais do interior de São Paulo

Transvestites and transsexualsface everyday intense process of exclusion. The un(un)involvement to those people ethically and politically is a fact and comes from the State and Civil Society. The aims of this article are to analyzehow transgenderexperience their construction of identity in aheteronormative social context; the public health assistance, work and incomepursuit. The methodology used was qualitative action research. The conclusion is that suffering is the result of a process of right’s fight and pursuit for health, assistance and work. The situations of being treated as inferior persons, with no social value are experienced repeatedly.

Sexualidade e gênero: processos emancipatórios na relação entre universidade e comunidade

This article presents and analyzes the configuration of a project of university extension, developed in partnership with public schools, which has as themes sexuality and gender issues. We seek to understand to which extent sexuality and gender issues contributes to the continuity of the trio teaching / research / extension, while acting as promoter of knowledge of emancipation of those envolved (under graduates, faculty and the community). We based our presuppositions on action research, with document analysis and questionnaires responded to by participants in the project during the period 2005 to 2011 as the instrument of data collection. We constituted that formative processes that disrupt the predominant perspectives in the educational processes of a stereotypical, biologizing and heteronormative nature of sexuality and gender issues were favoured. Moreover, the experience of inseparability of teaching/research/extension was favoured, based on the understanding of knowledge as something constructed in and through social relations.

Formação de professores à luz de Meirieu: interação reflexiva sobre a prática educativa

Action-research conducted in a a Brazilian public elementary school. Using the tools provided by Meirieu, the point was to offer teachers the possibility of improving their perception of their own knowledge and practice. The process consisted in filming classes and watching the films together for reflexive interaction. When given the chance to look at themselves, their practice and their students, the teachers started to do build a new perspective of the learning process and to deconstruct certain truths regarding their interventions, which brought in new outlooks, new discourse and new practices.

Jogo de handebol e futsal na escola: possibilidades e limites pedagógicos

Sports team, specifically soccer and handball, has traditionally composing the physical education school contents as a curriculum component. There are several criticisms to extend this approach beyond the sportive discourse. While we recognize this need for expansion, we believe that the methodological endeavors to teach these sports content are still very poor, requiring, therefore, studies that guide us in changing not only contents but also the way of teaching it, which implies new e teaching, pupils and teaching relationship perspective. In this sense, the objective of this study was to identify and analyze, from a sports team tactics teaching approaches of invasion, the demonstrations by students, the phases of handball and soccer games, as well as the elements/dynamic structural, functional and operational in the same school environment. Given this objective, qualitative research, specifically, collaborative action research, best meets investigation is this scenario, since classroom teacher and students also participated in the content construction and strategies undertaken during the intervention. The study enrolled 28 students in the fifth grade, aging 10 to 11 years, in a Bauru/SP public school, physical education teacher and the researcher. Were planned and taught together, 14 classes over a semester with the handball and futsal content, guided for teaching tactics approaches. The data collections were made through systematic lessons observation (through filming and recording diary), interviews with students and descriptive reports made by the classroom teacher and researcher. The results indicate that there was an improvement in the phases of soccer and handball game, even though only the latter has changed its category phase to decentralized anarchic phase. Processo de medição de desempenho em micro e pequenas empresas de um arranjo produtivo local

The local productive arrangements (LPA) are organizational mechanisms that enable the continuous performance of small businesses in production processes and business management models. To promote continuous improvement is essential that companies make decisions based on data that reflects business’ performance (performance measurement) and promote the cluster performance. This way, the aim of this article is to describe the performance measurement process that will support the corporate management of Micro and Small enterprises (SME) of a Local Productive Arrangement in Maringá, State of Paraná, Brazil. To develop this paper, the bibliographic search and action research methods were used. The field research was developed from the cooperation project (PROJVEST) conducted at the LPA, which goal is to deploy improvement actions in project’s participating companies. Metrics and performance indicators constructed from the diagnosis in the areas of Production, Quality and Ergonomics in companies will be presented. Among the main results, can be pointed out that the performance management of LPA is promoting the introduction of corporate management practices in SMEs, stimulating business cooperation, the continuous innovation in manufacturing processes and product quality and business processes.

Adaptação da produção aos objetivos de competitividade e produtividade: a pesquisa-ação em uma manufatureira de cutelaria inserida em rede

One of the oldest segments in operations management, whose models are always subject to development efforts, for academics and productive organizations, is the management of production and work organization. Proposals for strategic management principles that seek to bring production to streamline processes reduce costs and add value, identifying problems with material flow and information while reducing the response time. This is realized through the pursuit of the best actions to achieve goals and targets established in a successful Planning and Production Control. This article aims to identify and implement actions that increase the speed of supply of goods produced in a enterprise cutlery; positively influencing the perception of customers. Such attitudes benefit all actors involved in the network, a fact which is expressed in the production chain. To lay the foundations of research and validate the data obtained, it was a study drawing on action research methodology. The goods produced are sold, mainly to wholesalers. Was proved seven aspects to improve and enhance the competitiveness of the organization, among them the complete design of the network, integrating upstream and downstream actors.
