De que forma as regras e os limites podem promover o autocontrolo das crianças de 3 e 4 anos

Este relatório analisa a importância das regras e limites como forma de promoção do autocontrolo das crianças de 3 e 4 anos. A investigação foi realizada durante a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada com crianças de 3 e 4 anos, na Sala ArcoÍris, no Centro de Acolhimento Vítor Manuel. As notas de campo foram realizadas através de observação direta, seguindo esta investigação a metodologia qualitativa, procedendo-se posteriormente à análise dos dados e à sua interpretação. Partindo do referencial teórico tomamos conhecimento, através da consulta de vários autores, dos conceitos e perspetivas que esta problemática nos sugere. Ao fazer a análise das notas de campo posso concluir que de facto as regras e os limites são estruturantes para o autocontrolo das crianças destas idades, sem contudo esquecer que ainda se encontram numa fase de desenvolvimento em que necessitam, permanentemente, de colocar à prova o amor que os adultos possam sentir por eles.

Fine-silt luminescence dating and mineral composition of sediments from the Arctic Ocean

New geochronometers are needed for sediments of the Arctic Ocean spanning at least the last half million years, largely because oxygen-isotope stratigraphy is relatively ineffective in this ocean, and because other dating techniques require significant assumptions about sedimentation rates. Multi-aliquot luminescence sediment-dating procedures were applied to polymineral, fine-silt samples from 9 core-top and 37 deeper samples from 20 cores representing 19 sites across the Arctic Ocean. Most samples have independent age assignments and other known properties (e.g., % coarse fraction, % carbonate, U-Th isotopes). Benthic foraminifera in the Arctic Ocean

We examine the quantitative composition of benthic foraminiferal assemblages of Rose Bengal-stained surface samples from 37 stations in the Laptev Sea, and combine this data set with an existing data set along a transect from Spitsbergen to the central Arctic Ocean. Foraminiferal test accumulation rates, diversity, faunal composition and statistically defined foraminiferal associations are analysed for living (Rose Bengal-stained) and dead foraminifers. We compare the results of several benthic foraminiferal diversity indices and statistically defined foraminiferal associations, including Fisher's alpha and Shannon-Wiener diversity indices, Q-mode principal component analysis and correspondence analysis. Diversity and faunal density (standing stock) of living benthic foraminifers are positively correlated to trophic resources. In contrast, the accumulation rate of dead foraminifers (BFAR) shows fluctuating values depending on test disintegration processes. Foraminiferal associations defined by Q-mode principal component analysis and correspondence analysis are comparable. The factor values of the correspondence analysis allow a quantitative correlation between the foraminiferal fauna and the local carbon flux, which may be used as a tool to estimate changes in primary productivity.
