O mercado brasileiro de Telecomunicações e Tecnologia da Informação (TIC) tem importância significativa para o desenvolvimento do Brasil, haja vista a evolução do mercado de telefonia móvel, que cresceu 600% nos últimos dez anos. A indústria de telecomunicações, que representa 4,7 % do PIB brasileiro (TELEBRASIL, 2013), passou a ter uma nova dinâmica a partir da elaboração da Lei Geral de Telecomunicações em 1997 e, posteriormente, com a privatização do setor. Esta rápida transformação da cadeia de valor do setor foi também impulsionada pela evolução das tecnologias e de novas arquiteturas de redes. Ademais, a utilização de tecnologias digitais, como aplicativos/APPs e a própria internet, tornou a cadeia de telecomunicações mais complexa, possibilitando o surgimento de novos atores e o desenvolvimento de novos serviços, modelos de negócios e precificação (SCHAPIRO e VARIAN, 2003). Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar os direcionadores e barreiras na adoção de novos modelos de precificação de serviços no mercado brasileiro de telecomunicações, considerando a transformação e evolução do setor. O estudo foi elaborado por meio de uma estratégia de pesquisa qualitativo-exploratória e construtivista baseando-se na abordagem Multinível (POZZEBON e DINIZ, 2012), que trabalha o contexto, o processo e as interações entre os grupos sociais relevantes. A partir desta análise, foi possível compreender os critérios, direcionadores e barreiras no processo de adoção de novos modelos de precificação, as quais destacam-se as demandas dos usuários, a alta concorrência e a necessidade de aumento do retorno do investimento como os direcionadores mais relevantes, enquanto que a qualidade das redes, a falta de sistemas, a situação financeira das operadoras, a complexidade da regulamentação e o surgimento de grupos sociais distintos dentro da empresa são apontados como as barreiras mais críticas neste processo. Dentro deste contexto, os modelos de precificação emergentes abrangem o empacotamento de serviços, ofertas por tempo limitado, modelos de patrocínio/gratuidade, em conjunto com exploração de novas áreas de negócios. Este estudo proporciona uma contribuição prática e acadêmica na medida em que permite uma melhor compreensão do dinamismo do mercado e suporte para as áreas de marketing estratégico e tático das operadoras, bem como na formulação de políticas e regulamentação do setor.

A presente investigação analisa de uma forma crítica e fundamentada as perspectivas conceptuais das práticas desenvolvidas por um grupo de docentes do 1º ciclo do ensino básico, no âmbito da reorganização curricular decretada pelo Decreto-Lei nº6/2001 relativamente a este nível de ensino, procurando compreender até que ponto o Projecto Curricular de Escola serviria de instrumento na gestão flexível do currículo. A indispensável recolha de dados com vista a este estudo baseou-se numa metodologia do tipo qualitativo, consubstanciada pela análise de conteúdo de documentos escritos relativos a projectos Curriculares de Escola e de entrevistas semi-directivas efectuadas a um grupo representativo de docentes do 1ºCEB em escolas a tempo inteiro. O trabalho desenvolvido permitiu-nos perceber que algumas escolas estão a trilhar um caminho na procura de novas formas de acção pedagógica e organizacional, conducentes a melhorias das ofertas educativas proporcionadas aos alunos, enquanto outras mantêm-se passivas e inalteradas, ou porque preferem o conforto do comodismo ou porque não sabem o que fazer. De qualquer forma, evidenciou-se a necessidade premente de apostar em estratégias de supervisão e de formação contínua centradas nas práticas dos professores, para dar significado à sua profissionalidade docente, possibilitando práticas inovadoras propícias à construção de um projecto escolar com sentido para crianças diferentes numa escola para todos.

Apesar de vários estudos sugerirem um importante impacto da perspectiva temporal de futuro (PTF) dos alunos no investimento e motivação em relação à escola e a ideia dos projectos de futuro reunir consenso entre os diversos agentes educativos, no nosso país esta temática não tem sido abordada de um modo significativo, nem sido traduzida em estratégias educativas, de supervisão e de orientação. Neste sentido, estudou-se a PTF de estudantes de uma zona rural da Madeira, num importante momento da sua carreira escolar (9º ano), com o objectivo de caracterizar o constructo PTF, analisar a sua expressão no comportamento e debater em que medida esses aspectos se poderão consubstanciar em intervenções educativas adequadas. Para tal, recorreu-se a uma metodologia que envolveu, numa primeira fase, instrumentos de cariz quantitativo (questionário) e, numa segunda fase, instrumentos de cariz qualitativo (entrevista). Os resultados mostraram uma consolidação de PTF nos alunos, em especial quando passam por experiências curriculares e extracurriculares específicas, em que se inclui a orientação. Além da importância destas actividades, os resultados demonstram a associação entre PTF, sucesso e investimento na escola, e destacam ainda o papel central que vários agentes, com especial relevo para os professores, têm na tomada de decisão e na construção de projectos de vida dos alunos. Tais resultados suportam, por fim, uma perspectiva mais sistémica e organizacional dos processos de supervisão, no âmbito de uma nova ecologia educativa e de uma escola reflexiva.

As situações de bullying nos contextos escolares são um dos problemas sociais que têm vindo a ser objecto de estudo, um pouco por todo o mundo, demonstrando uma aproximação à própria realidade de cada contexto. Estes estudos têm permitido determinar a prevalência do bullying entre os alunos, as formas utilizadas, os espaços onde ocorrem com maior incidência e os que mais intervêm no bullying, mas compreender e medir o bullying é uma tarefa complexa, exigindo uma perspectiva sistémica no seu diagnóstico e compreensão. De modo a dar resposta às situações de bullying, têm sido desenvolvidos programas e projectos de intervenção com consideráveis evidências que podem ser eficazes na sua redução, quando consideram a realidade de cada contexto e quando envolvem todos os seus agentes educativos. O estudo de caso aqui apresentado, do tipo misto (qualitativo e quantitativo), tem como objectivo realizar um retrato abrangente do clima escolar, incluindo as percepções de todos os agentes educativos de modo a aferir a prevalência, formas, espaços onde ocorre, e intervenientes nas situações de bullying e violência. Participaram 523 alunos do 6º ao 9º ano de escolaridade, 227 do género feminino e 294 do género masculino, 77 professores, 24 funcionários e 42 encarregados de educação. As diferenças de género, idade e ciclo de escolaridade vão ao encontro dos estudos nacionais e internacionais, verificando-se que o Índice de Bullying aponta para 10,08% de alunos, sendo mais vítimas os dos 10 - 12 anos e do 2º ciclo de escolaridade, a forma de agressão mais predominante a física e verbal, diferenças no tipo de agressão em função do género e os locais onde ocorrem, com maior frequência, são à porta da escola, corredores e jardim. Estes resultados permitem obter um diagnóstico da realidade escolar, possibilitando desenvolver futuramente uma intervenção preventiva.

Some authors have shown the need of understanding the technological structuring process in contemporary firms. From this perspective, the software industry is a very important element because it provides products and services directly to many organizations from many fields. In this case, the Brazilian software industry has some peculiarities that distinguish it from other industries located in developed countries, which makes its understanding even more relevant. There is evidence that local firms take different strategies and structural configurations to enter into a market naturally dominated by large multinational firms. Therefore, this study aims to understand not only the structural configurations assumed by domestic firms but also the dynamic and the process that lead to these different configurations. To do so, this PhD dissertation investigates the institutional environment, its entities and the isomorphic movements, by employing an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory multiple cases study. Eight software development companies from the Recife's information technology Cluster were visited. Also, a form was applied and an interview with one of the main firm s professional was conducted. Although the study is predominantly qualitative, part of the data was analyzed through charts and graphs, providing a companies and environment overview that was very useful to analysis done through the interviews interpretation. As a result, it was realized that companies are structured around hybrids business models from two ideal types of software development companies, which are: software factory and technology-based company. Regarding the development process, it was found that there is a balanced distribution between the traditional and agile development paradigm. Among the traditional methodologies, the Rational Unified Process (RUP) is predominant. The Scrum is the most used methodology among the organizations based on the Agile Manifesto's principles. Regarding the structuring process, each institutional entity acts in such way that generates different isomorphic pressure. Emphasis was given to entities such as customers, research agencies, clusters, market-leading businesses, public universities, incubators, software industry organizations, technology vendors, development tool suppliers and manager s school and background because they relate themselves in a close way with the software firms. About this relationship, a dual and bilateral influence was found. Finally, the structuring level of the organizational field has been also identified as low, which gives a chance to organizational actors of acting independently

This work is a study in the Local Productive Arrangement of confections from Agreste of Pernambuco, as a relevant sector in economic and social aspect. This research has as central aim to understand how the inter-organizational relations influence the collective efficiency of arrangement. The theoretical framework employed highlights the approaches that deal with the benefits of business agglomeration for the development of firms and regions. It has discussed the approach of small and medium enter prises and industrial districts (SCHMITZ, 1997), which introduce the concept of col lective efficiency, explaining that only those externalities explained by Marshall (1996) are not sufficient to explain the competitive advantage of enterprises, expanding the idea that organizations achieve competitive advantage not acting alone. To examine the influences of relations in the collective efficiency, it has been taken as analytical perspective theory of social networks (GRANOVETTER, 1973, 1985; BURT, 1992; UZZI, 1997) because it has believe that this approach provides subsi dies for a structural analysis of social relationships in face the behavior of human action. By examining the organizations in a social network, you should understand the reason of this establishment of the relationship, their benefits, and as the information flow takes place and density of links between the actors (Powell; SMITH-DOERR, 1994). As for the methods, this study is characterized as a case study, in according to the purposed objectives, in addition to qualitative method. Also, due to recovering of the historical milestones of the arrangement, it is used a sectional approach with longitudinal perspective (VIEIRA, 2004). The primary and secondary data were used in order to understand the evolutionary process of the sector and their inter-actors re lationships in the arrangement for the promotion of development, for both, was used the contend and documentary analysis technique, respectively (DELLAGNELO ; SILVA, 2005). The approach of social networks has permitted understand that social relationships may extend the collective efficiency of the arrangement, and therefore need to develop policies that encourage the legalization of informal companies in arrangement, by showing up themselves representative. Thus, the relations estab lished in LPA of confections from Agreste of Pernambuco need for more effective mechanisms to broaden the collective efficiency. Therefore, this way as take place has directly benefited only a group of companies that are linked in some way the supportive institutions. So we can conclude that the inter-actor relations have limited the collective efficiency of LPA, being stimulated by the institutions in support only to groups of entrepreneurs, even those that produce external relations for all clustered companies

The current paper aims at analyzing customer retention in Internet provider services. For this study, we sought to understand what are the client's expectations regarding the services available and compare them with management perception in relation to the use of those services. Identifying the coherence level between the two points of view, management and client, it is possible to pinpoint how service is assessed in real conditions. Then, from this point on, a new vision can be implemented on available services, and new customer service strategies aiming at best serving to their expectation and need, can be rethought. The exploratory research was utilized. It was based on case study, and quantitative and qualitative methods were used. The quantitative method was done by applying the cluster technique with six variables of control derived from the six main services, whose definition was done through qualitative survey of the internal management team. Then, an structured interview with 443 clients, from a probabilistic sample of 800 costumers. The total number of active clients of the internet provider is of 10.677. Client perception in relation to services varied, if compared with the four services that were under the managerial metric method, this comparison showed a more positive evaluation than the real use of the service. Thus, it was observed that the value of each service available for the client depends on his/her perception of it, regardless of using or not the offered service. As a result, it is possible to understand which services offered by the company under study effectively contribute to a good client-company relationship, and the upkeep of those clients

This study aims to understand the effects of the mobile marketing use as a relationships tool for companies that operate locally, because of the lack of information about this new marketing tool, as well as the scarcity of studies in this area. This is an exploratory and qualitatively study, based on primary sources, raised through books, articles in the marketing area and the telecommunications industry organs as well as secondary sources. With the purpose to look into the issue, a semi-structured interview is made with the companies managers of the sectors of trade and services in Natal-RN. The advances in technology allow an important discussion focused on the marketing in the new communication technologies scenario. It appears that the mobile marketing adoption and use by local companies is already a reality and companies are awake to changes and technological innovations accessible, especially the mobile telephony as well as convergence with other media. There is, however, that the use of technologies offered by mobile marketing is still limited to the sending of text messages (SMS), despite the numerous possibilities of it use. Moreover, the results obtained with mobile marketing use show that companies can identify them, but there is no effective monitoring in quantity and financial terms. Only affect sales growth and support for progress in loyalty with customers. It shows up that the mentality of not measuring the results still in the plan of changes and technological innovations. The data allow saying that the mobile marketing is a reality, however has not yet signed as a tool for carrying out campaigns and marketing tool for loyalty of customers, despite presenting a wide range of possibilities to streamline and make more effective the marketing businesses process

This study has been presented for the Master in business of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, the objectives are evaluate the social impacts of the tourism in the community of Tibau do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The research is a study of case and the analysis is qualitative and quantitative. The tourism is considerate for many people as an important source of richness, job and an important economic activity. However, for being an activity that involves as main element people, It can cause impacts, could these are beneficial or malign. To evaluate the community's perception about these impacts, it was applied a questionnaire returned to the perceptions of them about the next social indicators: health, job, security, education and life quality. Considering the advent of the tourist activity in a period fifteen year. Through the research could conclude that, of general form the population realizes the changes occurred in the municipal district of positive way. Due to the appreciation of family farming by the Brazilian Federal Government, the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension was induced to restructure and act in a more participative way, culminating in the National Policy of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (PNATER), changing the profile of technology transfer and knowledge (diffusionism) for an action that uses participatory methodologies focused on exchange of knowledge between farmers and technicians. The process of discussion of the trends of ATER brought the New ATER , with the recognition of agroecology as the main guidance. This research aimed to analyze methods of public ATER developed by institutions of Rio Grande do Norte, under the guidance of New ATER. The research is qualitative. Secondary data were collected through documental research and literature. Primary data were collected through a set of interviews applied to representatives of public institutions ATER, namely EMATER-RN, Diaconia and AACC and representatives of organizations that receive public ATER. The research showed the difficulties of EMATER-RN in implementing of New ATER due to lack of infrastructure and low adherence of the new form of technical assistance and rural extension. It was shown also that the AACC and Diaconia act with ATER through projects with implementation deadlines set, often interrupting ATER while communities are still in need of assistance

This work makes a documental analise about the relationship between families of Down syndrome students and professionals of who teach them, in order to improve the process of developing teaching-learning, in an inclusive perspective. For this, we use a qualitative approach, because we believe that the object of research is not a passive and neutral knowledge, since it has meanings and relationships whose can be better interpreted and understood by the researcher in a real and active situation. For the development of this research, a bibliographical review was made about the subject, and a case studied in two regular education schools, both of them at the city of Natal/RN, one public and another one particular. We work on these educational institutions with professionals and parents of Down syndrome students. As an instrument of building information we used a semi-structured interview and to analise the results a qualitative method. Crossing the stages, we noticed: the pedagogical coordinators who made up both analyzed schools showed interest about doing an effective work with parents, regardless of Educational Policy Project of each school, predict or not the participation on educational undertaken process; On teachers discourses, reporting the relationship with the family, we realize that one of those teachers try to keep a good relationship with parents, permeated by learning exchanges, guidance and knowledge, in relation to another one, even existing an apparent openness to dialogue, when parents have any suggestions or criticism, that attitude is not always well coming. From the parents interviews, we can emphasize, first of all, that both of them recognize the benefits of inclusion, with regard to socialization - in general from the coexistence with pairs and the process of teaching and learning, as shown in a consistent way. Regarding school meetings with teachers, the studied parents agree about importance of such appointments and try to attend them, besides the other events organized by the school, beyond keeping individual touch with the teacher, when necessary. They are always present, looking for get envolved in everything that happens at school, in order to know better what is being done, listening and may suggest alternatives to improving the educational process. We perceive, from the study undertaken, that although the school inclusion is not an easy process to be built, is something that could be achieved. For this, is necessary that professionals of education and families recognize their functions in the educational process and act jointly on this direction

The objective of the present work was develop a study about the writing and the algebraic manipulation of symbolical expressions for perimeter and area of some convex polygons, approaching the properties of the operations and equality, extending to the obtaining of the formulas of length and area of the circle, this one starting on the formula of the perimeter and area of the regular hexagon. To do so, a module with teaching activities was elaborated based on constructive teaching. The study consisted of a methodological intervention, done by the researcher, and had as subjects students of the 8th grade of the State School Desembargador Floriano Cavalcanti, located on the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. The methodological intervention was done in three stages: applying of a initial diagnostic evaluation, developing of the teaching module, and applying of the final evaluation based on the Mathematics teaching using Constructivist references. The data collected in the evaluations was presented as descriptive statistics. The results of the final diagnostic evaluation were analyzed in the qualitative point of view, using the criteria established by Richard Skemp s second theory about the comprehension of mathematical concepts. The general results about the data from the evaluations and the applying of the teaching module showed a qualitative difference in the learning of the students who participated of the intervention
