Considering fragments of the haroldian poem A Máquina do Mundo Repensada, this paper approximates Drummond and Haroldo de Campos. In this poem, the poetic person’s unquietness conducts him to very peculiar displacements: the one that concerns to the end of millennium, marked by the utopia’s collapse, by the subjectivity fragmentation, by the frontiers’ reconfiguration between people and places. Assuming what the drummondian fatigued eyes have seen, the poet Haroldo de Campos will (re)think his world disharmony
Resumo:
Machine translation systems have been increasingly used for translation of large volumes of specialized texts. The efficiency of these systems depends directly on the implementation of strategies for controlling lexical use of source texts as a way to guarantee machine performance and, ultimately, human revision and post-edition work. This paper presents a brief history of application of machine translation, introduces the concept of lexicon and ambiguity and focuses on some of the lexical control strategies presently used, discussing their possible implications for the production and reading of specialized texts.

In this article we aim to discuss the treatment given to religiosity and sacral in the poem A Máquina do Mundo Repensada (AMMR), published in 2000. In spite of the existence of Bible transcriations made by Haroldo de Campos, especially in the last years of his life, we have made an option to discuss this in the poem because in its pages the religiosity and the sacral amalgamate with the poetic, revealing an interesting creative work.

The majority of the population knows their role in dengue control, preventing the accumulation of water in containers as potential breeding sites of Aedes aegypti, the main vector of dengue. Also known chemical control, widely used by the institutions responsible for the control of endemic diseases. On the other hand, unaware that an alternative measure such biological control through a microbial biopesticide, safe, harmless to health and the environment, can be adopted. Thus, this work reported for elementary school students, simply and clearly, the biological control of mosquitoes through bacterial biopesticide produced locally. Moreover, promoted the interdisciplinary teaching of science and mathematics through the data tabulation and charting on interviews conducted by students, about the level of knowledge of the population about dengue and other related variables.

O objetivo deste trabalho é aplicar uma clássica ferramenta da Teoria de Singularidades, a saber, desdobramentos de funç˜oes reais, no estudo da estrutura local de alguns subconjuntos do espaço Euclidiano.

A predição da resposta do tumor a radioterapia e a questão mais importante durante o tratamento de pacientes com câncer. Como consequência, a predição de genes que sejam responsivos a radiação ionizante e uma possibilidade para a melhoria dos resultados clínicos e a otimização das doses as quais os pacientes são submetidos ao longo do tratamento. Juntamente com esses dados, é possível obter respostas sobre os mecanismos de resistência a radiação dos tumores e até mesmo a identificação de biomarcadores responsáveis pela resistência a radiação ionizante que podem ser potenciais para o desenvolvimento de novas drogas visando a proteção de tecidos saudáveis. A determinação experimental dos genes que sejam responsivos à radiação ionizante é algo caro e que demanda muito tempo e trabalho; porém, se utilizarmos uma forma computacional de direcionar os estudos experimentais diretamente aos genes que têm mais potencial para serem responsivos à radiação ionizante, as pesquisas podem ser mais direcionadas e específicas. Para determinar essa característica, construímos, analisamos e determinamos os dados da topologia da rede integrada de interações moleculares entre genes humanos, contendo interações físicas entre proteínas, interações metabólicas e interações de regulação transcricional. Os dados topológicos foram utilizados como atributos de treinamento para o aprendizado de máquina, no qual os genes conhecidamente responsivos à radiação ionizante foram apresentados a um algoritmo de árvore de decisão que gerou modelos de predição com índices de sensibilidade e precisão de 5% e 72%, respectivamente. Os índices de acerto obtidos para os conjuntos de teste foram satisfatórios, retornando 91% dos genes conhecidos como responsiveis à radiação ionizante utilizados para o treinamento da árvore de decisão. In reply to the eagerness for aesthetic treatments in dental offices, the surgeon-dentist have had to improve themselves to produce the desired smiles. The mastery in the use of restoring and non restoring techniques as well as knowledge of the aesthetic materials in basic for the success of the cosmetic treatments. There are, however, other tolls which allow the portentiality of the treatment results such as, the analysis of the smile, through the use of photographs to perfect the results of both restoring and non restoring proceedings.

The large number of dentists in Brazilian job market has increased the competitiveness in the dentistry field, leading the professional to use different strategies in an attempt to attract more patients. This study aimed to report different forms of dental marketing, showing how they can strengthen the bond between professional and patient, making it an alternative to face the competitive market. It was concluded that there are various marketing tools that can be applied in an effective and simple manner; since supported on ethics, it can make the dentist be highlighted, attracting and retaining patients and ensuring their professional success.

The present project consists in an exploratory research centralized on the main patterns of the database of treaties registered by the Secretariat of the United Nations due to its obligations stated at Article 102 of the organization?s Charter. More specifically its purpose is to adapt and apply computer visualization tools to this database. The visualization tools developed here aim the exploration, discovery and communication of relevant features to International Relations research. These tools allow the manipulation of selected variables in the database, such as dates, participant actors and treaties subject. The visual representations furthermore facilitate the analysis of several dimensions of subsets chosen by the user, such as qualitative, temporal and geographic distribution. These proceedings help bring hidden patterns to the surface. The discussion about the limits of these tools has also a central place on this research. We listed and analyzed the characteristics and steps which could have a relevant impact on the final result
