Introduction: Given the repercussion of the important role of physical activity in the prevention of sickness and non-communicable diseases / loss, many works have been done in order to understand the association of sociodemographic characteristics with sedentarism. The elements which influence the physical activity practice are countless. Besides the intrapersonal element, environment elements (social environment, cultural environment, public politics, information environment, natural environment etc.) are also important in the life style. Yet, the way that the person understands the environment can be considered in the planning of the strategies to change the sedentary behavior. Objective: Verify the association of the environment perception with the practice of physical activity (FA) at leisure time in adults living in Rio Claro – SP. Methodology: The sample consists of 470 adults, all residente in rio Claro-SP, aged ≥ 18 years old. The chosen participants answered to the questionnaires: Neighborhood Environmental Walkability Scale (NEWS), International Physical Activity (IPAQ) and to a specific questionnaire with personal data (age, sex, educational level, economical level, weight, height and marital status). The analysis of the connection between the variables was done through the Logistic Regression with Confidence Interval of 95%, using the software SPSS 17.0. Those who reached the recommendation of 10 minutes or more of physical activity in leisure time for week were classified as active, and those who did not reach the recommendation were classified as underactive. Results: The proportion of subjects who practiced physical activity in leisure time was 38,7%, and the male subjects, as well as those classified as better social level showed higher chances to practice at least 10 minutes weekly of physical activity during leisure. A principal função do trabalho com o tema Meio Ambiente é contribuir para a formação de cidadãos conscientes, aptos para decidirem e atuarem na defesa de nossa biodiversidade. Observa-se em diversas regiões do Brasil a aceitação de um estereótipo negativo para todas as serpentes, que são geralmente consideradas como “animais perigosos”. Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar aspectos do conhecimento sobre serpentes de adolescentes de uma escola municipal de Botucatu/SP, como também tentar mudar a imagem negativa que estes répteis carregam. O estudo foi realizado com alunos com idade entre 11-17 anos. O método de coleta de dados foi um questionário aplicado antes e após a visita ao CEVAP. Os resultados encontrados foram positivos, visto que após a visita houve um aumento de 14% entre os alunos que citaram as serpentes como seu animal favorito. Também foi observada uma diminuição tanto no número de alunos que temiam estes animais, como também entre os alunos que afirmaram anteriormente que os matariam. Interessada em atividades com foco conservacionista, a Ong SOS Cuesta Botucatu foi selecionada pelo programa Petrobrás Ambiental para desenvolver o Projeto Córrego da Cascata no município de Botucatu. Este projeto é uma proposta de mobilização e educação ambiental para envolver a sociedade, principalmente a população ribeirinha, na gestão e no planejamento estratégico de recuperação e conservação ambiental da Microbacia Hidrográfica do Córrego da Cascata. O foco do projeto é promover a reversão dos processos de degradação e planejar ações estratégicas integradas e participativas de manejo e de gestão para a preservação da qualidade ambiental desse córrego urbano, por meio de uma caracterização socioambiental da referida Microbacia. Em relação à caracterização ambiental, o presente estudo refere-se ao levantamento da mastofauna em fragmentos de Mata Atlântica situados na área da Microbacia. O levantamento dos mamíferos terrestres de médio e grande porte foi realizado no período de abril de 2011 a fevereiro de 2012, com a utilização de dois métodos: parcelas de areia e câmeras trap. Outros dois métodos complementares também foram utilizados na tentativa de conseguir resultados que, invariavelmente, não seriam obtidos com as metodologias acima, como entrevistas e registro de atropelamentos. O objetivo é avaliar a riqueza da mastofauna da região comparando com trabalhos anteriores feitos em fragmentos com características semelhantes aos inseridos na Microbacia do Córrego da Cascata, Botucatu, São Paulo. Foram registradas 14 espécies de mamíferos pertencentes a sete Ordens distintas, sendo duas espécies consideradas ameaçadas. Cerca de um terço do total de doenças em adultos estão associadas a condições ou comportamentos que começaram na juventude. No Brasil, a porcentagem de Inatividade Física (IF) nos adolescentes varia entre 29% a 94%, que é um dado alarmante, pois esses adolescentes provavelmente serão adultos inativos fisicamente e com um risco maior de adquirirem uma doença de agravo não transmissível. Desse modo, o objetivo do estudo foi verificar a prevalência e os fatores associados à IF em escolares do Ensino Médio do município de Rio Claro- SP. Estudo do tipo transversal, de base populacional, realizado no primeiro semestre letivo de 2009 contou com a participação de 467 alunos (213 homens e 254 mulheres) das escolas particulares e estaduais do Ensino Médio do município de Rio Claro-SP. Para avaliar o de nível de Atividade Física (AF) dos adolescentes foi utilizado o Physical Activity Questionnarie-Children (PAQ-C). Foi aferido a circunferência de abdômen e calculado o Índice de Massa Corpórea (IMC). Os pais responderam um questionário para avaliar o nível de AF através do International Physical Activity Questionnarie (IPAQ) e o nível socioeconômico. Para verificar a associação entre as variáveis (sexo, nível socioeconômico, IMC e circunferência de abdômen) com o nível de AF dos adolescentes foi realizado a Regressão Logística e para verificar a associação entre o nível de AF dos adolescentes e dos pais foi realizado o Teste Qui-Quadrado. A prevalência de IF dos adolescentes foi de aproximadamente 83% e, dentre as variáveis analisadas, apenas sexo mostrou-se significante (p=0,00), sendo o sexo feminino com maior chance de IF.

Exemplos da perturbação do meio ambiente pela ação humana são recorrentes. Frente a isto, fica evidente a necessidade de mudança deste quadro, pois áreas com alto valor ecológico são amplamente afetadas, prejudicando as interações entre animais e plantas, nas quais as aves se destacam, sendo elas um grupo com claro papel na dinâmica de ecossistemas e de fácil identificação. Em vários aspectos, o conhecimento científico pode ser visto como um grande aliado para esta mudança. Visando a formação de cidadãos, a Educação Ambiental mostra-se como um importante meio de conscientização. Neste contexto, este trabalho se dispôs a confeccionar um guia didático e um jogo educativo sobre as aves, destinados a alunos do 7º ano do Ensino Fundamental,, visando propiciar aprendizado durante a observação das mesmas. Os materiais foram propostos a partir de uma lista elaborada no presente estudo, que reuniu nove levantamentos realizados na Fazenda Experimental Edgardia, vinculada à Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP, Campus de Botucatu, SP, de 1992 a 2010. Uma primeira versão dos materiais foi confeccionada e avaliada por um grupo de alunos, possibilitando a produção de sua versão final

This research is being read, thus rendering text on the pole of understanding, as a practice effective dialogue and therefore responsive through which the reader, author, text and context interact. To this end, the reader must turn their knowledge systems and relate them to the linguistic materiality. Thus, aimed to investigate whether the teaching of reading in the early years of elementary school literacy builds skills related to this cultural practice and its relationship to the conceptions of classroom teachers of reading, as well as the teaching and learning methodologies practiced in class classroom. Therefore, I base this research on the theoretical basis of linguistic studies and expository sociointeractionist redefine that, among other things, the concepts of language, genre and text. As for the methodological framework, this study followed the methodology of literature research and fieldwork. The fieldwork took place from the perspective of observing the pedagogical practice of teaching reading, in order to investigate how the educational activities are conducted in a reading room for the third year of elementary school, part of the municipal education Bauru- SP. Were used as instruments of data collection the questionnaire given to school teachers and the school studied the direct observation of teaching practice of one of these professionals. The results of data analysis indicate that the teachers surveyed know key content for teaching reading, as well as renovations of the theoretical and methodological studies of reading, with the consequence that the practices of reading done in the classroom limit the role of student as a reader and does not guarantee the formation of the reader

The work’s objective is to point out the difference between rural / urban and country side / city, drawing on the historical process of formation of the terms and analyzing the current dichotomous and continuous, to clarify the concepts of education in rural and rural education, in an attempt to differentiate these types of education in accordance with the schools. Also works with the different conceptions of children, adolescents and youth of the rural that are mostly students from schools in the 1st and 2nd grade. O ambiente virtual está cada vez mais presente na vida do ser humano e, por este motivo, não se pode negligenciar a perspectiva de que os jogos eletrônicos possam ser encampados no contexto das aulas de Educação Física, com as devidas adaptações, proporcionando novas práticas, as quais sejam atraentes, no sentido de ampliar as perspectivas de adesão ao movimento e minimizar as condições do sedentarismo. Desta forma, este trabalho, de natureza qualitativa, teve como objetivo propor a adaptação de alguns jogos eletrônicos, os quais puderam ser aplicados corporalmente, como novas possibilidades de atividades a serem vivenciadas em aulas de Educação Física, bem como, investigar os níveis de estado de ânimo e de satisfação dos alunos frente às aulas que utilizaram esses jogos eletrônicos adaptados. O estudo foi desenvolvido por intermédio da união de pesquisas bibliográfica e exploratória. Para tanto, fizeram parte deste estudo uma amostra intencional, composta por 60 alunos, de ambos os sexos, compreendendo a faixa etária de 10 a 15 anos, pertencentes a uma escola da rede oficial de ensino da cidade de Rio Claro/SP, selecionada por conveniência, a qual participou de uma aula, ministrada pela pesquisadora, composta por três jogos eletrônicos adaptados. Para se verificar o estado de ânimo dos alunos, foi aplicada a Lista de Estados de Ânimo Reduzida e Ilustrada (LEA-RI), desenvolvida por Volp (2000), antes e após as aulas. Foi aplicado, ainda, um questionário contendo perguntas abertas, com o intuito de se verificar o nível de satisfação dos alunos em relação aos jogos eletrônicos adaptados. Os dados foram analisados por meio da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático. This conclusion of course work aims to investigate the city of Limerick / SP, in order to question whether there are and what public policies developed by local, if there are training places for young people and targeting the job market or even partnerships between the city and local businesses seeking to supply the concrete conditions of preparation and targeting young people for the labor market. All changes in education accompanied the need to provide skilled labor to contribute to the country's economic development. The work is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is about the whole historical development of professional education in Brazil and new challenges. The second chapter discusses the reality of the world of work changes and their consequences, and the issue of working children and adolescents. The third chapter is about the difficulty of insertion of the poor youth in the current job market. The fourth chapter presents the city of Limerick to the needs of professional schools to meet the large number of trades and industries, which are currently listed by the educational institutions of the city and programs signed between the Municipal bodies and institutions such as SENAC (National Service of Commercial Learning) and Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning). The fifth chapter presents an interview with the CAMPL the city of Limerick, whose goal and give professional training to teens to get the first employee. In this text, the results of our research on the geographic location and establishing relationships with the School Council. We consider some legal aspects added to the evidence gathered in our experience to check how much the School Council is constituted as a non-state public place. The possibility of setting up this feature to see a meaning whose strength lies precisely in a healthy tension between the state and established community. Here is the legislation of the School Council of Suzano (SP) and some aspects of our experience from the practice of teaching at a school in Rio das Pedras (SP). We see the nature of the legal meaning assigned to this place from the study of law, considering the municipal, regional and federal levels. In the sphere of Geography use the concepts of Space, Place and City, as issues that are dear to that science. We used the concept of Topofilia to see if this particular place is the development of an individual's sense of belonging, and how it unfolds in the dynamic implications of the operation of this instrument of popular participation in the formulation of public policy education. We discussed the elements observed in these experiments to think about the composition of living environments in urban daily life

The matter Environmental, some years ago, is gaining increasing importance in society. Considering this relevance, which connections can be built between Physical Education and the Environment? What concepts can serve as a basis for developing a method that makes possible rapprochement between these two topics? Therefore, this study aims to assess and implement physical education classes aggregating environmental matters in the context of bodily practices in order to build values and cause people to think more about this matter much discussed today. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative. The study was applied to class of 5° year of Physical Education of Elementary School from a state school in the municipality of Araraquara-SP. As a tool of analysis was used, all materials produced by the students throughout the process, taking into account the development and their participation during classes. Students understand some matters relating bodily practices and environment. It can be concluded although indiscipline was present from beginning to end of classes, students comply with expectations

The minimization and mitigation of environmental impacts caused by the activities of organizations is increasingly becoming a key concern due to factors such as market demand, including suppliers and consumer markets, quality standards and even marketing strategies. The implementation of an EMS - Environmental Management System - allows the organization to achieve the level of environmental performance for its determined and promotes continuous improvement over time. This system consists of a schedule of activities, so as to eliminate or minimize impacts to the environment through preventive actions. It also provides a structured approach to set and achieve goals and objectives, and to establish procedures, work instructions and control, ensuring that the implementation of the policy can become reality. The objective of this work consists in planning a system using environmental management based on the ISO 14001 - standard internationally more widespread and accepted in the requirements to establish and operate an EMS - the Central Library, UNESP, Rio Claro / SP to stimulate the quest for continuous improvement and sustainability in the educational institution. For making the diagnosis of this planning was used the PDCA methodology, suggested by the standard, as well as all requirements for compliance. The results show that the benefits that the organization will receive involve reducing expenses and cost of energy and water, and improve the organization's reputation before the whole university and other educational institutions, reaching about three thousand people on university

At a time when people turn increasingly to technological innovations and virtual networks, a closer interaction with the environment can provide sensitizing experiences. One tool that facilitates this approach is the interpretative trail: its use in a Unit of Conservation (UC) allows more contact between the visitor and the nature elements. This research aimed to propose the establishment of an interpretative trail at the State Florest “Edmundo Navarro de Andrade” (FEENA) in Rio Claro (SP) with theoretical bases from Waldorf Pedagogy. The proposed trail is destined for students with 07-14 years-old, a period that the awareness is more accurate in a person, according to Waldorf tenets. On the path of the trail, we propose some educational activities at the points of interpretation: storytelling about environment; “photograph” the place with a drawing; create a song with sounds produced by the body and by nature elements; blindfold guide and a circle of people to share experiences. The activities aim to provide in the student a close and harmonious contact with oneself, with other people and with the natural world, and also serve as a support for programs of public use and environmental education at UC. The environmental awareness process in the context of FEENA - which has a significant landscape valuation - develops through the sensibilities of exterior and interior world. And also develops with the creation if images, thoughts, feelings and interdependencies relationships. Therefore, the ecologic education allows changes and formation of values and sensitive attitudes to students about the environment

The aim of this study was to identify which have the concept of curriculum kindergarten teacher municipal, city Sheets Pta.-SP, Dalben Marta Conti for how to translate the proposed curriculum for teaching daily. So whether using the guidelines of RCNEI pedagogical practice they do.
