Influência ao consumo crônico de álcool no fêmur de ratos machos e fêmeas

Considering that alcohol has been identified, in the literature, as an evident risk factor for osteoporosis development, inducing loss of bone mass, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the alcohol on the femur of male and female rats. For this purpose, 35 male and 35 female rats, divided into seven groups of five animals per genera were included. The groups were: control group that received food and water as much as they wished; alcohol group in the concentrations of 10, 20 and 30% and the isocalorie: groups corresponding to the concentration of alcohol. After 8 weeks, the animals were sacrificed and evaluated regarding to the body weight and nutritional conditions. Unilateral femurs were removed and analyzed in relation to the length, width, and thickness of the bone cortical, trabeculae percentage and optical density. Data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA (Tukey; p<0.05). Regarding to the weight, loss of weight was observed in the animals of the group alcohol 20% among females and 30% among the males. In relation to the nutritional conditions, the females with the dosages of 10, 20 and 30% of alcohol swallowed a mean of 25, 39 and 53% of Kcall and the males 22, 36 and 45 Kcal Jday coming from the alcohol. Alcohol reduced the length of the femur only in the group MG6. Mesio-distal width was higher in the group FG6 although the antero-posterior width was not modified. The cortical thickness among males and females was not altered however the percentage of trabeculae bone was reduced among females alcohol 30% and among males with the three alcoholic concentrations. Optical density was reduced in the concentration of 30% among the males and females. Under the experimental conditions, it could be concluded that the effect of alcohol was more evident among the males and in the trabeculae bone, and that the alcoholic concentration of 30% was the most harmful for the bone tissue, ....

The pedagogical context can become a mediator between teaching and learning process. In a research conducted to obtain a Master’s degree, I could see how intentional organized environment refl ects in the knowledge appropriation and internalization historically produced. The objective of this study is to raise hypothesis about the favoring of the potentiating context of learning in the development of the individual with the Attention Defi cit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as on the organization of pedagogic environment to mediate the actions of teaching and reading learning. It is the concern to meet children with behavior considered inappropriate for the classroom environment and failure before situations that involve them. The hypothesis is that when the teaching and learning environment provides motivation to the student and awakens in him the desire to produce knowledge and take ownership of it, it is possible that it may have a potentiating development of learning. As theoretical support, I used texts from Luria (1987, 1994), Vygotsky (1994), Vigotskii, Luria and Leontiev (1998), Beaton (2005),Graeff and Vaz (2008), Pastura, Mattos and Araujo (2005). The bibliographic research was the methodology used for the study.

Motivação em jovens jogadores de futebol para as partidas decisivas: um estudo da psicologia do esporte

O futebol é o esporte mais praticado no mundo e conta com a preferência da maior parcela da população brasileira, onde muitas pessoas almejam utilizar o esporte em sua vida profissional. Tendo isso em vista, para um jogador estar em condições ideais, é essencial que seus preparos físico, técnico e tático estejam lapidados, mas o grande diferencial pode ser o seu estado psicológico. Um dos aspectos a se trabalhar é a motivação, pois a mesma é essencial para garantir o foco do jogador e aumentar sua vontade de apresentar o seu melhor em busca das conquistas. Considerando que, fatores como: família, amigos, relacionamentos, pressão da mídia e torcedores, podem interferir negativa ou positivamente no desempenho, ocasionando desequilíbrios emocionais, a questão motivacional mostra-se como uma ferramenta útil para controlar esses fatores e auxiliar na maximização do rendimento do atleta nas partidas importantes. Já a ansiedade, em nível controlado, pode ser benéfica ao provocar no indivíduo atenção e concentração no momento que está vivenciando, mas em uma taxa exorbitada, pode levar o praticante a um desempenho prejudicado, sendo um fator decisivo para dificultar a realização de suas aspirações. Este trabalho teve como objetivo, apresentar estratégias para motivar jogadores de futebol, visando seu máximo rendimento em partidas importantes, considerando níveis de ativação e ansiedade, além de suas respectivas personalidades e reações a tudo que é imposto a eles. O método consiste em uma pesquisa bibliográfica, baseada em material publicado específico da Psicologia do Esporte, em fontes contemporâneas e tradicionais. Conhecer os fatores motivacionais é de extrema importância para o professor de Educação Física, pois ele não trabalha apenas com atletas, mas, principalmente, com alunos que tem que estar presentes em suas aulas ou treinamentos. This project is about a book-report, which will discuss the Augusta Street in São Paulo, a place emblematic of the city, one of its biggest and most famous streets and that has been the scene of several transformations of the country. From the heady days of Jovem Guarda to the decadence of the inferninhos locus of prostitution and drugs. Currently the route passes through a dubious process of revitalization. Then comes the question of when life ceased to exist in Augusta and the desire to capture in words the transitory moment what is happening in this street. When you scroll through 3 km of the street you want to be seen as a flaneur, the two Augusta, one which lives on day and another whose life begins at night. Fragmento d'alma

Fragmento D' Alma is an artistic research that part of a poetic tale through an initial charge of dawn one fantastic universe where words have life and willingly. The work includes sculptural works in order to interpret through the use of allegory situations of the tale in the form of sculptural compositions considering one or more characters in the story. In the sculptural work, I tried figuring the relations tale as my interpretations and poetic, so I sought theoretical studies of allegory after noting my affinity with the theme to contribute to the relationship text and image set in my work. I also sought to understand the relationships that the text played with sculptural work, so the chances that I could address this through dialogue between text and image. The studies collected through surveys pointed allegory by João Adolfo Hansen, as well as in various artistic and visual references present in my repertoire, such as the Baroque sculpture of Bernini, the performances of Berna Reale and literature of Neil Gaiman, contributed in this research to the development of my creative process during the preparation of this research work of art, making the complexity of the relationship between textual production and poetic sculptural three-dimensional, also became a concern and an integral theme of my work and my reflections presented here. Therefore, I conclude based on my own experience in this work, the artistic research inspired allegory might contribute to the development of my creative process during the preparation of this artwork, besides assigning relations between textual production and poetic dimensional sculpture

Atividades de aventura no contexto escolar, na visão de professores de educação física

Atualmente, a sociedade vive em uma época na qual o consumismo é exacerbado e isso desencadeia diversas conseqüências negativas para o meio ambiente. No ambiente escolar, existem vários objetivos a serem alcançados, dentre estes é preciso dar uma atenção especial à formação de valores dos alunos, auxiliando e ampliando o conhecimento e vivificando os que forem trazidos do ambiente familiar. Sendo assim o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a utilização das Atividades Físicas de Aventura na Natureza nas escolas do município de Rio Claro, na visão dos profissionais de Educação Física. Este estudo é de natureza qualitativa e consiste na aplicação de um questionário em uma amostra aleatória composta por 20 sujeitos que possuíam graduação em Licenciatura em Educação Física e atuavam, nas redes públicas e privadas, nessa área. Os dados provenientes da aplicação dos instrumentos propostos foram analisados descritivamente, por meio da utilização da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático. Foi possível verificar que existe a vontade dos professores em aplicar esse tema e o reconhecimento dos mesmos sobre a importância das AFAN para seus alunos. Porém um obstáculo encontrado por eles está na falta de preparação para poder trabalhar com estas atividades. É interessante notar que eles atribuem esta falta à formação acadêmica dos professores, na qual esse tema não vem sendo abordado como deveria. Há esperança que de este estudo tenha na comprovação de que as AFAN são um tema viável dentro do ambiente escolar, principalmente no que se diz respeito aos benefícios para os alunos

Hibridismo cultural: o imaginário europeu na construção da sexualidade feminina do primeiro século de colonização brasileira

The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the conceptions of sexuality and female sexual behavior and conduct, formed from the merger of information and securities purchased under the eyes, rules and guidelines established relations with the Holy Office during his visit to Inquisitorial Brazil in the late sixteenth century. It is a survey of historical methodology in which we used as the exploratory research and literature. In the sixteenth century the Church increases the pressure to change the sexual mores that were free in the Middle Ages, a fact which influences the rules and regulations that are adopted by the Holy Office regarding the person's sex life. The first structure was based on Brazilian sexual alliance between Indians and settlers, which led to sugar, by the Portuguese, the customs of the land, which included sexual practices free since the Indians were out of Christian influence. Supported by the absence of white women, the settlers took them wives of the earth, usually more than one, creating conflict with the Jesuits who condemned Indian polygamy.
