The focus of this study is to draw attention to the intergenerational family’s lifestyles and their various ways of cohabitation, in special to those families which are made by individuals of different generations, these families being constituted of, two or more individuals, or, two or more smaller families, which live under the same roof and have the elderly person as referential in their cohabitation. In those types of families, as for their ways of organization, it is interesting to note that the researches and productions done by inner architects and inner designers do not include this type of family arrangement because their studies do not cover this kind of structuralization nor was this type of organization put together with any of the ways of cohabitation. Therefore there is a theoretical concept void which is propositional, interventional and does not relate to the empirical reality. In observation to these remarks, the research starts a theoretic challenge of deconstruct or reconstruct our modern only habitational template, which is used today in all families configurations which out any regards to where this template will be used, unfitting to the intergenerational families who have elders. This study is then meant to give an differential analysis of the various domestic space’s templates in regards to the new families formats, their basic and special necessities, the home identities of those families which indicates the differential gap in housing and lifestyle from the higher social classes in comparison to the lower social classes. The interdisciplinary method was chosen in order to describe arrangements found in the lifestyles and the ways of cohabitation of the intergenerational families, this method is used for its knowledge base that better articulates the procedure method and the inductive reflexive approach made possible after an qualitative research. In order to accomplish that, an geographical space which tow real possibilities was selected, that is, the space where the people of great social and anthropological proximity are concentrated and the people which are the researcher kinships and friends, in between those are the habitants of Capim Macio’s, Candelária’s, Tirol’s and Petrópolis’s, neighborhoods, located in the south west zone of her home city Natal. It has been noticed that, meanwhile these intergenerational spaces do not claim their said spaces, because of their habits, necessities and relations in between generations and gender, their arrangements of said space are extremely creative. That means that alterations in the concepts of planning, construction and utilization of built spaces are imperative.

Smart structures and systems have the main purpose to mimic living organisms, which are essentially characterized by an autoregulatory behavior. Therefore, this kind of structure has adaptive characteristics with stimulus-response mechanisms. The term adaptive structure has been used to identify structural systems that are capable of changing their geometry or physical properties with the purpose of performing a specific task. In this work, a sliding mode controller with fuzzy inference is applied for active vibration control in an SMA two-bar truss. In order to obtain a simpler controller, a polynomial model is used in the control law, while a more sophisticated version, which presents close agreement with experimental data, is applied to describe the SMA behavior of the structural elements. This system has a rich dynamic response and can easily reach a chaotic behavior even at moderate loads and frequencies. Therefore, this approach has the advantage of not only obtaining a simpler control law, but also allows its robustness be evidenced. Numerical simulations are carried out in order to demonstrate the control system performance.

Esta tesis afronta la resolución del “por qué” y el “para qué” de la escultura como actividad humana a través del estudio de los modos de presencia, siendo la escultórica la de mayor rango intelectual. Ello permite una mejor comprensión de la importante función que desarrollan los escultores dentro de la colectividad humana, así como de los efectos que sus obras producen en los entornos natural y social. La escultura se muestra como una magia ancestral pero de extraordinaria vigencia, a través de la cual el ser humano adquiere fuerza y conocimiento, expresando a través de ella sus cuestiones existenciales más profundas. La investigación transcurre por dos vías paralelas que luego convergen en páginas comunes con un mismo lenguaje sincrético. La exploración intuitiva del ámbito intangible, y el análisis racional sobre lo tangible, nos muestran las dos caras de la moneda que avalora la práctica de este arte que nos ha legado los vestigios más antiguos de nuestra cultura, habiendo preservado nuestra memoria antropobiológica. Desde la compleja simbología de la sombra, esencial en la construcción del pensamiento humano, hasta el análisis exhaustivo de las relaciones posibles entre un objeto y un sujeto, tomando para ello como ejemplo el útil ladrillo, se investigan los distintos modos de presencia con los que nos enfrentamos a dos realidades, la externa física y la interna mental. El espectro analizado cubre tanto la manipulación matérica como las formas sutiles de la evocación o conjuración por medio de la ausencia. Los resultados de la exploración evidencian que el llamado pensamiento mágico, tenido como propio del estadio primitivo, es el que sigue articulando nuestra visión de la realidad, nuestra percepción del mundo. Dicho pensamiento, en el que la intuición es tan importante como la reflexión, que ha encontrado en el arte el medio ideal para su desarrollo y crecimiento, reclama la recuperación de la unidad perdida del conocimiento humano, de la magia que integró en su momento ciencia, arte y religión. En un mundo que naufraga culturalmente en procesos de exhaustiva especialización y de soberbia científica, y en el que las religiones han fracasado por interesada diferenciación, siendo la mayor causa de desentendimiento y la excusa perfecta para la barbarie, el arte ofrece la posibilidad de encuentro y de concordia...

Frente al éxito de algunos productos andinos como la quinua, la papa o la maca en el comercio agroalimentario internacional y ante la creciente degradación ambiental que afrontan los países en desarrollo producto de actividades de explotación intensiva; nuestra investigación busca evidenciar la tendencia que se asume desde la comunidad académica/científica y los funcionarios públicos del sector agroalimentario en el Perú, frente a la necesidad de mantener sostenible diversos modos ancestrales de producción agrícola (caso quinua), para ello analizamos información cuantitativa y cualitativa obtenida de las instituciones públicas y las universidades peruanas.

En el presente trabajo proponemos abordar ciertas relaciones entre la comunicación, las identificaciones y la alteridad en el marco del auge tecnológico de las redes sociales. Para ello, intentando sortear los escollos de un mero trabajo de opinión, presentaremos algunos lineamientos del pensamiento de Saussure, Deleuze y Lacan respecto a las relaciones entre pensamiento y lenguaje, de modo tal que nos permita inscribir el análisis en el contexto de una tradición de pensamiento. La serie de problemáticas e inquietudes que orientan este recorrido pueden, en parte, articularse en la pregunta por las condiciones de posibilidad de un nuevo pensar y un nuevo decir, a partir de ciertos trayectos de la filosofía en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, los cuales han indagado en torno al pasaje o umbral que va del pensamiento moderno de lo Mismo al pensamiento de lo Otro. En este marco, abordaremos cuestiones en la relación entre comunicación-tecnología a partir de consideraciones del par lenguaje-subjetividad. Nuestro punto de partida son algunos rudimentos clásicos de la lingüística de Saussure y Benveniste en la vía de trayectos que subrayan el carácter múltiple y proliferante del lenguaje, manteniendo ciertas continuidades con el espíritu entusiasta de la ilustración y el pensamiento moderno. Luego, con algunas consideraciones en Deleuze y Lacan, propondremos un sondeo por perspectivas que enfatizan los límites irrebasables en la relación con el lenguaje, las posiciones del sujeto y las teorías respectivas de comunicación
