The intent of this article is to investigate the contribution of Roberto Simonsen for the knowledge and the improvement of living conditions of workers in Brazil. Our hypothesis is that the intellectual contributed in a fundamental way to the theme of the living conditions of workers, especially workermen, was inserted into a broader agenda, that of ���national-developmentalism���, to which it also contributed signifi cantly, as we will discuss throughout this work, being the subject at the center his theories, the core, the foundation of which he went to build the corollary of ideas about Brazil and the world that consecrated him as a great thinker in Brazil.

A brasilidade no jornalismo de Revista Nacional: uma an��lise do discurso das revistas Veja e ��poca na copa do mundo de futebol de 2014

O presente trabalho buscar�� verificar a no����o (ou as no����es) de brasilidade no jornalismo de revista nacional - e como essas no����es contribuem para a constru����o (e a reafirma����o) de determinados discursos acerca da cultura e da identidade brasileira. Analisaremos os discursos das revistas Veja e ��poca em textos (veiculados entre novembro de 2013 e novembro de 2014) a respeito da Copa do Mundo de Futebol de 2014. A pesquisa partir�� de fundamentos da An��lise do Discurso (AD) Francesa e de uma concep����o intercultural de sociedade (que enxerga as rela����es sociais como processos de negocia����o de conflitos culturais entre os grupos sociais). Pretende-se mostrar de que forma os discursos das revistas repercutiram a no����o de brasilidade -se de maneira homogeneizadora, ou se de maneira plural- nos textos a respeito da organiza����o do pa��s para o megaevento, bem como nas reportagens a respeito do desenvolvimento do torneio em si. Indicaremos a influ��ncia da ideologia na produ����o discursiva (textual e imag��tica) dessas revistas quando abordam aspectos da cultura e da identidade brasileira nos textos sobre o Mundial - especialmente, quando tratam de nossa alteridade, a partir de uma perspectiva hegeliana de inferioridade da cultura latina em rela����o �� cultura europeia. Ademais, indicar-se-��o algumas no����es de brasilidade constru��das pelos principais nomes da historiografia nacional do s��culo XX - no����es, essas, que revivem no discurso jornal��stico sobre o Brasil e os brasileiros

Procedimentos de jogadores no jogo virtual Colheita Feliz: a virtude e a regra

This study based on moral culture research and the theoretical Piagetian perspective aims to investigate the relation between virtue and rules in the procedures of participants in the Internet game Colheita Feliz (Happy Harvest) ��� an Orkut application. By means of descriptive qualitative analysis, the behavior of 60 participants in the game was observed during two months. The participants��� performance ranking was analyzed according to the procedures they used. The results showed predominance of the crop stealing procedure in comparison with the crop cultivation procedure and allowed to consider that the action of stealing of the participants was not guided by the universal principles of virtue, honesty or lack of it (moral domain) but by the playing convention for the game (social domain) favoring the stealing procedure, and also by personal domain (choices) and mutual agreement among the subjects participating in the game. The data did not indicate connections between the participants��� actions inside and outside virtual and real fields with regard to stealing, and reinforced the idea that rules are conventionalized in the domain of a group and depend on social interactions by which mutual respect among peers must prevail. The data also shows that morality is not the regulatory actions in the game. The results also showed the importance of carrying out research on procedures used by computer game players since such procedures can demonstrate cognitive, moral, affective and social aspects perceived during playful interaction situations.

Este artigo apresenta levantamentos iniciais para o estudo da comunica����o esportiva, com enfoque entre a rela����o futebol e m��dia, em especial, o processo midi��tico envolvendo as mensagens utilizadas na camisa de jogo do time de futebol Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, que utilizou frequentemente nos anos de 2011 e 2012 mensagens relacionadas desde a problemas sociais at�� elei����es internas do pr��prio clube. Entender e elucidar os motivos para a aceita����o e repercuss��o dessas mensagens com a produ����o de mat��rias nos sites esportivos Globo Esporte, ESPN e Lance Net �� uma das quest��es a serem respondidas sobre este ���matrim��nio de interesses���.

Concord��ncia entre dois testes de capacidade aer��bica m��xima baseados na corrida em esteira e pista, com jogadores de futsal

The actual study goal is to test the Ellestad and Weltman protocol concordance in the prediction of VO2max in Futsal athletes. There was no significant difference between the two protocols, there was significant correlation between methods, but the Bland & Altman plotting shown very high amplitude in the Confident Interval at 95%.

Meios de comunica����o social de massa e a agressividade do espectador de futebol

The mass media have a decisive function in formation of opinion and conduct of population. Among those, the television is a vehicle with great power of spread of information. The objective this study is to analyze the influence of media on occurrences regarding the aggressiveness some participants involved in event soccer, while spectators. The subject's attitude is determined by predominant factors, among them the influences of social and cultural way in that lives, as well as, of the education and sporting influences that it affects. The problem of violence in the sport, in the case of soccer, it cannot be addressed for total responsibility of media. However, collaboration is indispensable, for aspect positive and/or negative, depending on the interest in subject. The models of behavior in television could influence the spectator's behavior for a learning process, for example, the use of the language. Therefore, it is indispensable to rethink the roads of television, their ethical conducts and to discuss the philosophical sense of the crisis. Because, to reject the mass media is to deny the reality and social transformations. The extent of the Physical education, above all in the school, is a fundamental space for the teacher to intermediate the meaning of the sport, in this case, the soccer-spectacle, in social context and their relationships with the media, enlarging the process civilization, so much inside as out of field.

Concord��ncia dentre dois testes de capacidade aer��bia m��xima em jogadores de futsal: teste de Ellestad e o vai e vem de 20m

O futsal �� uma modalidade intermitente cuja a participa����o do metabolismo aer��bio �� importante na ress��ntese de ATP e CP gastos anaerobiamente. A capacidade aer��bia m��xima (VO2max) pode ser mensurada por testes de campo e testes laboratoriais. Dentre os v��rios testes laboratoriais existentes, se destaca o teste de Ellestad, devido �� sua seguran��a e capacidade diagn��stica de patologias card��acas. Dentre os testes de campo se destaca o teste de Vai e Vem de 20m (VV20m), devido �� sua alta validade e reprodutibilidade em adultos, e devido �� alta especificidade ao futsal e ao futebol, comprovado pela exist��nicia de correla����es significativas do desempenho no VV20m com v��rias medidas de performance no futebol. Por��m, n��o existem estudos sobre a valida����o ou concord��ncia do teste de Ellestad em atletas de esportes coletivos. Portanto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi testar a concord��ncia do teste de Ellestad e o VV20m na predi����o do VO2max em atletas de futsal. Quinze jogadores semi-profissionais (25,4 �� 5,51 anos, 70,37 �� 5,74kg, 1,75 �� 0,04m e 8,43 �� 3,02% de gordura) realizaram os testes de Ellestad e o VV20m em ordens aleat��rias, separados por quatro dias. A concord��ncia foi testada pela compara����o entre as diferen��as (Teste t-studet para dados independentes), correla����o (coeficiente de Pearson) e concord��ncia (dipers��o de Bland e Altman). N��o houve diferen��a significativa entre os valores de VO2max estimados pelos dois protocolos, mas a correla����o foi significativa (p < 0,05; r = 0,479; EPE: 1,8 mlO2��kg -1 ��min -1 ) entre os m��todos. A an��lise de Bland e Altman apresentou concord��ncia entre os testes para um intervalo de ��95% em torno da m��dia da diferen��a (1,3 mlO2��kg -1 ��min -1 ), por��m a dispers��o indica um enviesamento positivo e significativo (p < 0,01), sugerindo que a a diferen��a aumenta com o aumento da m��dia do VO2max. Assim, para atletas de alto rendimento, o teste de Ellestad n��o apresenta a mesma adequa����o na determina����o do VO2max, quando comparado ao VV20m.

O impacto da depress��o para as intera����es sociais de universit��rios

Studies have shown that aversive conditions at the university may have great influence on academic achievement and the development of psychiatric disorders such as depression. In university context, social relations have been investigated over the years, but are scarce publications relating mental health and social skills. Thus, this paper compared a group of college students with a clinical depression with a group without clinical depression for the consequences and feelings that differents responses of social skills may have in social interactions with various interlocutors. A total of 128 students participated, 64 for clinical depression and 64 non-clinical. Question��rio de Avalia����o de Comportamentos e Contextos para Universit��rios ��� QHC ��� Universit��rios, Invent��rio de Fobia Social (Mini-Spin), Invent��rio de Depress��o de Beck (BDI) and Entrevista cl��nica estruturada para o DSM-IV (SCID-I) were applied. The data were analyzed by test t of Student. The results show that students with depression have a great difficulty about the social skills regardless of which require more or less assertion and general way for all social interactions, either family, friends, roommate and partner.
