A atorvastatina, amplamente utilizada no tratamento de dislipidemias, é fármaco inibidor da enzima 3-hidroxi-3-metilglutaril coenzima A redutase (HMG-CoA) redutase que atua na etapa limitante da síntese do colesterol nas células hepáticas. O transporte hepatocelular da atorvastatina é mediado principalmente pelo polipeptídeo transportador de ânions orgânicos (OATP) 1B1, o qual é altamente polimórfico geneticamente e está sujeito a interação com outros fármacos usados na clínica. O presente estudo teve como objetivo revisar a literatura científica baseada em estudos clínicos, in vitro e experimentais a fim de avaliar o impacto de polimorfismos genéticos de OATP1B1 na disposição cinética, eficácia e toxicidade da atorvastatina. Os estudos clínicos demonstram que o polimorfismo c.521T>C, presente nos alelos SLCO1B1 *5 e *15, resulta em alteração funcional da atividade transportadora, sendo que indivíduos homozigotos para o alelo raro C, apresentam maiores concentrações plasmáticas de atorvastatina e seus metabólitos ativos 2-hidroxiatorvastatina e 4- hidroxiatorvastatina. Entretanto, o aumento na concentração plasmática da atorvastatina e seus metabólitos ativos em indivíduos c.521 CC parece não ser acompanhado de redução na concentração dos mesmos no sítio alvo, tendo em vista que não foram encontradas diferenças significativas na redução da LDL-C ou colesterol total quando comparados aos indivíduos homozigotos para o alelo selvagem. O alelo SLCO1B1*15 mostrou-se significativamente associado a miopatia induzida pela atorvastatina, apesar do pequeno número de pacientes investigados. Estudos in vitro em células expressando OATP1B1 são necessários a fim de investigar o impacto do polimorfismo c.521T>C na concentração de atorvastatina nos hepatócitos. With the development of Digital TV, the equipments are becoming more and more modernized in order to popular- ize the information that soon might reach all Brazilian families. That way, we open a space for discussion about the many directions that the usability applied on ISDB-Tb interactivity (Brazilian System of Digital Television) can take. This paper approaches the questions connected to the concept of usability and also the subjects related to the life cycle of some technologies (existence time, obsolescence) Also talks with the definition of interactivityon Digital Television since it is responsible for the emergence of a new contingent of interacting people which goes from the computer and portable equipments users to the passive TV viewers. It’s possible to conclude that the Human-Digital TV Interaction (HDTVI) comprehends the synergy between three actants on Digital TV: the col- lective (or not) TV viewer; the interface and the issuer who can be represented by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) service.

Action-research conducted in a a Brazilian public elementary school. Using the tools provided by Meirieu, the point was to offer teachers the possibility of improving their perception of their own knowledge and practice. The process consisted in filming classes and watching the films together for reflexive interaction. When given the chance to look at themselves, their practice and their students, the teachers started to do build a new perspective of the learning process and to deconstruct certain truths regarding their interventions, which brought in new outlooks, new discourse and new practices.

The world we have been living in has adopted competition as the way for surviving in it, especially due to the capitalism and consumer habits. In this research speaking English is considered one of these differentiations, i.e., distinguishing individuals a unique people. In addition, it is expected that by using this language, among other things, people could have access to: education, a better job and a higher quality of life. However, the process of learning a foreign language is very complex caused by many features that are involved in it, e.g. the impossibility to dissociate language, culture and society. Moreover, it was contemplated if from this language learning, it would be possible to build social and ideological relations as well as personal identities. The most applicable conclusion of this research is the requisite of making students aware of the process for an effective foreign language learning. As a consequence, the context and social, cultural, and ideological characteristics that are part of the mother tongue society must be taken into consideration in the same way as the foreign language society.

The present research, of a qualitative nature, aimed to check possible changes in the relations between pairs after the implantation of a work with children’s literature. The work was part of a teacher training project whose proposal is the deployment of a cooperative sociomoral environment in the classroom. The sample was composed of 250 students (boys and girls) 7-10 years, students of elementary school I in municipal education networks in São Paulo State. The method used was the application of a questionnaire in two stages: the pre-test, prior to the implementation of the project, and the post-test, carried out with the children after the end of the work. By means the questionnaire, that contained questions on three main themes – friendships at school, the systematic group work and the feelings expressed with respect to the school –, the children were asked about the quality of the relations between pairs. The data obtained have gone through a quantitative and qualitative analysis, being statistically proven. Eventually, the results of the two stages of the questionnaire were compared, indicating a better quality in interpersonal relations experienced in school after the implementation of the work with children’s literature.
