Efeito Pesticida de Ésteres de Sacarose Sobre Calacarus heveae Feres (Acari: Eriophyidae) em Dois Clones de Seringueira

Sucrose esters are biodegradable, non pollutant and safe for health; moreover, they have shown great potential in the pest control. We tested a crude mix of sucrose esters on the survivorship and oviposition of Calacarus heveae Feres (Acari: Eriophyidae) females, an important rubber tree pest mite. The females were collected from rubber leaflets of the GT 1 and RRIM 600 clones. The mites were kept on stock arenas placed in rearing chamber at 28 + 0,1°C, 80 + 10% of relative humidity and 12h of light phase about two weeks before the assays. After this period, the mites were transferred to assay arenas made with leaflets from the same clone of stock arenas. The survivorship of females sprayed with sucrose esters in the concentrations of 1, 2, 3 and 4 g/L and their oviposition effect with 0.5 and 1 g/L were analyzed. The mites sprayed with 4 g/L had about 80% of mortality, while those with 1 g/L around 60%. All mites that died in the treatments with sucrose ester became dark with wrinkled tegument and decreased their body volume, suggesting dehydration. We also observed the efficacy of 1 g/L concentration to decrease the female oviposition in about 50%, in the third day after spraying. No differences were observed in the mortality and oviposition between females kept on both clones.

O espaço das ordens de um corpo

O objetivo deste trabalho é exibir corpos com infinitas ordens e exibir uma estrutura topológica ao conjunto das ordens de um corpo. Como cada ordem em um corpo está associada de modo único a um subgrupo de índice dois do grupo multiplicativo do corpo, ela fica associada, de modo natural, com uma funç˜ao de F \ {0} em {±1}, (onde F é o corpo em quest˜ao). Assim uma ordem é um elemento do produto cartesiano Πx∈F˙ {±1}x. Usando a topologia produto, será provado que o conjunto das ordens é um espaço booleano, isto é, um espaço topológico de Hausdorff, compacto e totalmente desconexo.

Vestígios de civilização e bárbarie na Bellé Époque ribeirãpretana: interpretação indicárias do cotidiano escolar do Terceiro Grupo Escolar

O presente trabalho busca compreender o processo civilizador que ocorreu na cidade de Ribeirão Preto na década de 1920, no contexto da Belle Époque Caipira. Para alcançar este objetivo, lançamos mão da análise da Ata de Exames Finais de 1927 do Terceiro Grupo Escolar de Ribeirão Preto. Para interpretar estes dados utilizamos uma abordagem indiciária, abrangendo diversos aspectos da realidade escolar.

Estudo do aumento no diâmetro do corpo de um rebite a ser cravado em furos acima da tolerância de projeto

In this work are discussed the main types of rivets, their characteristics and applicability within the Aeronautical Industry branch. Here are highlighted the solid rivets, showing off its layout, forms and limits of installation, that are required by aviation regulators. The riveting is a popular and simple procedure of fixing and joining two or more parts, and like any other manufacturing process is subject to process deviations that in some situations are beyond the limits of tolerance. One of these deviations is when the hole diameter exceeds the one proposed in project and which is limited by the rule of edge distance. The overall objective here is to study a possible solution to this problem: the installation of a rivet that has his diameter previously increased by compression. Observe the hole filling after riveting, detect the presence of cracks, discover the yield curve of the fasteners and their the crushing limits for failure prediction are tools used to verify this proposal. They demonstrate, at the end of study, the inefficiency of this procedure, with results that go against the safe fixing of parts in a structure

Corpo: forma, movimento e equilíbrio : um olhar interdisciplinar sobre o corpo, a mente e o comportamento humano

For centuries have studied the man in a segmented manner, which today, even with the emergence of new forms of research, holistic, we see that the influence of centuries of construction of scientific knowledge has taken root in such a way that even now with new understandings about matter and its structure pointing to systemic relations, studies are still largely dichotomized by dividing body, mind and environment. This paper is a literature review on several sources of knowledge, seeking an interdisciplinary way in physics, chemistry, biology, psychology and physical education, relate the body, mind and their interactions with the environment, building a more current concept of body. The studies showed that the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and environmental aspects involve an interaction continues between human been with the world, which changes shapes, balances and transactions, and thus human behavior. So when we speak of the body should relate all this that makes us conscious organisms in constant internal and external dynamic with the universe

Estudos de pré-formulação e desenvolvimento de cosméticos Dimora Del Sole

De acordo com dados de 2014 da Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Higiene pessoal, Perfumaria e Cosméticos (ABIHPEC) o setor de Higiene Pessoal, Perfumaria e Cosméticos (HPPC) apresentou durante os últimos 18 anos crescimento médio próximo a 10% ao ano e de acordo com dados do Euromonitor de 2013 o Brasil é o terceiro maior mercado mundial de HPPC. Diante deste cenário, este estudo objetivou o desenvolvimento de uma linha de cosméticos composta de preparações capilares, corporais e faciais, a partir do conhecimento das técnicas de formulação e dos materiais cosméticos escolhidos. A indústria de cosméticos é um ramo da indústria química, e suas atividades estão vinculadas ao desenvolvimento e produção de produtos de aplicação ao corpo humano para embelezamento, limpeza sem alterar funções ou estruturas (GARCIA et al., 2000). A linha de cosméticos Dimora Del Sole foi desenvolvida através de testes com diversas substâncias cosméticas e diferentes técnicas de preparo realizadas no laboratório de cosmetologia na Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas - UNESP - Araraquara até que se obtivesse à formulação desejada. Esta linha teve como foco a diversidade brasileira com inspirações da Itália, buscando os diferenciais que permitam sua aceitação e consumo no mercado pelos clientes. Ainda, os produtos desta linha foram preparados considerando-se os aspectos legislativos com relação à confecção das embalagens e rotulagem e ações de marketing. This work deals with the stages of the process of renewal of a Notice of Inspection of Fire Department (AVCB) set of structural measures, technical and organizational integrated to ensure the building an optimum level of protection in the security segment fire and panic according to the laws of fire safety standards. The work presented all the literature about the process, their justifications to force deploy in a company to fire safety, the benefits that this standard offers, the facilities in a company that has a AVCB and the great importance in society, presents some examples where there contained the fire safety regulations and their unhappy outcomes, difficulties encountered, examples of how to proceed, step by step and the lesson that this process requires great care, dedication, professionals with the required knowledge and severity to completion

Corpo e identidades femininas: a intermediação das mídia

This article intends to contribute to a reflection about the relationship between the body, media and femininities, thus seeking to indicate some elements in order to clarify how the media currently interferes in this relationship, especially for the construction of female identity with the presentation of styles of femininity that are part of a particular body standard. In order to do so, we present a brief bibliographical debate on media issues, identity, discourse and power, electing as empirical choices examples of print media aimed at the female segment in Brazil and Barbie dolls.
