A erosão genética de espécies domesticadas, provocada pelos processos associados a Revolução Verde despertou o interesse mundial pela agrobiodiversidade manejada em sistemas agrícolas de pequena escala onde situam-se agricultores familiares. Propostas de conservação in situ e/ou on farm têm sido elaboradas. No Brasil, a agricultura familiar tem grande importância na produção de alimentos e a mandioca (Manihot esculenta Crantz) é a espécie que se sobressai, sendo a agricultura familiar responsável por 87% da sua produção. O presente estudo teve como objetivos: um levantamento etnobotânico dos cultivos alimentícios de raízes e tubérculos de agricultores familiares do município de Rio Claro, São Paulo; e analisar aspectos sócio-econômicos visando estratégias para a conservação in situ de variedades por eles cultivadas e potencial continuidade das atividades pelas gerações futuras. Foram entrevistados 31 agricultores, em sua maioria homens, usando o método “Bola de neve”, distribuídos entre nove bairros ou distritos rurais da cidade de Rio Claro. As entrevistas realizadas para coleta dos dados foram semi-estruturadas, tanto para dados sócioeconômicos como para os dados sobre as variedades reconhecidas pelos agricultores. As entrevistas foram realizadas nos sítios dos agricultores e suas áreas de cultivo foram visitadas, onde foram feitas coletas botânicas. Os dados foram analisados de forma qualitativa utilizando-se gráficos e tabelas e descrições do estudo de caso. A espécie predominante da amostra foi a mandioca. Os agricultores mostraram possuir fatores positivos que os caracterizam como mantenedores da diversidade agrícola, como o fato de cultivarem etnovariedades de mandioca diversas e terem um sistema de caracterização e reconhecimento delas de base empírica, contudo, estes agricultores perderam, em sua maioria... This text aims to present the challenges and opportunities of omnilateral formation in Latin America as elaborated in Villela (2009-2010). This work has the horizon systematize the educational practices of the “Third World “, i.e. originating from the educational experience of Latin America, Africa and Asia. In the struggle for emancipation, these countries have built and are building unique educational practices. In this sense, we start questioning the historical and theoretical topic, omnilateral formation, and deployment, we discuss the Latin American school and omnilateral formation. We question specifically issues relating to intellectual and educational organization working in the “field schools” in Cuba (1960-1975). The issue of “intellectual and organizational culture”, in a Gramscian perspective (Gramsci, 2000), was addressed in several papers throughout our academic career (Villela, 2003, 2008, 2009-2010). In order to further these issues, we address the challenges of formation for children and rural youth in Latin America. By analyzing the educational practices in the education field, emerges the theme of contemporary global justice.

This research examines the merits of hallucinogenic plants considered and/or psychoactive substances, such as Cannabis sativa and Ipomoea violacea, using the isotope rates of stable isotope of oxygen (18O) and nitrogen (15N), continuing projects already developed by the research group at the Center for Stable Isotope (CIE), which evaluated the isotopes carbon-13. This paper helps in creating a database that we intent to use in evaluation of each plant merit. Through the IRMS (Isotope-Ratio Mass Spectrometry) technique, it has shown that some of the 24 samples of marijuana (Cannabis sativa L.) evaluated were similar to those grown in the regions of Fairbanks and Tanacross Alaska, USA. In turn, the 50 samples of Ipomoea violacea, coming from Botucatu (SP) and Três Lagoas (MS), got their differences detected, in order to clearly identify the discrepancies between their growing regions. Thus, it was possible not only to track the geographical differences between marijuana samples collected from different regions, but also evaluate the isotopic variation of leaf, flower and seed of Ipomoea violacea. With this database, it was possible to determine the origin region of the drug and/or detect where the cultivation was carried out, aiding in the search of the traffic control agencies, such as the Federal Police in Brazil

Neste artigo, reflito sobre a minha experiência como psicóloga e docente-supervisora de estágio do curso de Psicologia de uma Universidade pública. Através de fragmentos de registros mnêmicos das produções registradas em relatórios, comunicações e artigos científicos, dissertação de mestrado, teses de doutorado e de livre docente, entre outros, procurei analisar a efetivação das políticas públicas e os desdobramentos na construção de um novo modelo de saúde mental, denominado de Atenção Psicossocial. Observei que atualmente as Políticas Públicas para Saúde Mental, construídas a partir do Movimento da Reforma Psiquiátrica, vêm propiciando mudanças significativas para o cuidado dos usuários. No entanto, o estado atual da assistência em saúde mental, no país, é marcado por muitos problemas e desafios. Entre eles se destaca a necessidade dos novos serviços oferecerem uma atenção integral ao usuário, norteada na interdisciplinariedade, interprofissionalidade e intersetorialidade.

The use of new substrates, which do not lead to extinction of important species such as xaxim, has gained special attention to the cultivation of ornamental and exotic plants. This study aimed to evaluate the potential of using corn cob as substrate for growing orchids. Thus, we used plants of Laelia pulcherrima grown in pine bark (control) and corn cob. We evaluated the development and physicochemical characteristics. We assessed also the benefit of fertilization for the development of this species in both substrates. The corn cob had higher nutrient contents and higher water retention capacity than pine bark, as well as pH and porosity more appropriate. Plant development of L. pulcherrima on the cob was comparable to that obtained with pine and the use of fertilizer promoted the best growing, especially when the substrate used was the cob. Thus, it is recommend to use the same for the cultivation of this orchid.
Políticas públicas e vulnerabilidade social: uma reflexão teórica a partir de experiência de estágio

This article provides a theoretical reflection on the relationship between public policies and the social vulnerability of children and adolescents, based on the supervised internship of students of Psychology at UNESP/Campus Assis. The work revealed the need to examine the implications that social vulnerability concepts and public policies have in this area of professional activity. The study indicated the importance of addressing the ways that social vulnerability arises, and suggested possible contributions that psychology could make in the social sphere. The work highlights the need for the future psychologist to deepen his/her knowledge of these issues in order to develop a critical professional attitude that breaks from the approach in which individuals and/or their families are considered responsible for the processes that maintain them at risk.

This research intend to investigate the main concepts on the pedagogical activities from the 8th Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul, through its history and in a field research made in 2011, by the occasion and in the same year of that edition. It tries to recognize the innovative points of its pedagogical curatorial project and its meaning for the educational art in museums - the expanded field of the art. The expository and educational experience in the Bienal do Mercosul, through its concepts, proposes a reflection about educational art in museums or big events
