In radiation theraphy with electron beam, the electrons are produced in linear accelerators, and energy the most used have between 4MeV and 20MeV. Generally, the treatments are done for superficial injuries, because the low penetration of these particles. In this work a system for calculation of monitor units (U.M.) for cases of treatments with electron beam was developed. The Excel program of Microsoft was used and is easily found in the operational system of the personal microcomputers. In the Excel has been inserted the pertinent data of the linear accelerator of Varian, model 2100C, used in the Service of radiation theraphy of the Hospital of the Clinics of the College of Medicine of the UNESP of Botucatu. For some values of the physical parameters, such as: factors field and factors calibration, not supplied in the tests of acceptance of the machine, still proceeded calculations from interpolation and extrapolation. The mathematical formulas for automatic search of these and others factors used in the calculations of the determination of the U.M had been developed in agreement available routines in Excel. For this the functions had been used the function IF (that it imposes search condition) and the PROCH (that looks a value in a column from determined line), beyond the basic functions of addition, multiplication and division. It is intended to optimize the routine of the Services of radiation theraphy that perform through eletrontheraphy procedures, speeding the calculations and minimizing the occurrence of errors and uncertainties deriving of the maken a mistake manipulation of the parameters gotten in tables of data of electron beams

This work presents the development of a graphical interface to the Lock-in Amplifier, which is used in physiological studies on the motility of the gastrointestinal tract in rats and signal processing. With a simple and low cost instrumentation, the resources offered by the virtual interface of LabVIEW software allows the creation of commands similar to the actual instrument that, through communication via standard serial port, transmits data between a PC and peripheral device performing specific and particular needs in the amplifier. Created for the lock-in amplifier model SR830 Stanford Research Systems, the remote manipulation gives the user greater accessibility in the process of configuration and calibration. And, since the software is installed, there is the advantage of eliminating the need of purchase new devices to upgrade the system. The commands created were made to perform six basic modifications that are used in routine of the Biomagnetism Laboratory. This work aims the study and consequently the learning relative the manipulation and development of new cosmetic formulas, including the creation of a Cosmetic Line composed of products that fulfils the daily necessities of men and women, including products for personal hygiene as hair, facial and body, as well as sunblock preparations, having as base the natural resources that are found in our country, as flowers, fruits and essences. Besides that, this work aims the approach and the learning about the different kind of materials and vegetables assets that existes in this sector, including the stages of development of the products, the techniques of manipulation, the requirements of the legislation, as well as the advertising and the marketing and the expectations of the increasing cosmetic market

The equine anesthesia is proven to be a high risk procedure, for both patient and anesthetist, compared to other animal species. In these conditions, a good anesthetic protocol that can deliver sedation, making access and manipulation easier, analgesia fair enough to realize cirurgical procedures, and minimal physiologic changes would be ideal. Since there aren’t any drugs suporting all these qualities, the Neuroleptoanalgesic Associations show themselves as a valuable technique to provide anesthetic quality and safety, possibly diminishing our drug of choice’s doses, therefore offering less fisiological changes and easier monetary access in some cases. This paper objective was to list all these associations found in literature, evaluating their advantages and practical applications

No Brasil, a forma farmacêutica sólida mais empregada em preparações homeopáticas é a de glóbulos. Para a sua preparação são propostas diferentes técnicas, sendo que as farmácias de manipulação adotam a de sua preferência. A FARMACOPÉIA HOMEOPÁTICA BRASILEIRA 2. ed. (1997) propõe a técnica de tríplice impregnação à 10% (V/p) enquanto que o MANUAL DE NORMAS TÉCNICAS DA ABFH 3. ed. (2003) propõe a simples impregnação de 2 a 5% (V/p). A qualidade do medicamento homeopático dispensado em glóbulos depende da técnica de impregnação adotada. O presente trabalho propôs um estudo comparativo sobre a impregnação de glóbulos avaliando duas técnicas rotineiras impregnando-se corantes. Posteriormente, comparando-se com a ação já conhecida do ácido salicílico em estacas das espécies de hortelã Mentha spicata L. e Mentha villosa L. Foram utilizados os corantes Azul de Metileno, Safranina e Verde Iodo, todos na concentração de 0,5% (p/V). Diferenças visuais entre as técnicas de impregnação utilizadas foram observadas em todos os corantes e na análise da diferença de massa antes e após a impregnação, para safranina e verde iodo. As espécies de hortelã mostraram perfil de enraizamento semelhante, não havendo diferenças significativas para a técnica de impregnação utilizada. Diferenças entre os comprimentos das raízes adventícias foram observadas graficamente, na comparação dos tratamentos homeopáticos e não homeopáticos, mostrando a potencialidade da dinamização nos medicamentos. As soluções estoque de ácido salicílico, ou seja, aquelas que não sofreram dinamização, inibiram o enraizamento das estacas de Mentha spicata L. e Mentha villosa L. Um efeito... The search for more reliable security systems and information management of these systems is leading to a growing progress in new technologies investments that allow the implementation of equipment with a high level of reliability, but also have an agile and practical operation. This led people to turn increasingly looking for home automation systems, enterprise and industry for the automation and integration of their systems. The identification by radio frequency is very widespread today for ensuring both agility in handling records data, the reliability of their identification systems, which are increasingly advanced and less susceptible to fraud. Attached to this technology, the use of the database is always very important for the storage of information collected, the area where the MySQL platform is widely used. Using the open source Arduino platform for programming and manipulation of RFID module and LabVIEW software for the union of all these technologies and to develop a user-friendly interface, you can create a highly reliable access control and agility places a high turnover of people. This project aims to prove the advantages of using all these technologies working together, thus improving a flawed system effectively safety, cheaper and quicker

The nanostructured materials over the last decade have been increasing the variety of studies and research applications in many industries. From the understanding and manipulation of nanoscale is possible to obtain high-performance materials. One method, which has been very effective in obtaining of nanostructured composites, is the electrospinning, a technique that uses electrostatic forces to produce fibers from a polymer solution. By understanding and controlling of process conditions, such as solution viscosity, working distance, the velocity of the collector, applied voltage and others conditions, it is possible to obtain fibers in many different morphologies. This work aims to obtain nanostructured composites from polysulfone (PSU) a thermoplastic polymer with high oxidation resistance and good mechanical strength at high temperatures and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) that are excellent reinforcements for polymer materials, their mechanical resistance is greater than that of all known materials; using the electrospinning process via polymer solution. Were used polysulfone solutions, n,n-ndimetil acetamide (PSU / DMAc) and this same solution added of CNTs in order to obtain the nanofibers. In both cases were analyzed the effectiveness of the process from the analysis of fiber diameters, rheological behavior and infrared spectroscopy. The results obtained confirmed the efficiency of the electrospinning process to obtain polymeric fibers

De acordo com dados de 2014 da Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Higiene pessoal, Perfumaria e Cosméticos (ABIHPEC) o setor de Higiene Pessoal, Perfumaria e Cosméticos (HPPC) apresentou durante os últimos 18 anos crescimento médio próximo a 10% ao ano e de acordo com dados do Euromonitor de 2013 o Brasil é o terceiro maior mercado mundial de HPPC. Diante deste cenário, este estudo objetivou o desenvolvimento de uma linha de cosméticos composta de preparações capilares, corporais e faciais, a partir do conhecimento das técnicas de formulação e dos materiais cosméticos escolhidos. A indústria de cosméticos é um ramo da indústria química, e suas atividades estão vinculadas ao desenvolvimento e produção de produtos de aplicação ao corpo humano para embelezamento, limpeza sem alterar funções ou estruturas (GARCIA et al., 2000). A linha de cosméticos Dimora Del Sole foi desenvolvida através de testes com diversas substâncias cosméticas e diferentes técnicas de preparo realizadas no laboratório de cosmetologia na Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas - UNESP - Araraquara até que se obtivesse à formulação desejada. Esta linha teve como foco a diversidade brasileira com inspirações da Itália, buscando os diferenciais que permitam sua aceitação e consumo no mercado pelos clientes. Ainda, os produtos desta linha foram preparados considerando-se os aspectos legislativos com relação à confecção das embalagens e rotulagem e ações de marketing. In Brazil there are many cases of cities that suffer from flooding. It often destroys much of the structure of the city, and isolates many families. Relying on emergency measures for these cases and similar cases is of utmost importance. This paper proposes the development of a project of a timber bridge that can be used in emergency situations such as occurs in situations of floods and especially on side roads. It is considered one type of structural bridge which has, among other characteristics, an easy transportation and assembly of the elements. The development is carried out, at this early stage of the project, only about the verification and sizing of structural elements of the superstructure of the bridge. For this purpose, it relies on computer programs, and fundamentally on PCFrame Visual Taco. The first allows you to model the structure and determine the efforts of calculating the elements, and the second one assists at the scaling and the verifications in accordance with the Brazilian technical standards for timber bridges. The wood used in the project comes from the tree Eucalyptus saligna, which is easy to acquaint and manipulate and comes from the region Vale do Paraíba. The bridge in this case of application should have the characteristics mentioned below: short execution time, simplicity of structure and an assembly of a relatively low cost
