Direct descendant of the music of the Black Atlantic, hip hop became the spokesman of excluded minorities, for example setting up of the reunification that is geographically separated through communication. The hip hop appropriated new forms of mass communication, allowing the reworking of the story through a counter-hegemonic discourse that seeks self-knowledge and appreciation of the roots of black people. The street culture is the narrative of disenfranchised youth, generating narrative of inclusion, which gave a space of enunciation periphery enabling them to intersubjective recognition. This project aims to discuss the role of hip hop as an agent conscientizing youth peripherals in order to bring to the debate the form of identity construction around the peripheral street culture since, as an intervention that acts as a symbolic system guiding cultural practices and attitudes of these young people. Methodologically, we analyzed specific bibliographical about hip hop and literature originating from the periphery itself. Selected discography of some rap groups. They are Racionais Mc's, 509-E and DJ Hum and Thaíde that constitute the vanguard of hip hop in Brazil. We use music from rapper Emicida this while some contemporary exponents of rap, with national and international. State of São Paulo in order to demonstrate that there is similarity between the questions proposed by the hip hop and the interior of the capital, the group selected Survey. We have used also press material, raising the issue in research on the internet, periodicals include the Rolling Stones and Caros Amigos

O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar as representações sociais de professores sobre indisciplina em sala de aula. Adotamos a teoria das Representações Sociais como referencial teórico. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas. Os participantes foram três professores do ensino técnico, três do ensino médio e três de ambos os ensinos, totalizando nove docentes de uma Escola Técnica Estadual (ETEC) do interior paulista, pertencente ao Centro Estadual de Educação Tecnológica Paula Souza. Utilizando a análise de conteúdo, definimos três eixos temáticos: causas atribuídas à indisciplina, alternativas para lidar com a questão e concepção de indisciplina, para os quais caracterizamos categorias, em que obtivemos a frequência de respostas. Na análise dos resultados, podemos indicar que a representação social da indisciplina parece estar objetivada, principalmente, nas questões individuais dos alunos. Os professores relataram diferentes causas da indisciplina para os ensinos médio e técnico. Foram indicadas algumas diferenças na maneira de lidar com o aluno adolescente e adulto e entre as causas e as alternativas para lidar com a indisciplina. As representações sociais dos professores sobre a indisciplina ancoraram-se, em sua maioria, num referencial tradicional, associado à responsabilização do aluno e da família.

This article is part of a master's degree dissertation that studied the way as stigmas and stereotypes regarding lesbianity influence the life, in the sphere of the sexuality, of women that denominate themselves as lesbians, resident in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo. The stigma here analyzed is that lesbians are women that frustrated with men. We tried to show, through the narratives of the research s participants and basing on gender and feminist studies, how the heteronormativist system naturalizes the masculinity to the men and the sexuality in the masculinity, and how it legitimates speeches about lesbian woman through the heterosexual referential. Also, we tried to show some strategies of the biopoder for the maintenance of that system and, starting from interviews in depth, we presented how the participants of the research (lesbian women) make speeches on that stigma and how they re-significate it through their own narratives. The text characterizes the reading of media-related materials by students of the public basic education system in the State of São Paulo, based on a systematic observation of the circulation of press texts within the school daily life. In a study carried out during two academic years with groups of students from fundamental and secondary education classes belonging to two different schools situated in the outskirts of a town in the interior of the state, the students' reports on their appropriation of media-based information obtained from a variety of sources were analyzed, with particular emphasis on written newspapers. During the period investigated individual and group interviews, as well as texts produced by the students, were taken as points of departure for the analysis. Among the aspects noted from the contact with communication media is the establishment of press information inside the school, albeit with fragmentary repercussions, not fully integrated into the pedagogical daily life, but somewhat circumstantial in the students' lives. The themes that receive more attention circulate through the television, mediated by family or peers, but not by teachers. A proposal for the analysis of these data is made, followed by concrete suggestions as to the treatment to be given to support material, texts and media-based issues at school, taking into account the resources available and the school context such as it appears nowadays.

We review five years experience on inguinal hernia repair under local anesthesia in a small hospital in the interior of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Sixty patients were submitted to repair and they were evaluated according to their immediate results, kind of hernia, anesthetic and operatory techniques and recurrences. The results were considered excellent in 20% of the cases, good in 65%, regular in 13.3% and in 1.7% the results were bad. No recurrence was observed up to now. Most of the patients were discharged within 24 hours. The proposed technique has provided reduced hospital expenses and low risks of infection.

The training of the dentist should be aligned with the demands of social needs. For this to happen, contents related to the main problems faced by the population, such as domestic violence, must be addressed in their education. The present study aims to evaluate the degree of knowledge of dentists in relation to domestic violence, as well as verify that the Curriculum Grades of five private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and five state HEIs are in accordance with what is required in Curriculum Matrices established for undergraduate dentistry. It is a cross-sectional study with the application of a questionnaire to dentists of Basic Units of a small municipality in the interior of São Paulo and analysis of the Political-Pedagogical projects and curricular matrices of the HEIs. It was found through this research that only 9.1% of dentists know how domestic violence cases are recorded, 20% are familiar with the legislation and all the professionals are not aware of the records of notifications of violence. With respect to the curricula, between 86.37% and 94.12% of the curriculum content is focused on technical disciplines. A lack of professional efforts in addressing the problem in what refers to the identification and reporting of cases and, the lack of awareness of the legislation on the subject was found. There was also the need to adapt the curricula of the HEIs towards an approach of the subject, seeking to adequate them by the demand of the society with regard to the responsibility of the dentist in the treatment, notification and prevention of the phenomenon.
