ADMINISTRATIVE AND FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF LIBRARY OF THE THEOLOGICAL STUDIES CENTER OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD IN PARAÍBA (CETAD/PB): proposal for restructuring

A organização, a gestão e o planejamento de uma unidade de informação compreende várias etapas e envolve os processos e técnicas do campo de pesquisa do profissional do Bibliotecário. Neste estudo pretendemos construir uma proposta de reestruturação da Biblioteca do Centro de Estudos Teológicos das Assembléias de Deus na Paraíba - CETAD/PB. E especificamente: definir um sistema de organização para o acervo que conduza à autonomia do usuário no processo de busca e recuperação da informação; indicar um software de gerenciamento de bibliotecas que supra as necessidades da unidade de informação; conhecer o público alvo, a partir de instrumento de estudo de usuário, a fim de adequar as ferramentas tecnológicas que serão utilizadas; organizar um guia para auxiliar o processo de reestruturação e propor medidas para a regulamentação do funcionamento da biblioteca do CETAD/PB. A metodologia utiliza a abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa, com características do tipo descritiva e exploratória. Adota a pesquisa de campo, para conhecer e detalhar o universo de pesquisa que foi o Centro de Estudos Teológicos das Assembléias de Deus na Paraíba CETAD/PB, bem como os sujeitos da pesquisa, ou seja, os alunos da instituição. O instrumento de coleta dos dados utilizado foi o questionário. Para representar os dados recorre às técnicas e aos recursos estatísticos da pesquisa quantitativa. Com as análises dos dados desvenda o perfil dos seus usuários, constata a insatisfação dos mesmos com relação a organização do acervo, assim como quais ferramentas tecnológicas se adéquam a esse perfil para o aprimoramento nas etapas de tratamento e disseminação dos suportes informacionais, como também no serviços de atendimento ao usuário. Destaca o profissional da informação como gestor nas Unidades de Informação, com atuação que vai além dos procedimentos e técnicas tradicionais da profissão. Palavras-chave: Biblioteca Especializada. The role of the school library: resource center in the current educational environment

Principle 7 of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child (UN General Assembly, 1959) states in part: "The child has the right to receive education which will be free and compulsory ... You will be given an education that promotes their general education and training on an equal opportunity to develop their individual judgment skills and sense of moral and social responsibility, and to become a useful member of society. " I will expose to you that the school library resource center is the general instrument essential to fulfill this right of the child. Within the comprehensive range of materials and acquisition objective of their materials, school library complements and supports all aspects of the educational program.

Influence of the metal center on the morphology of coordination compounds thin films

Thin film morphology of tris-(8-hydroxyquinolate) aluminium (III) (Alq3) and bis-(8-hydroxyquinolate) oxovanadium (IV) (VOq2) are compared. Alq3 films deposited onto mica at 300K look almost featureless, but dendrimers or randomly distributed needle-shaped crystallites appear as a consequence of crystallization in time. We show that a possible origin of this process is exposure to solvent vapors. On the other hand, VOq2 films retain their textured morphology as thickness increases because of stabilizing intermolecular interactions between vanadyl groups.

The book of Qohelet. A digital scholarly edition of the hebrew text

The objective of the present dissertation is a born-digital critical edition of the Hebrew Old Testament book of Qohelet. The edition is based on an extensive collation of variant readings from indirect sources – the Septuagint, the Peshitta, the works of St. Jerome (the Vulgate and the Commentary), and the Targum – as well as from direct sources such as the Qumran fragments and Hebrew medieval manuscripts. The ultimate goal of the edition is (a) to reproduce the earliest textual form, the Archetype, that can be reconstructed on the basis of the available evidence; and (b) to propose a rehabilitation of the Original of the Author by resorting, when necessary, to conjectural emendation. We date the Archetype to the II century BCE, corresponding to the date of Hebrew fragments from Qumran, while we place the Original between the V and III centuries BCE. Unlike previous critical editions of Qohelet, ours follows the so-called eclectic model, which involves the reconstitution of a critical text and the preparation of an apparatus of secondary variants. Our edition includes, moreover, new data, taken both from primary literature, such as the recently published Göttingen Septuagint, and from up-to-date studies and critical commentaries on the text of Qohelet. The work is made up of five main parts: an introduction, which sets forth the rationale of the edition and the methodology adopted; the collation, where the variants are listed in their original language; the commentary, where they are extensively discussed; the critical text accompanied by the apparatus, which presents a selection of authentic Hebrew variants taken from the collation; and finally, a translation of the critical text. The edition uses the mark-up language of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI). It is realized in pdf, via LaTeX, and will be available in digital form, via the TEI-Publisher editor.
