Vozes femininas da poesia latino-americana: Cecília e as poetisas uruguaias

É a partir de uma perspectiva de dupla revisão que Vozes femininas da poesia latino-americana: Cecília e as poetisas uruguaias ressalta um outro perfil da escritora brasileira Cecília Meireles: a de grande estudiosa e conhecedora da produção de autoria feminina latino-americana. O livro tem como ponto de partida o ensaio ceciliano intitulado Expressão feminina da poesia na América, que corresponde a uma conferência proferida no ano de 1956, na Universidade do Brasil, e que apresenta um panorama da expressão lírica feminina na América hispânica. As poetisas mencionadas por Cecília Meireles em seu texto, embora desempenhem um importante papel no cenário da produção poética de seus respectivos países, nem sempre integram a historiografia tradicional canônica; injustiça que o ensaio ceciliano corrige. Para mostrar a importância desse texto ceciliano em relação aos estudos feministas na América Latina são realizados alguns comentários sobre a crítica literária feminista, bem como acerca da vasta produção da autora de Romanceiro da Inconfidência. Além disso, estabelece-se um diálogo entre a escritora brasileira e as poetisas hispano-americanas. O livro demonstra o comprometimento de Cecília Meireles com a escrita feminina no contexto sóciocultural latino-americano

Rumores da escrita, vestígios do passado: uma interpretação fonológica das vogais do português arcaico por meio da poesia medieval

A proposta do presente livro é oferecer ao leitor uma descrição fonológica das qualidades vocálicas vigentes na primeira fase (período trovadoresco) do português arcaico a partir da análise das rimas e da grafia das Cantigas de Santa Maria, de Afonso X, o Sábio, Rei de Leão e Castela, elaboradas na segunda metade do século XIII.

De palanque: as crônicas de Artur Azevedo no diário de Notícias (1885/1886)

Esequiel Gomes da Silva reúne neste livro vários textos jornalísticos do maranhense Artur Azevedo, considerado o primeiro grande dramaturgo brasileiro. O período focado por Silva foi um dos mais fecundos na carreira jornalística do escritor, que através de suas crônicas traçou, com verve e simpático distanciamento, um amplo painel da sociedade e da vida política e cultural do Rio de Janeiro, a efervescente capital imperial. O livro traz, além das crônicas publicadas nesse período - transcritas integralmente, com ortografia atualizada - uma percuciente análise sobre a produção intelectual de Artur Azevedo, enfatizando, porém, sua atuação enquanto crítico de jornais. A obra ainda oferece uma caracterização geral das crônicas e se debruça sobre o processo de elaboração formal e sobre os recursos de comicidade utilizados pelo escritor. O trabalho também possibilita compreender como essas crônicas serviram de ferramenta de intervenção artística, cultural, política e social, terminando por mostrar um Artur Azevedo surpreendentemente engajado nos assuntos do país e empenhado no fortalecimento da cultura brasileira

Cultivo celular in vitro: importância para a pesquisa biomédica e dimensão da problemática de autenticação de linhagens celulares

Experimental models composed by human and animal cell lines are simplified and informative, allowing them to be widely used for biomedical research. Most laboratories that use in vitro cultivated cells maintain a variation of cell lines stored and cultivated. Therefore, misidentification and cross-contamination events can happen during cell lines handling. This problem can generate a repertoire of dubious results and papers, which may prejudice biomedical research. Recently it was created the International Cell Line Authentication Committee (ICLAC), which aims to spread knowledge about cross-contamination and misidentification of in vitro cell lines. Despite of the efforts spent trying to aware scientific community about the importance of the correct identification of cells, the number of papers based on misidentified cell lines it´s still worrying, compromising the reliability of out coming results and conclusions regarding them. The present study aims to analyze and discuss the main advantages and limitations of eukaryote in vitro cell lines use, characterizing the cell lines authentication problems. Therefore, compilation and critical analyses of literature data was realized, aiming to improve the understanding about this subject. Based on information about 445 cell lines with issues published by ICLAC it´s clear that contamination in human cell lines represented 89,2 % of mentioned problems. HeLa cell line was the responsible for most contamination, especially in 92 normal tissue cell lines, representing 44,6% of the contamination. These results reinforce the importance of periodic maintenance of cell lines cultures by labs and implementation of authentication methods as polymorphic STRs, besides obtaining cell lines from reliable sources and cell banks

O processo de ensino aprendizagem da educação no trânsito por meio da construção de um personagem heróico

This research project aims to study the relationship between the myths and the automobile, the contributions to the literature of fairy tales and the possible contributions of the heroes of fairy tales can bring to the process of teaching and learning defensive behavior in traffic. Traffic is a phenomenon so common to modern societies that often do not pay attention to their relevance as synonymous with social space and contains diversity of people and behaviors. To counter the image of fatalistic accidents and transgressions, will support us in the virtues of the hero figure to culminate in a collective tale in which children want to rethink their behavior, becoming citizens, with a more preventative and better quality of life. The research will be held in four rooms of elementary school in a city public school that serves children from families of the urban popular classes. The research will seek to analyze how the design of transit for the children and what the increase attributed to the theme, after the establishment of a collective story
