Articulação entre as políticas internas e externas no Brasil dos anos de 1980 aos nossos dias: uma análise valorativa sobre o desenvolvimento social e política-cultural

Assim como, as vivências nos intercâmbios internacionais podem e devem contribuir em grau elevado na constituição das mesmas políticas públicas, angariando recursos e investimentos externos, elas também podem se aprofundar em experiência de conscientização dos sujeitos políticos. Quanto mais a difusão cultural entre os povos é incentivada, pelos governos e iniciativas não governamentais, somada à atividade política dos sujeitos, mais trará contribuições aos entremeios das sociedades complexas, que por sua vez, refletirão na melhoria das condições de vida dos indivíduos e de suas instituições. O plano discursivo ideal propõe a superação das amarras econômicas para contemplar os estratos sociais, essa seria a primeira etapa para iniciar o aperfeiçoamento das instâncias democráticas e, convém assistir às transformações desde as estrutura, ou seja, dos modos de pensar, ser e agir dos seres humanos em busca de um novo tipo de desenvolvimento, que de fato se reconheça globalizado. Para tanto, o método utilizado se ancorou na revisão bibliográfica da análise histórica e da análise de discursos dos ex-presidentes, a partir da época de redemocratização brasileira. A todo o momento, frisou-se a articulação entre as mais diversas frentes de organização social, interna e externa, bem como as supranacionais, tal articulação é oportuna à metodologia, na tentativa de uma compreensão introdutória dos processos da modernidade complexa. Além disso, optou-se por tecer considerações finais que deixassem o texto aberto ao debate, ao contrário de qualquer proposta conclusiva. A saber, a potencialidade em dialogar sobre o conceito de desenvolvimento, que se deseja pluralmente inserido na universalidade relativa ao gênero humano, torna-se mais atraente, à medida que são cobradas melhorias dos programas político-democráticos... Análise cinemática e dinâmica para conversão de um VW saveiro em veículo elétrico

This work aims to kinematic and dynamic analysis of a VW Saveiro in order to estimate the power requested to the engine with the imposed movement conditions. Thus, the study will be the basis to the specification of the electric engine, on the conversion of the internal combustion vehicle into electric one. First of all, a literature review was done in order to understand the state of the art for this issue and come up with the technical features of the vehicle in question. The next step is the identification and calculation of all forces acting on the prototype in motion, from 0 to 120 km/h, in intervals of 10 km/h, under the defined conditions of path and time. Then, were determined the values of the torque and rotation of the components from the transmission system, as well as the engine power, for each speed range. The results show the most influential forces on the resistence of the movement in each speed range, and the behavior of the torque curve is verified. Finally, it was also analyzed the implementation of pinwheels on the frontal area of the vehicle, in order to convert wind energy into electrical energy to supply the lighting subsystem of the vehicle and the proposal was validated. Limiting the maximum speed of the vehicle to 90 km/h, it was finally concluded that the power of the electric engine should be 40 HP

Tratamento terminográfico de termos em inglês do comércio Internacional em dicionários franceses

Brazil has a strong trading relationship with several countries, including France, which has intensified these links in recent years and intends to do so yet further. Legal documents regulate this operation, resulting in a set of terms which designate concepts specific to this area. Communication between Brazilian and French buyers and sellers is intense and does not permit the occurrence of errors in understanding orders for merchandise nor in terms of purchase and sale. It is therefore very important that agents of International Trade between Brazil and France should have access to a specialised terminographic tool in the area, containing the relevant terms used in French and Portuguese. This type of work does not currently exist; we therefore decided to make a contribution and draw up a proposal for a bilingual French-Portuguese dictionary in this specialised area. During our research, we registered a significant presence of English terms in International Trade texts originally written in Portuguese and in French, which may be explained by the fact that English currently has the role of global lingua franca. However, it is well known that France operates a policy of linguistic protectionism, making the use of French obligatory in all sectors of activity in France. This generated an area of doubt: how should one deal with English terms in a bilingual French-Portugese dictionary? In order to begin the search for an answer to this question, we decided to see what treatment was given to English terms in the area of International Trade in some French dictionaries. In this paper we shall present the principal results obtained during our research.

Ovariectomy-associated changes in interradicular septum and in tibia metaphysis in different observation periods in rats

In order to standardize an experimental model to study the effects of absence of ovarian hormones in maxillary bones compared with long bones, the aim of this research was to analyze the influence of ovariectomy (OVX) on rat alveolar bone and tibiae, in different observation periods. Thirty-six female rats were ovariectomized or sham operated. After 60, 90 or 120 days, the animals were sacrificed and their hemimandibles, maxillae and tibiae were removed and routinely prepared for hematoxylin and eosin staining. The percentage of bone matrix area in bone septum in the first molar furcation region, and in tibial metaphysis was calculated, and data were submitted to statistical analysis (p < 0.05). As regards the histomorphometrical analysis in jaw bones, there was no statistical difference between groups, while the effects of ovariectomy on tibiae were seen as early as 60 days. According to the methods used, there was no significant influence of absence of ovarian hormones on interradicular septum of mandibular or maxillary first molars in the periods studied, despite the reduction in bone matrix area in tibia metaphysis as early as 60 days. Nematodes severely attack net melon plants under protected cultivation conditions. The objective of this research was to select rootstocks with resistance to Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica. The experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions from October 2010 to April 2011 in Jaboticabal, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Thirty-three cucurbitaceous genotypes were investigated as rootstocks; melons: CNPH 01-930 (Cucumis melo var. flexuosus), CNPH 01-962, 01-963 CNPH (Cucumis melo var. conomon), cvs. Gaucho Redondo, Gaucho Comprido, Redondo Amarelo, Gulfcoast, Chilton, Bonus no. 2, Fantasy; watermelons: cv. Charleston Gray, Progenie da Coreia (Citrullus lanatus); pumpkins: cvs. Mra. Ma, Ornamental, Howden, Mammoth, Kururu, Goianinha (Cucurbita moschata); gourd: Abobora de Porco, cvs. Maranhao, Brasileirinha (Lagenaria siceraria); squash: cv. Pataca Gigante (Cucurbita maxima); cucumber: cvs. Caipira, Branco Meio Comprido, Curumim (Cucumis sativus); loofah: Metro, Semente Branca, Semente Preta (Luffa cylindrica); wax gourd (Benincasa hispida); pumpkin rootstock: Hybrid cv. Keij; snake gourd (Trichosanthes cucumerins) and musk cucumber (Sicana odorifera). To evaluate the resistance, seedlings were transplanted to pots and the root inoculated with 3,000 eggs and second stage juveniles of M. incognita and M. javanica. Fifty days after the inoculation, the plants were evaluated for nematode resistance by means of the reproduction factor. The grafting compatibility between net melon cvs. Bonus no. 2 and Fantasy and the rootstocks previously characterized as resistant were evaluated by means of 60 graftings. CNPH 01-962, CNPH 01-963 and melon 'Gaucho Redondo', were considered resistant to M. incognita. Melon 'Redondo Amarelo', watermelon 'Charleston Gray', watermelon Progenie da Coreia, Trichosanthes cucumerins were considered resistant to M. javanica. Benincasa hispida was resistant to M. javanica and M. incognita. The compatibility between net melons and resistant rootstocks was higher than 98%.

Using SPE-LC-ESI-MS/MS analysis to assess disperse dyes in environmental water samples

We have optimized an SPE-LC-ESI-MS/MS method and used it to monitor disperse azo dyes in environmental aquatic samples. Calibration curves constructed for nine disperse dyes-Red 1, Violet 93, Blue 373, Orange 1, Orange 3, Orange 25, Yellow 3, Yellow 7 and Red 13-in aqueous solution presented good linearity between 2.0 and 100.0 ng mL(-1). The method provided limits of detection and quantification around 2.0 and 8.0 ng L(-1), respectively. For dyes at concentrations of 25.0 ng mL(-1), the intra- and interday analyses afforded relative standard deviation lower than 6 and 13%, respectively. The recovery values obtained for each target analyte in Milli-Q water, receiving waters and treated water samples spiked with the nine studied dyes at concentrations of 8.0, 25.0 and 50.0 ng L(-1) (n = 3) gave average recoveries greater than 70%, with RSD <20%. Statistical evaluation aided method validation. The validated method proved to be useful for analysis of organic extracts from effluents and receiving water samples after an SPE extraction step. More specifically, the method enabled detection of the dyes Disperse Red 1, Disperse Blue 373 and Disperse Violet 93 at concentrations ranging from 84 to 3452 ng L(-1) in the treated effluent (TE), affluent and points collected upstream and downstream of the drinking water treatment plant of a textile dye industry in Brazil.
