Os conceitos normatizados pela legislaçao e a interpretaçao da estrutura agrária e fundiária no Brasil

Considering agrarian legislation of the last 50 years, this article expressed the objetive to identify and describe the concepts that are used for the characterization and understanding of the conformation of the brazilian agrarian space. We noted, in this context, a process of change in the laws, which suppressed the concepts of latifundio (landlordism) and minifundio (small parcels property), which created concepts of small property, of average property, of productive property and of family agriculture, but which not considered other important definitions: large farms and paternal agriculture. This substitution of interpretative concepts limits the understanding of the brazilian agrarian dynamics, especially if we consider the analysis of contradictory process of development capitalism in the field, in Brazil.

Memória e resistência na migraçao para a Amazônia : O caso de Nova Londrina em Ji-Paraná, estado de Rondônia, Brasil

The occupation of Rondônia, from the 1970s, occurred in a disorganized way, since it attracted an amount of migrants which was much bigger than the settling projects could sustain. The aim of this research was to analyze the circumstances in which the district of Nova Londrina was settled, utilizing for this reason a bibliographic survey, as well as the Oral History method. The arrival in Nova Londrina, Ji-Paraná, was highlighted by conflicts between the settlers and the settling company Calama S/A. In spite of the company's violence, the colonists resisted until there was an intervention from INCRA, through a land regularization program. In this context, the Urban Center for Rural Support (NUAR) was implanted, intending to support the agricultural workers

Conflitos ambientais na microrregião de Viçosa-MG : O conflito entre a legislação ambiental e os produtores agrícolas e o excesso de penalização dos pequenos casos de infração à legislação ambiental

The research presented in this article aims to identify and to analyze the cases of environmental conflicts in the microrregião de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brasil. For this were performed data surveys were conducted in the archives of the Ministério Público regarding the municipalities of microrregião in study and a workshop with various social movements of the mesorregião da Zona da Mata. From this survey on we check the conflict established between environmental legislation and farm workers, and also the concentration of the penalty on small cases of violations of environmental legislation. Thus, we conclude that to think about environmental conflicts is require the recognition of inequalities of power and the different types of knowledge and rationalities involved in the appropriation of natural resources by society.

Economia solidária e trabalho coletivo : Um olhar sobre a Cooperativa do Riachão no Norte de Minas Gerais - Brasil

It is intended to discuss the prospect of collective work in solidarity economy, from experiences with those of the Cooperative Riachao workers, located in a rural community in the municipality of Montes Claros, Minas Gerais / Brazil, this approximately 240 farming families extractive are benefited with the generation of jobs and income through initiatives grounded in associations, cooperatives and collectives. Among the 80 to 90 years, appeared inBrazil experiences of solidarity, resulting economy of the labor market crisis and rising unemployment, and an important response to the workers in relation to changes in the world of work. It is grounded in the organization of groups of workers, by way of solidarity, community, cooperation, and self-management reactions. In this sense, we intend to present the achievements, challenges and dilemmas of workers COOPERIACHAO, around a project that aims at empowerment of social actors and social transformation of the subject

Alfabetizaçao de idosos no Brasil : O direito á educaçao no olhar de quem aprende

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho fenomenológico realizada com idosos em processo de alfabetizaçao que procurou identificar práticas curriculares exitosas no desenvolvimento da oralidade, da escrita e da leitura de alfabetizandos(as) com mais de 65 anos de idade. A inquietaçao que gerou o tema/problema é parte do compromisso do programa de ensino, pesquisa e extensao TEIA - Trabalho Integrado em Alfabetizaçao de Jovens e Adultos que coordenamos no Departamento de Pedagogia da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina. Foram selecionados intencionalmente cinco participantes residentes na Regiao da Grande Florianópolis. Do ponto de vista dos processos de leitura e escrita, as entrevistas analisadas apontaram as seguintes dimensoes: o desejo de ler e ampliaçao dos repertórios de leitura por meio da alfabetizaçao; a alegria de ler na terceira idade e o poder da escrita nas diferentes situaçoes da vida. Este trabalho reafirma o compromisso de uma educaçao inclusiva. Entende-se que todos (as) têm o direito de ?dizerem? as suas palavras. Compreender este mundo e reinventá-lo
