The objective was to evaluate the genetic diversity of cultivars in sugar cane for resistance to D. saccharalis. The experiment was carried out in the laboratory in completely randomized design with 11 treatments (one control and 10 treatments) in ten replications. The replications were made from artificial diets (food and refood) made with dry steam crushed from sugar cane cultivars stems, except for one of them considered standard diet. The cultivars used were: RB867515, RB855453, RB855536, CTC 15, CTC 9, SP80-1842, SP79-1011, SP89-1115, SP81-3250 and SP87-365. In the evaluation biological characteristics of the insect considered were: larval development (days), larval viability (%), pupal development (days), pupal weight (g), pupal viability (%), period of hatched larvae to adults emergence (days), total viability (%) and adults longevity without food (days). The generalized Mahalanobis distance (D-2) for the cluster analysis by the method of average linkage between groups (UPGMA) and Tocher's method optimization was determined. Four and five groups were formed, respectively, by the method of average linkage between groups (UPGMA) and Tocher's method optimization. We concluded that the cultivar CTC 15 standed out as highly susceptible to D. saccharalis, while the cultivar SP87-365 behaved as moderately resistant by antibiosis to D. saccharalis.

This research has been conducted with the objective of identifying the similarities and the differences between the school management system proposed by the government and the school management system applied on a daily basis by the school management team. This management team is composed by the school principal, the coordinator teacher, and the educational supervisor of a school in the inner state of Sao Paulo. Data is being collected researching the references already existed about the school management system, documents and files of the school, and by an interview with the management team. It is expected that this research will identify the close and the distant aspects between the evaluation of the management team about itself and the evaluation conducted by the school in the process of educational evaluations. The data obtained through this research job is being analyzed considering its quality aspects.

A good catheter implantation technique is important to allow effective peritoneal access function and long-term technique survival. Studies regarding results obtained by nephrologists in comparison with different techniques have been limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the rate of early catheter-related complications and catheter survival in two Brazilian centers, according to two different percutaneous methods of catheter implantation performed by nephrologist team. Adult incident patients recruited from January 2006 to July 2013 having undergone first peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter implantation were included in the analysis. Mechanical and infectious early complication rates were defined as time to the first event occurring up to 3 months. Four hundred and forty-five consecutive Tenckhoff catheters were implanted by nephrologist team percutaneously after antibiotic prophylaxis in an operating room: trocar was used in 349 (78.4 %) and Seldinger technique (ST) in 99 (21.6 %). The ST was significantly associated with a lower rate of leak (16.3 vs 3 %, p = 0.03) and outflow failure due to tip catheter migration (22.6 vs 10.1 %, p = 0.04), while early infectious complication rates were similar between the two groups (p = 0.59). Long-term catheter survival was higher in Seldinger group (log-rank, p = 0.031). By Cox multivariate analysis, adjusted for age, sex, and diabetes, the ST remained independently associated with better catheter survival [HR 0.681 (0.462-0.910), p = 0.04]. As conclusion, our experience showed better PD outcomes with the ST than trocar method of catheter implantation by nephrologist.

This study aimed to analyze the use of technological resources by teachers during their daily practice, especially the computer, in public and private elementary schools in Botucatu - SP. We know that today's society, called the Information Society and Knowledge, changes the context of education, since students have access to various information a short time. For this purpose, we use literature as a methodology and data collection through the application of a questionnaire answered by 49 students in public schools, state and private network cited. The choice of the students took place because of the diversity of schools in which they live. Our intention was not to make generalizations, but knowing more about the use of technology in these contexts from the perspective of students. The choice of subject had reason for their timeliness and necessity of knowledge, thus contributing to a comprehensive education and quality. Through data analysis, was explicit the difference between public and private schools, however, student interest was unanimous by the technologies and equitably

É sabido que o movimento humano é mais do que simples deslocamento do corpo no espaço. Ao movimentarem-se, os alunos expressam sentimentos, emoções e pensamentos, ampliando as possibilidades do uso significativo de gestos e posturas corporais. A vergonha é tida como um sentimento (desde que se tenha sua percepção) de desconforto, podendo comprometer o relacionamento do indivíduo socialmente e seu equilíbrio interior. Trata-se de uma emoção de auto-avaliação, um sentimento de insegurança, provocado pelo medo do ridículo. Esse processo se instala a partir do momento que somos observados, julgados e sofremos comparações pelos nossos pares, ou por nós mesmos. Os sentimentos de medo, ansiedade e vergonha se associam. Dentre as situações de medo, relacionadas à exposição, o medo de fracassar em um jogo; medo do vexame, por exemplo, leva o indivíduo a duvidar de suas capacidades, interferindo negativamente em sua atuação. Durante as aulas de Educação Física na escola, os alunos se sentem livres para se expressarem demonstrando suas emoções mais facilmente, construindo suas personalidades e manifestando suas individualidades, que muitas vezes, em outros departamentos da escola são reprimidas. Desta forma, este estudo analisou as alterações nos estados emocionais dos alunos, com idade entre 16 e 18 anos, durante as atividades desenvolvidas nas aulas de Educação Física Escolar; bem como verificou a existência e quais as principais causas das emoções “medo e vergonha” e por fim avaliou se essas emoções podem interferir na participação dosalunos nas aulas. Os participantes constituíram-se de 40 alunos, sendo que 20 alunos do sexo feminino e 20 alunos do sexo masculino, com idade entre 16 e 18 anos. Le corpus de ce travail est constitué par le conte ―Le passe-muraille‖ de Marcel Aymé. À travers la traduction du conte, notre objectif est d’abord de commenter les difficutés trouvées et les solutions données tout du long du processus. En plus, le conte est analisé sous la perspective de la théorie du fantastique, pour montrer que cet ouvrage conserve des caractéristiques du récit fantastique traditionnel du XIX siècle, mais en même temps ces caractériques sont presentées d’une façon tout à fait différente
