Sarcophagidae do México, capturados pelo professor A. Dampf. (Diptera)

This paper is based on Sarcophagid flies taken by prof. A. DAMPF at CHAPULTEPEC (D.F.) and Cuernavaca (State of Morelos), mexico. The author examines 33 species and a subspecies belonging to 13 genera, including 6 new species and a new subspecies. One species of the genus Oxysarcodexia was found also at Texas, U. S. A. by Dr. H. J. Reinhard.

Pediculose capitis: prevalência em escolares da Rede Municipal Pública de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil

During 1985, 50,356 children and adolecents from 105 public schools of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais State were questioned about or examined for head lice (Pediculus capitis). The mean prevalence of pediculosis, obtainde from the questionnaires and sometimes confirmed by head inspections, was 7.7% or else 10.2% when adjusted to 38,311 respondents. Current and past infestations combined - within a period of three months before survey - revealed a total prevalence of 57.4%. Significant differences were observed among socioeconomic levels, and grades of school age. The more prevalent categories among the factors studied were: sex - femal: 9.2% (P<0.001); ethnic group - white: 10.0% (P<0.001); hair length - long: 9.5% (P<0.05); year age-group - 1-5 years: 19.2% (P<0.001), with a peak in the 5th year (21.3%).

This Final Report is the culmination of a two-stage process aimed at fulfilling the request of the previous Minister for Health and Children (Mary Harney) in relation to the practice of symphysiotomy in Ireland. Aquest treball fa una incursió en els Gestors de Continguts del mercat especialitzats en entorns educatius i es divideix en dues parts: En la primera es fa una comparativa entre els gestors de continguts Moodle, Atutor i Aula Wiki a través de la seva Avaluació Heurística basada en els principis de Jakob Nielsen.En la segona part, a partir del gestor de continguts que ha obtingut millor puntuació en la Avaluació Heurística, es realitza un Test d'Usuaris amb professors d'ensenyament secundari de diverses Àrees.
