Germinação, desenvolvimento e colheita da semente na mulher-terra: orientação de gestantes do SUS de Rio Claro sobre gestão e parto

Ao viver uma gestação, a mulher passa por mudanças biológicas, somáticas, psicológicas e sociais. É de fundamental importância que as gestantes recebam apoio, sejam orientadas sobre tais mudanças e também sobre o parto, momento comumente temido por elas. A assistência pré-natal é oferecida em nível nacional pelo Ministério da Saúde, que propõem a realização de ações educativas e a criação de grupos de apoio, que visam complementar o atendimento realizado nas consultas médicas. Porém, apesar de serem preconizadas, tais ações ainda são insuficientes ou insatisfatórias. O presente estudo visa contribuir com a área de Educação em Saúde buscando, a partir do conhecimento da realidade de gestantes, realizar uma ação de orientação, com a intenção de complementar o pré-natal realizado em Unidades de Saúde da Família (USFs). Para tanto, o objetivo geral da pesquisa foi investigar aspectos do conhecimento e dos sentimentos de gestantes usuárias do SUS de Rio Claro a respeito da gestação e parto, orientando-as sobre tais assuntos. A pesquisa, com abordagem Qualitativa, objetivo Descritivo e que usou como procedimento técnico a Pesquisa-ação, ocorreu no município de Rio Claro e teve como sujeitos 15 gestantes. A coleta de dados se deu através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, que foram gravadas e de um diário de campo. Foi elaborado um material contendo 16 imagens coloridas, que foram utilizadas nas orientações individuais com o intuito de esclarecer os processos da gestação e parto. Os dados foram analisados através da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo. A maioria das entrevistadas afirmou que não planejava engravidar e, ainda assim, mais da metade delas não fazia uso de nenhum método contraceptivo, mostrando que não houve um planejamento familiar efetivo. Basquetebol X temas transversais: a produção de material didático audiovisual para a Educação Física escolar

This study aimed, first, produce a kind of educational materials in audiovisual format, to the Physical Education, addressing the Transversal Themes in view of the basketball. The themes chosen were Cultural Plurality, addressing the basketball in a wheelchair, and Labor and Consumer Affairs, addressing the marketing and exploitation of labor force that the company is Nike. There is no doubt the importance of media production in contemporary society, as one of its main languages, but of little relevance in the school environment, especially in the area of Physical Education. In a second phase aimed at evaluating the feasibility of this material both as a teaching strategy, such as content of learning lessons. The evaluation was made through a discussion in the form of focus groups with 10 students from 9 th grade of elementary school. The results showed that despite an initial rejection of the material as a teaching strategy because of the history that Physical Education has for several years, students were open to new ways of learning. Since the results on the material, such as learning content, showed that the videos were able to address and the Transversal Themes and meet the need for procedural content with the proposed activities. With this, we realize that students are willing to discuss matters that are not always addressed, but now, with the creation of national curriculum standards should be reflected in the classroom

The theme of this project is the animal world, focusing on Bauru. The magazine Bauru Animal was born from the lack of publications addressing the issue of animals under the focus of their rights in this county. The treatment we give to animals is an important ethical and moral issue that should be discussed by the press. In Bauru there is an animal protection movement, whether organized or independent people. And there are many problems about the animals. The intent of the magazine is to report the status of animals in the city, checking legislation and getting into the philosophical field: we have the right to treat animals as mere environmental and economic resource? For the preparation of the materials were performed several interviews, documented in audio files and performed with the authors' theoretical Cremilda Medina and José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy. The animal issue is cross-cutting issue that involves all traditional media editorials and allows public bodies to discuss assignments, ethical, moral and legal, the role of the citizen in society and many other issues relevant to the media

O trabalho dos catadores de materiais recicláveis de Presidente Prudente, São Paulo: um estudo aplicado na COOPERLIX e na coleta seletiva municipal

This work focuses on analyzing the organization of the Workers Cooperative Recyclable Products of Presidente Prudente (COOPERLIX) and selective collection of municipal service. Aiming to analyze the issue of solid waste and the work of collectors of recyclable materials in an organized Economic Development Outreach (ESS). Throughout the work was carried out theoretical approaches on the issue of solid waste, the precarious work of scavengers, some laws, among others, were conducted several field studies over the years 2011 and 2012 in COOPERLIX, with the realization meetings and debates on various subjects; tools were also used Geographic Information Systems mainly in the production of selective collection of municipal map, now at 100% of the urban area of Presidente Prudente. Finally, we carried out a comprehensive analysis of the situation of the productive and financial COOPERLIX during those two years, checking their capability and weaknesses

Medidas de adequação dos impactos causados por uma indústria de esmagamento de soja

In the last years, environmental issues are being gradually addressed because of awareness regarding the limitation of natural resources for the maintenance of life on Earth, and the role played by the media in reporting on various issues that are related to the theme. In the industrial sector, this topic becomes ever more present in its planning. With the increase of production activities, the generation of waste causes many complications, both in industry and in the environment. For this reason laws and rules were created so that such problems are minimized, thus causing less impact on the environment. In this work was a study of the possible environmental impacts in a soybean crushing industry, situated in the city of Osvaldo Cruz, São Paulo state, detailing the sources and impacts of waste generation, and associate them relevant laws. From this, measures were proposed measures of adequacy involving compliance with commitments to environmental agencies, relevant requests of buyers and / or suppliers and improving environmental performance

A magia em um texto técnico agronômico da antiguidade romana: o 'Opus agriculturae', de Paládio

This work analyses the chapter 35, book I, of the agricultural treatise Opus agriculturæ, written by Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus Palladius (V C.E.). In that chapter the author presents some recipes, called remedia, to protect the farm and the garden against weeds and weather phenomena, as blight and fogs. The magical practices are identified according to both the fundamental principles of magic (similarity, contiguity, contrariety), which rule magical thought, and some elements of magical symbology. As the author seems not to distinguish magic and science, for he brings together both kinds of recipes, the analysis of some remedia emphasizes a specific study on the materials and substances employed in those recipes and their value in Science today. This leads to the discussions of how magical thought works, what are the limits (if they actually exist) between Magic and Science and between Magic and Religion. This work covers the subjects above and it has the following pourposes: demonstrate the characteristics that authorize the remedia described by Palladius to be classified as folk magic; identify the relations between this kind of practice with more complex forms of magic, as with religion, with science; demonstrate the contribution of the folk magic in ancient Rome farming for the formulation of more apropriated criteria of evaluating magic in comparison to religious and scientific thought.

Implicações da Escola de Física CERN para a prática pedagógica de professores

Para que a inserção de conteúdos de Física Moderna e Contemporânea ocorra de maneira eficiente no ensino médio é necessária a atualização dos professores. Assim, desde 2010 a SBF realiza a Escola de Física CERN, na qual participam professores brasileiros de física. Perante isso, investigamos as contribuições desta escola para a prática pedagógica dos professores. Os resultados mostram que o ensino de partículas é realizado de maneira muito incipiente, justificado pelo fato do currículo ainda ser clássico, pela falta de tempo ou pela cobrança dos exames avaliativos. Ao mesmo tempo em que os professores mencionam abordar a física de partículas, eles relatam que assuntos de física moderna e contemporânea não fazem parte do currículo de suas escolas. Concluímos que alguns professores não ensinam a física de partículas ou o abordam mesmo que ele não faça parte da grade curricular.

Particle Physics in the teaching practice of the participants of the School of Physics CERN

A atualização dos currículos escolares e, em especial, a inserção de assuntos de física moderna e contemporânea já foram defendidos com justificativas satisfatórias, tanto por professores em atividade escolar como por pesquisadores da área de ensino de física. Entre os assuntos que deveriam ser discutidos encontramos a Física das Partículas Elementares. O ensino deste tópico é justificado pelo fato dele permitir a discussão: a) de uma nova visão de mundo; b) de uma visão mais adequada da ciência; c) da reinterpretação da Física Clássica; d) da dinâmica da Ciência e seu desenvolvimento; e) da contribuição dos diversos cientistas; f) do papel da experimentação; g) do investimento financeiro e cooperativo de diversos países e pesquisadores. No entanto, para que a inserção de assuntos de física moderna e contemporânea ocorra de maneira eficiente é necessária a atualização dos professores que já estão em docência escolar, bem como uma formação adequada daqueles que estão em processo de formação inicial. Neste sentido, desde 2010 a Sociedade Brasileira de Física realiza anualmente a Escola de Física do CERN, na qual participam professores brasileiros de física de escolas públicas do Ensino Médio. Nesta escola são desenvolvidas aulas sobre física de partículas, sessões experimentais e visitas aos laboratórios do CERN. Perante isso, investigamos como os professores participantes da Escola de Física do CERN abordam a física de partículas em suas aulas após participarem dela.

The phenomenon of the World Wide Web, the Internet, has revolutionized the way we live in a contemporary relevance. The relationships among people have changed since the media also changed: the cyberspace has been established as an important vehicle of communication in which different languages, cultures and peoples coexist. Within the virtual space there are several fica possibilities for communication, interaction, fun, knowledge etc. Everything happens extremely quickly. An interesting example of that are blogs that, to survive virtuality, require constant updating. It has become interesting to notice the factor of personal expressiveness taking a new shape in the context of network, before being seen in elements such as diaries, poetry, artistic production or debate. The chances and, thus, the need to find people to interact and to share interests has taken a gigantic proportion, and, in this way, sources of audiovisual and reading activities are always in vogue, being shared every second. Blogging can be about different subjects, but what is perceived on all blogs is the strong trace of written text is always presented. Twitter has established itself as a microblogging network for the expression of dynamism, information sharing and interaction. Thus, it was interesting to approach the manner language is expressed in these microblogs thinking about the way that literary discourse is constructed when is seen, on quotations, in the context of this social network: Twitter. Being able to attest the great increase on the occurrences of quotes from different literary genres, it was useful to pay attention to this fact. In Brazil, Twitter has thousands of users, fans and readers, that rewrite and quote authors. Proposição de uma prática experimental significativa em aulas de física

A remarkable characteristic of the physics subject is the abstraction ability needed during the learning process, which means a non-trivial comprehension and understanding. If the students could not link the themes learned in this subject with observable effects, physics would tend to be a group of mathematical formulas to be memorized. In general, it creates a distance between the student and the subject, and also a prejudice vision of the physics, sometimes for the whole life. Beyond this particular characteristics of physics, the education deals with a source of distraction reinforced by the popularization of mobile access such as cellphones and tablets. The traditional role played by the teacher becomes weak to attract student’s attention. It is necessary that the classes could be planned in such way to achieve three goals: attract student attention, link analytical concepts with real effects and, the most important, gives to the student the ability to use the learned concepts as the key to develop new knowledge. In this work, we present a research based in some experiments used in a CBEF (Brazilian magazine about physical education) and develop an activity consistent with the aims to be reached. To prepare of the experimental activity, we based on Piaget and Vygotsky theories.
