The chemistry is a science little adored by students, because it is a modeling science. The study in chemistry needs a little of abstraction to be able to view something that can not being viewed, that is why chemistry uses many models and tools. The periodic table is a tool useful, but complicated to be understood, where many students end up just decorating for a test, and losing interest in class. The use of ludic games is a way to facilitate the teaching-learning process, because a game has rules to be followed, so the student will get involved to the content to be studied in addition to having to respect rules. Therefore, it is needed that teachers make their lectures more attractive for their students. This work has analyzed an alternative method for teaching the periodic table using basic computer resources, in order to propose a ludic game to a different class, seeking to get the students attention in order to facilitate the understanding of the content

A temática envolvendo a pedagogia universitária vem se constituindo num campo epistemológico profícuo envolvendo a urgência da qualificação do trabalho docente no âmbito universitário. Esta pesquisa está contida numa das frentes que o Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Pedagogia Universitária (GEEPU) da UNESP de Rio Claro vem desenvolvendo sobre o trabalho dos professores universitários. O foco dessa pesquisa é o estudo acerca das concepções de projetos de extensão e na maneira que vem acontecendo essas ações apontando a necessidade do melhor entendimento da ação do professor mediante o papel da extensão correlacionado ao ensino e a pesquisa por meio dos seus projetos e programas nos Institutos de Biociências (IB), do Instituto de Geociência e Ciências Exatas (IGCE) da UNESP de Rio Claro e da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ/USP) UNESP/Rio Claro e na ESALQ/USP. Optamos por uma abordagem qualitativa por meio de um estudo de caso, onde foi realizada análise documental de todos os projetos de extensão das referidas universidades com a seleção de alguns deles junto aos seus respectivos coordenadores no sentido de melhor entender, compreender e aprender acerca desses projetos e suas possíveis correlações na qualificação do ensino e da pesquisa na ação profissional do professor universitário. Acreditamos que o referido estudo trouxe contribuições importantes na medida em que apontou um quadro preocupante no contexto universitário onde tanto a ação do docente e o papel da universidade devam ser amplamente revistos, discutidos e refletidos, garantindo a indissociabilidade do ensino, pesquisa e extensão em espaços institucionais que possam, de fato, garantir essa articulação

The evolution in telecommunications with the extensive use of optical fiber following the technological expansion and data transmission demand becomes a necessity today. In this paper a literature review with technical concepts, feasibility of projects and applications in data collection with comparisons and highlights of the current situation of this advance is presented. The benefits of using optical fiber and the advantages of FTTH architecture are identified, as well as concrete and devised projects that make this theme reality and future prospects in the continuity of speed increase and allowed broadcasts growth

The aim of this paper is to gather research information and studies posted about the importance of social environment in the development of symbolic systems on children. Languages verbal, visual and written are interrelated representation systems, although each one has its own characteristics and elements. The objective of this paper is to elucidate the importance of linking the various existing types of language and therefore the importance of a coordinate approach also in the teaching-learning situations of these systems. The work also intends to disclose how thin is the line that separates writing of drawing, both of them as representative systems. As well as to show how visual information and language are intrinsically linked as thought happens by the connections between them. The work includes the report of an activity with Japanese ideograms done in the author's teacher's training at formal education. It also approaches pictographic, creative and poetic aspects of ideograms that brings up new ways of thinking and representing symbolically just like the methods of artistic language

This paper deals with the homologation process for obtaining carbon credits through the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), that regulates the greenhouse gases reductions under the rules of the Kyoto Protocol. The CDM evaluates projects through a project cycle, which begins with the preparation of the Project Design Document (PDD) until the project certification to receive Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), popularly known as carbon credits. This study analyzed the implementation of the system Burner Recorder System for Low Flows of Biogas (QRBBV), developed by Marcelino Junior & Godoy (2009), in an eco-friendly wastewater treatment mini-plant (miniEETERA), built at the site of UNESP - Guaratinguetá SP. The QRBBV system is low cost and high reliability, developed to burn the methane generated at sites of low and variable production of biogas, which is not economically justified their energy recovery. Currently, almost all wastewater generated at the site of the campus is being treated by miniEETERA and, as a result, the biogas originated by this activity is being released into the atmosphere. Therefore, the project activity aims to capture and burn the biogas generated by miniEETERA, reducing the negative effects caused by the methane emissions into the atmosphere and, thus, claim to receive carbon credits. This work aimed to demonstrate the project applicability under CDM through the study and preparation of the PDD, as well as an analysis of the entire project cycle required for homologation. The result of the work obtained an estimate of only 20 CERs per year and proved to be economically unviable for approval through the CDM, since the spending with the approval process would not be compensated with the sale of CERs, mainly due the low carbon price in the world market. Water is an economic, strategic and social valuable resource of the utmost importance to society. This renewable natural resource is increasingly scarce with the growing of populations, industries and agriculture, in addition to the pollution surface and underground water and the waste have aggravated this situation. Investments in the sector of water resources so that this resource meets in quantity and quality the demand from its multiple uses, represent a significant portion of national and regional budgets. Therefore, the use of alternative sources of water capture can reduce the pressure on conventional public water supply systems. In this work was designed and executed a rain water collection system to a residence in the city of Barueri (SP), which can be applied to other residences. In this system, the rooftop of the residence was used as the waterproof and capture area. The gutter and the PVC conductors were used for driving the water to two connected reservoirs. The stored water was designed to address activities that are not potable, such as washing clothes and external areas and garden irrigation. The system showed economic viability, with 34-month return of investment time, wherein after that period, in addition to environmental and social benefits derived from the implementation of the project, the economy made with the payment of public supply rates should be considered. This rainwater capture system is inexpensive and uses materials available in the market. Therefore, its application to a greater number of households should be encouraged as a measure of sustainable water management

This paper presents a study based on bibliographic research on LTE technology, chosen for the fourth generation of mobile phones, and the current status of implementation of 4G network in Brazil. The change in user behavior, which now uses data over the voice services, requires transmission networks to be increasingly robust and fast to enable the viewing of videos and use of other platforms that require internet connection. The retrospective of the development of mobile technologies, from 1G up to 4G that is currently used, shows the long road until it came to appliances and how the phone is used nowadays. Finally, the popularity of smartphones and hence the growing number of people with access to 4G networks, demanded new researchs for the development of future generations technologies in order to achieve the demand for speed enabling significant changes in user experience
