Imaging TC ed analisi tessiturale: caratterizzazione del parenchima polmonare di pazienti con broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva

La caratterizzazione del parenchima polmonare è un aspetto cruciale per l’identificazione dell’enfisema e dell’air trapping in pazienti affetti da broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva (BPCO). L’innovazione presente in questo lavoro di tesi è quella di utilizzare a questo scopo l’analisi tessiturale mediante il metodo delle matrici di co-occorrenza su immagini di tomografia computerizzata (TC) acquisite in inspirio ed espirio co-registrate. La co-registrazione che ha portato le immagini acquisite in espirio sullo stesso sistema di riferimento di quelle acquisite in inspirio è avvenuta utilizzando la trasformazione diffeomorfa B-Spline SyN, implementata nel software ANTs, ed è stata applicata sia alle immagini TC che alle features estratte da esse. Dalle matrici di co-occorrenza è stata calcolata la feature Energia, che misura l’uniformità dei livelli di grigio contenuti nell’immagine, e quindi la sua omogeneità. Partendo dal fatto che le aree parenchimali affette da enfisema e air trapping hanno alti livelli di omogeneità dovuti alla presenza dell’aria intrappolata al loro interno, l’idea alla base di questo lavoro è stata quella di identificare queste aree attraverso gli alti valori che l’Energia assume in loro corrispondenza. Sono state quindi stabilite sperimentalmente alcune soglie basate sui valori assunti dall’Energia in inspirio e in espirio. Sulla base di queste il parenchima polmonare è stato clusterizzato in diverse aree identificanti i tessuti sani, quelli affetti da enfisema e quelli affetti dall’air trapping. La clusterizzazione ottenuta è risultata coerente con la reale distribuzione dell’enfisema e dell’air trapping nei pazienti analizzati, dimostrando la validità della tecnica utilizzata e aprendo nuovi scenari futuri alla caratterizzazione del parenchima polmonare in questa patologia.

Proprioception in ankle sprain from exercises and bandages

Ankle sprains are the most common injuries in sports, usually causing damage to the lateral ligaments. Recurrence has as usual result permanent instability, and thus loss of proprioception. This fact, together with residual symptoms, is what is known as chronic ankle instability, CAI, or FAI, if it is functional. This problem tries to be solved by improving musculoskeletal stability and proprioception by the application of bandages and performing exercises. The aim of this study has been to review articles (meta-analisis, systematic reviews and revisions) published in 2009-2015 in PubMed, Medline, ENFISPO and BUCea, using keywords such as “sprain instability”, “sprain proprioception”, “chronic ankle instability”. Evidence affirms that there does exist decreased proprioception in patients who suffer from CAI. Rehabilitation exercise regimen is indicated as a treatment because it generates a subjective improvement reported by the patient, and the application of bandages works like a sprain prevention method limiting the range of motion, reducing joint instability and increasing confidence during exercise. As podiatrists we should recommend proprioception exercises to all athletes in a preventive way, and those with CAI or FAI, as a rehabilitation programme, together with the application of bandages. However, further studies should be generated focusing on ways of improving proprioception, and on the exercise patterns that provide the maximum benefit.

Setor informal: um estudo sobre os camelôs do Shopping Popular em Cuiabá - MT/2003

The phenomenon of the informality has been common in the quarrels that involve Sciences Social and Human. First for not corresponding to a temporary and isolated phenomenon, and on the other hand for dealing with a presente situation in the majority of the Brazilian urban centers. In Cuiabá municipality, the alternative commerce appears as a social answer to the problems caused for the economic crisis of the country and seems to be deep-rooted to the urban landscape. This assignment angles was the street peddlers, in special that ones who develop their in a specific location on lowered of Cuiabá. Researches pretending to fill a blank of information about this subject involve theoritical and empirical levels. The theory searched to raise in a generalized manner given pertinent the informality and the pratical level through field research searched to analyze excellent aspects on the economic and occupational situation of a composed sample for two hundred and theree workers who develope the pratical one of the informal commerce in Shopping Popular in Cuiaba/MT. The analysis of gotten data alllowed to appreciate some excellent aspects with regard to the activity os the peddler, as: origni, formation, income, perspectives with regard to activity among others. In las analysis it still alllowed to verify the factors that condition the permanence these workers in this type of informal activity

INCLUSÃO DIGITAL NO ENSINO MÉDIO: ANÁLISE DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA TECNOLOGIA NA ESCOLA ES-TADUAL DEPUTADO JOÃO EVARISTO CURVO DA CIDADE DE JAURU - MT

RESUMO   O presente trabalho pretende identificar quais as dificuldades encontradas para a implementação da inclusão digital no Ensino Médio da Escola Estadual Deputado João Evaristo Curvo, na cidade de Jauru, Mato Grosso. Os objetivos da pesquisa serão: Identificar os principais ambientes de aprendizagem digital dos alunos do Ensino Médio; Descrever as formas de apropriação da tecnologia da informação realizadas pelos educadores, educandos e pela instituição e avaliar a eficácia da tecnologia da informação para a implementação da inclusão digital e social dos mesmos. A metodologia utilizada para a realização do trabalho será a pesquisa caracterizada como qualitativa descritiva, e ela se dará através de observações e questionários. Através da análise dos resultados buscar-se-á pensar e repensar a realidade vivenciada pelo educador em salas no Ensino Médio e na validação de um modo mais viável para a implementação da inclusão digital. Na medida em que a reflexão for realizada esta pesquisa deverá contribuir para facilitar a busca e o interesse dos estudantes pela aprendizagem e pelas inovações tecnológicas, a fim de que os mesmos disponham de um patrimônio intelectual e encontrem condições de autorrealização e crescimento sociocultural, pois a interação escolar exige-se uma postura adequada de todos os envolvidos, e variedades educacionais que devem ser trabalhadas na prática do processo de ensino pedagógico. Palavras-chave: Implementação. Regulation of mitotic BubR1 phosphorylation by the BubR1 pseudokinase domain

BubR1 est une protéine importante dans le point de contrôle de la mitose pour la stabilisation des interactions entre kinétochores et microtubules (KT-MT). Ces fonctions protègent de la ségrégation anormale des chromosomes et de l’instabilité du génome. BubR1 possède des sites de phosphorylation mitotique hautement conservés dans le domaine régulant l’attachement des kinétochores (KARD), où S676 et S670 sont phosphorylées respectivement par la kinase polo-like 1 (Plk1) et par la kinase cycline-dépendante 1 (Cdk1). Ces sites de phosphorylation sont essentiels pour le recrutement de la phosphatase PP2A-B56, qui stabilise les interactions KT-MT. Nos résultats montrent que la délétion entière ou des mutations qui déstabilisent le domaine pseudokinase de BubR1, causent la perte de phosphorylation des résidus S676 et S670 en mitose. Notre hypothèse est que le domaine pseudokinase de BubR1 peut jouer un rôle essentiel dans la régulation de la phosphorylation du KARD et donc dans la stabilisation des interactions KT-MT.

Padrões de captação de constraste do útero TC e RM

Ao contrário da ecografia e da ressonância magnética (RM), a tomografia computadorizada (TC) não é uma técnica de primeira linha no estudo da patologia pélvica feminina. Contudo, a TC é frequentemente utilizada na avaliação de patologia pélvica não ginecológica, nomeadamente em contexto de urgência ou de seguimento, na qual os órgãos ginecológicos são englobados. Nestas situações, o padrão de captação de contraste endovenoso pelo corpo e colo do útero na TC pode ser de difícil interpretação e por vezes simular patologia, dado o amplo espectro de padrões de captação de contraste endovenoso, de variantes anatómicas e/ou de patologia subjacente. Neste artigo as autoras revêm e ilustram os padrões de captação de contraste endovenoso pelo útero em TC e RM e possíveis pitfalls, permitindo diferenciar os aspectos normais e patológicos do útero em TC.
