The radio is just not seen as conveying information, but a media able to establish ways that generate certain direction. We see an inclusion of the listener in the construction of programs, is exposing their life stories, commenting on facts, answering questions, choosing subjects and participating in some form of radio programming. This insertion of the listener in radio programs is generally thought of as a constituent element of the message. This study aims to analyze the participation of the listener and the forms of interaction in the " Debates of the People" that thirty- past two years is the schedule for CBN Fortaleza. The investigation was conducted through observation in studio, interview, transcription, content analysis and association analysis. This is a qualitative and quantitative research while. We found that the listeners of the program had no acceptance of interactive tools such as the Internet and social networks to make their holdings. In clipping analyzed, we noted that the participation of the listener was selected according to their relationship and proximity to the topic discussed. Also detected that the opinion is superior to the listener questions on the topic. The presenter has the function to put the questions in the listener program. Among the public comments are questions and opinions on the subject and speaks of the debaters. This current work s contains issues about the educative dimension of work and its organization s process and managing for it own professionals. It aims to understand how the skills and pedagogic process, in a educative praxis perspective. Are based in a new culture of work of education process an work managing by workers in Handcraft Association of Serido/ Caicó/ RN. It uses as a methodologic-theoric reference cases s study approach, selecting the procedures of part extructure interview. It was done with six embroidereses from the Handcraft Association. The research shows that the educative process of learning and knowledges construction, in the work and by the work. Those processes develop in exchange experiences net in a friendly economic environment and raise elements of a work culture personal that work there. The embroidereses learn how to embroid doing the job and this learning, a lot of times, is influenced by the life conditions, residence local and infantile work in the country area and the living to the urban area, particularly to Caicó. The knowledge relation between them is the matter fact in the embroider learning process that means a social relation based on the knowledge differences between their position in its structure involving the work division, that each handcraft maker knows every part of the embroider, type of work or machine type, step by step until the work is done. It involves decision, execution and machine movements repetition, the focus are the categories that fit in current flexible financial issue. They schedule the work at home so they have time to do other stuff. Most part of the production currently is done to obey de a certain request that aims as production target, being a homework. Another important issue is the embroider work time: time and experience that is within in the professional life and its knowledge representation of job/profession. This time is got as a acquisition process of certain a work dominion and self knowing; time added to changes that were being there practicing from the new characteristics in the furniture, clothes and towels that are in the introduction communicative and its effect. In this way this work include articulations process among skills, educative process and handcraft work organization that allowed the interpretation and finish, that are related to the case study and its developments: handcraft embroidered considered as a profession, money source not conventional where is not work available and a temporary activity while studyng, homework and flexible work

OBJETIVO: Estudar prospectivamente a população internada em um hospital-dia (HD) em relação a fatores que poderiam influenciar na melhora e na duração da internação. MÉTODOS: Foram entrevistados, para obtenção de dados sociodemográficos e avaliação da evolução, 34 pacientes internados no Hospital-Dia da Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu, Unesp, durante um ano. O diagnóstico psiquiátrico foi avaliado pela CIDI (Composite International Diagnostic Interview), a sintomatologia psiquiátrica pela BPRS (Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale) e a incapacitação psicossocial pela DAS (Psychiatric Disability Assessment Schedule). Todos os pacientes foram acompanhados, e seus familiares, entrevistados. RESULTADOS: Predominaram mulheres (76%), jovens (61,8%), sem vínculo conjugal (71%), sem trabalho (82,4%), com diagnóstico de transtornos afetivos (44,1%) e com internações psiquiátricas prévias (44%). Apenas quatro (12%) pacientes apresentavam uma síndrome maior segundo BPRS. Houve considerável incapacitação psicossocial dos pacientes em alguns papéis sociais. Maior renda per capita foi um fator associado à melhor evolução. As internações duraram em média 74 dias. Pacientes com internações prévias tenderam a permanecer menos tempo no HD. CONCLUSÕES: Portadores de transtornos afetivos e quadros não-psicóticos geralmente não necessitam de internação por período integral em hospital psiquiátrico. Contudo, os pacientes deste estudo tiveram um elevado número de internações psiquiátricas prévias, provavelmente por necessitarem de um nível de atendimento além das possibilidades dos ambulatórios. Entretanto, pacientes com maior número de internações -- em tese mais graves -- tenderam a permanecer menos tempo no HD, o que suscita dúvidas quanto à sua adesão a serviços abertos, bem como aos possíveis fatores facilitadores dessa adesão. em um momento de crescimento expressivo no número de serviços de internação parcial no Brasil, como nos últimos anos, mais estudos são necessários a fim de esclarecer para quem e para quê são destinados esses serviços.

The fuel consumption is an important factor in the vehicle development due the fact that it has a direct effect on its trade aims. Besides that, it is known that the petrol is a scarce fuel. In this paper it is presented a procedure of fuel consumption calculation for a vehicle traveling in driving schedule. In such calculation it has been taken into account the operational conditions (load, pavement, climbing road, among others) and the building characteristics (map engine, transmission, frontal area, tire, among others) of road vehicles. There has also been an application of the theoretical model developed in a sample Mercedes-Benz do Brasil vehicle which has been compared with the values of experimental tests. We investigated the effect of a meal feeding schedule (MFS) on food intake, hepatic glycogen synthesis, hepatic capacity to produce glucose and glycemia in rats. The MFS comprised free access to food for a 2-hour period daily at a fixed mealtime (8.00-10.00 a.m.) for 13 days. The control group was composed of rats with free access to food from day 1 to 12, which were then starved for 22 h, refed with a single meal at 8.00-10.00 a.m. and starved again for another 22 h. All experiments were performed at the meal time (i.e. 8.00 a.m.). The MFS group exhibited increased food intake and higher glycogen synthase activity. Since gluconeogenesis from L-glutamine or L-alanine was not affected by MFS, we conclude that the increased food intake and higher glycogen synthase activity contributed to the better glucose maintenance showed by MFS rats at the fixed meal time. Background: Neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) affect almost all patients with dementia and are a major focus of study and treatment. Accurate assessment of NPS through valid, sensitive and reliable measures is crucial. Although current NPS measures have many strengths, they also have some limitations (e.g. acquisition of data is limited to informants or caregivers as respondents, limited depth of items specific to moderate dementia). Therefore, we developed a revised version of the NPI, known as the NPI-C. The NPI-C includes expanded domains and items, and a clinician-rating methodology. This study evaluated the reliability and convergent validity of the NPI-C at ten international sites (seven languages). Methods: Face validity for 78 new items was obtained through a Delphi panel. A total of 128 dyads (caregivers/patients) from three severity categories of dementia (mild = 58, moderate = 49, severe = 21) were interviewed separately by two trained raters using two rating methods: the original NPI interview and a clinician-rated method. Rater 1 also administered four additional, established measures: the Apathy Evaluation Scale, the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale, the Cohen-Mansfield Agitation Index, and the Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia. Intraclass correlations were used to determine inter-rater reliability. Pearson correlations between the four relevant NPI-C domains and their corresponding outside measures were used for convergent validity. Results: Inter-rater reliability was strong for most items. Convergent validity was moderate (apathy and agitation) to strong (hallucinations and delusions; agitation and aberrant vocalization; and depression) for clinician ratings in NPI-C domains. Conclusion: Overall, the NPI-C shows promise as a versatile tool which can accurately measure NPS and which uses a uniform scale system to facilitate data comparisons across studies. Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é um fenômeno estudado em diversos países, composto de sintomas de desatenção, imperatividade e impulsividade, ocorre na infância podendo persistir até a idade adulta. Este transtorno causa prejuízos nas áreas acadêmicas, sociais e ocupacionais, reduz a auto-estima, pode evoluir para delinqüência, uso de drogas e álcool, gera estresse nas famílias, tem alto custo financeiro e impacto social. O diagnóstico é feito com base em critérios clínicos adotados pelo DSM IV e o tratamento indicado combina farmacoterapia e psicoterapia. Considerando-se que TDAH é um transtorno de desenvolvimento de autocontrole e que estudos sugerem que autocontrole pode ser adquirido em condições de treino, torna-se relevante a realização de pesquisas aplicadas utilizando princípios da análise do comportamento, para minimizar prejuízos e contribuir para melhoria de qualidade de vida de portadores de TDAH. Este estudo objetivou verificar a eficácia do uso de esquemas de reforçamento diferencial de outro comportamento (DRO) e de atraso de reforço na instalação e/ ou aumento de comportamentos de autocontrole em um menino de 9 anos diagnosticado com TDAH, que faz uso de medicamento. O participante foi exposto ao procedimento de treino de autocontrole, realizou tarefas, durante as quais, caso se comportasse como combinado, recebia reforço. Ao final de cada sessão, trocava os reforços por brinquedos e poderia escolher reservá-los para obter reforços de maior valor. O procedimento foi dividido em sete etapas: (1) entrevista com a neuropediatra; (2) análise do prontuário e convocação; (3) entrevista inicial com responsáveis; (4) visita à escola e entrevista com professores; (5) sessões de observação direta (linha de base, habituação às regras, instalação, manutenção, fading e avaliação da estabilidade); (6) followp-up; e (7) encerramento. Realizaram-se 18 sessões de observação direta, gravadas em vídeo e transcritas para a elaboração de um sistema de categorias de comportamentos para análise. Os resultados foram analisados por meio da comparação entre relatos de entrevistas, resultados de instrumentos padronizados e categorias de comportamentos observados. Identificou-se que os comportamentos de autocontrole do participante se ampliaram e generalizaram para outros contextos, durante as sessões e em domicílio, conforme os relatos dos pais e da professora da escola atual, e registro de observação direta da terapeuta-pesquisadora. Verificou-se que a utilização de esquema de reforçamento DRO com disponibilidade limitada pode favorecer o aumento de comportamentos de autocontrole e generalizações em crianças com TDAH.

BACKGROUND: It is not clear what the population's demand for dermatologists is, nor how many professionals are needed in order to provide adequate care in this area of expertise. Knowledge of the flow of patients at dermatological clinics throughout the country allows for the formation of expansion and distribution policies regarding professionals, and provides backing for the decision to increase medical residency places. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the time it takes to schedule a private dermatological consultation in Brazil, and other factors concerning consultations. METHODS: Survey with a random sample of 14% of Brazilian dermatologists, simulating the scheduling of emergency clinical and cosmetic consultations, and botulinum toxin procedures. Also, details relating to cost and professionals, were studied. Data were adjusted for each region of the country. RESULTS: A total of 873 dermatologists were evaluated. Full SBD members represented 85%, and 66% were women. The median time to schedule a consultation ranged from 6 (out-of-pocket payment) to 7 (medical insurance) consecutive working days. Times varied depending on the region. A multivariate analysis showed that out-of-pocket consultations and procedures were scheduled sooner than with medical insurance, regardless of whether they were clinical or cosmetic. CONCLUSION: The characteristics of dermatologists are varied throughout regions of the country. Private consultations and procedures are scheduled sooner than with insurance companies.
