Decision making is one of the most important factors for growth and future, both from a business, as in people's life and attitudes in the simplest of everyday day. This work aims to assist decision making in buying a laser cut machine, a manufacturer of auto parts and wheels, and later this technique can be considered to acquisition of other equipment. In this case was used the AHP to aid the decision by multiple criteria. O ensino da compostagem e produção de sabão como forma de gerenciamento dos resíduos sólidos domiciliares

Introdução: O adequado gerenciamento dos resíduos sólidos domiciliares (RSD) tem se estabelecido nas últimas décadas como um importante instrumento na diminuição do lixo doméstico destinados aos aterros. A compostagem doméstica e a produção de sabão a partir de óleo usado são alternativas para a reciclagem dos RSD que, ao contrário dos lixos recicláveis, não são explorados comercialmente. Assim, o ensino dessas técnicas para a comunidade pode ser uma ferramenta útil na educação ambiental, disseminando práticas que evitam a destinação final de resíduos sólidos em aterros e desenvolvendo valores para a sustentabilidade. Objetivos: Ensinar formas de reciclagem dos RSD através de técnicas de compostagem e produção de sabão a partir de óleo usado, servindo também como instrumento para promover a educação ambiental, e conscientizar a comunidade sobre a importância de um adequado gerenciamento de resíduos. Métodos: As atividades de ensino consistiram em duas partes, unindo teoria e prática, por meio da apresentação de painéis explicativos sobre compostagem, produção de sabão, e sobre as vantagens decorrentes desses processos seguida da realização das técnicas apresentadas, com a produção de sabão em barra e líquido com óleo usado, e pela montagem de pequenas composteiras em garrafões PET de 5 litros de água mineral reaproveitados. Resultados: As atividades foram realizadas em eventos abertos a sociedade de São José do Rio Preto, tais como a Semana da Tecnologia, em outubro de 2010 e a Semana do Meio Ambiente, em junho de 2011, ambas desenvolvidas no SESC (Serviço Social do Comércio) da cidade. O público foi variado, incluindo desde aposentados e donas de casa até estudantes e profissionais de diversos setores. O interesse em anotar as metodologias explicadas culminou na idéia de produzir um material impresso que contivesse as receitas de sabão (líquido e em barra), os procedimentos e dicas de como realizar a compostagem. A convite de uma escola pública, houve também a apresentação das atividades para pais de alunos e funcionários interessados em aprender as práticas para o adequado gerenciamento dos RSD, levando à discussão das possibilidades de implantação de um projeto de compostagem na própria escola.

Dissolution representations in Chemistry textbooks: the case of PNLEM. In Chemistry education, so as in other sciences, the use of images is fundamental in the process of teaching and learning. By virtue of this, the textbooks can be a vehicle of such importance, therefore contributing with many images and representations. In this context, the present work has as objective to promote the analysis of the six books approved by the “Programa Nacional do Livro do Ensino Médio, (PNLEM)”, being the main subject of investigation, the dissolution phenomena. Although the recognized importance of opperate in the theoretical and conceptual level to understand chemistry phenomena, our results suggest the need of greater reflection concerning the emphasis attributed to this hability. And so, this paper has as purpose contributing in the reflection of the professor during the choice and use of the LDs and in the process of evaluation of the same.

This work aims to present the design and development of a speed reducer worm gear that will be implemented on an inclined treadmill that aims to raise the load below the top floor. The project start was made with research on issues related to mechanisms and machine elements, and these theories of fundamental importance in the development of device components, along with the help of SolidWorks software that was used to model the main parts of the project and Microsoft Office Excel 2007 was used to alight formulas to perform calculations of the project. The paper demonstrates the magnitude of the constitutional statement of the dignity of the human person subscribed to the Federal Constitution of 1988 as a fundamental principle. Next, it brings reports on quality of life of residents of Vila Esperança, in the municipality of Cubatão (SP), from an ethnographic approach, descriptive and photographic documentation. We could conclude that the Brazilian legal system is organized hierarchically, so the Principle of Human Dignity cannot be disregard. The vital guarantee of a minimum vital floor is essential for poor people to expand the possibilities for the full exercise of human dignity.

Human identification by means of conventional and digital Cheiloscopy: a study of the literature

One of the areas of human identification is Cheiloscopy, the name given to the study of the lips, their characteristics (such as thickness, position of the grooves and grooves) and the record of the impressions left by them. There are variations in the layout of the lines and fissures of the lips, which are unique to each individual, permanent and unchanging. The lip print rarely changes, enduring minor traumas such as inflammation or sores. In criminal investigations, lip prints, visible through the presence of lipstick, can be found on glasses, napkins, clothes, cigarettes, indicating a relationship between the subject and the scene of the crime. Latent impressions may be revealed employing specific chemicals such as powder of silver and aluminum nitrate. Although it is not a very common method, Cheiloscopy may become very useful in forensics due to the extensive amount of valuable information that it brings. The objective of this study was to review the literature on the use of Cheiloscopy in human identification, using traditional and digital methods. It was found that the literature is still in need of studies in this area. The advent of new digital technologies can facilitate the implementation of technical expertise, generating speed and objectivity. New research studies are necessary, especially in the development of digital methods. The application of Cheiloscopy can greatlyhelp with Law, in the identification of living suspects and dead individuals. In the end the benefit will fall to society as a whole.

Paulo ao grupo manifestante Black Bloc durante o segundo semestre de 2013, período seguinte às Jornadas de Junho na cidade de São Paulo. Serão analisadas as notícias veiculadas no portal de notícias do jornal, assim como as publicações do grupo de manifestantes na página oficial do Black Bloc SP do Facebook na mesma época. O centenário da ferrovia brasileira (1954): ensaio sobre a elabo-ração da memória ferroviária no Brasil

In 1954, it was celebrated the centenary of railways in Brazil. The date refers to the first section of 14.5 km of railway in Brazil (30/04/1854), in Rio de Janeiro, between Mauá and Fragoso, of the Petropolis Railway Company (Estrada de Ferro Petrópolis). Some of the texts and commemorative events indicated the symbolic values that the railroad took in the Brazilian history. Firstly, on 30.04.1954, the railway section Mauá-Fragoso and steam locomotive “Baroness” (the first used on the track) were declared national monuments(Decree No. 35,447-A, April 30, 1954). Secondly, some entities (Clube de Engenharia, Conselho Nacional de Geografia, Ministério da Viação e Obras Públicas) highlighted the importance of celebrating the Brazilian railway history and its historical significance, economic and geographical. For this, some events was occurred (the commemoration of one hundred years in Rio de Janeiro and Recife on 30.04.1954). Among the texts wrought produced, we highlight the text I Centenary of Brazilian Railroad (1954), released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística), and the National Council of Geography (Conselho Nacional de Geografia). The emphasis given to the railway refersto the geographical perspective (territorial expansion), but also makes mention of the Barãode Mauá, the founder of Petropolis Railway Company. We aim to understand the celebration from evocations about the Brazilian railroad history and some ideas that is assigned to the railway (and the Barãode Mauá), and railway heritage (the track and the locomotive “Baroneza”). On basis of this review will seek to understand how it was reconceived the railroad memory in view of these values and material elements.
