Uma análise fenomenológica do uso de jogos e materiais manipulativos no ensino de matemática

This work investigates the reasons that take teachers to use or not use manipulative materials in mathematics education as well as the knowledge that teachers of Basic Education schools of the city of Guaratingueta have about such resources. The experience in the classroom, while participating in projects, showed that these resources are important allies in knowledge production. However, we noticed that they are not often present in the teachers teaching practice. This leads us to investigate the relevance of such education resources from authors like Grando (2000) and Macedo (2012) and try to see the idea that math teachers have about their use. For this research we developed a questionnaire and we headed teachers to obtain data. Assuming a posture qualitative with phenomenological approach, organized researched data and interpreted following the procedures described by Bicudo (2011) and Machado (1994). We built three categories or regions of generality that lead us to consider that, for our research subjects, the use of manipulative materials is significant as Didactic Resources and Learning Aid, however, used from a Naïve Knowledge that does not involve reflection on practice or relies on theoretical concepts

Melhoria do planejamento para o fornecimento de materiais de modificações em aeronaves executivas

This paper presents a material demand forecasting to executive aircrafts modifications, the objective was to determinate a cadence of kits of materials in order reduce over stock, but also keeping the customer quality support. This work was motivated by the strong tendency that the market has to cut costs, especially those that do not add value to the product, waste. To solve the problem the Poisson probability distribution was used and also the error measures MPE, MAPE and MSE. At the end, after some adjustments, we found a satisfactory model for the problem

Cálculo das funções de anisotropia e radial de dose para braquiterapia com semente de 192Ir em diferentes materiais de interesse em radiologia com o auxílio do programa baseado no método de Monte Carlo MCNPX

The brachytherapy braquiterapia is an x-ray modality radiotherapy in which stamped or halfstamped radioactive sources in format of seeds are used, wires or to one short distance, in contact or implanted to the fabric to be treated. All the treatment modalities require a previous planning. The formalism recommended for calculation of dose was considered by the AAPM for the first TG-43 Report. In it distributions of dose of isolated seeds measured and calculated by Monte Carlo method in water instead of with models half-empiricists. In this work we in accordance with present some preliminary results of the calculation of functions of radial anisotropy and of dose in the distance for seed of 192Ir, wide used in brachytherapy treatments of high tax of dose (HDR), with the aid of the program based on the Monte Carlo method MCNPX v2.50 (Mount Carlo N ParticleeXtended). Recursos humanos e materiais na assistência de enfermagem a pacientes de uma unidade de tratamento de queimaduras

The burn is among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in our society. It shows a great complexity and is hard to treat. Beyond the physical suffering, the burned patient is affected by psychological distress, requiring a high level of knowledge for assistance planning. The Professional Practice Law No. 7498 establishes the nurse as in charge of the client, as leader of the nursing team and as responsable for the management of physical and human resources. The nurse has autonomy to design the quantitative and qualitative picture of the nursing staff and should use the methodologies for their suitability to the real levels of assistance needed. Material resources represent 15 to 25% of total expenditures at health organizations. Therefore, to maintain the care level, nurses must determine the needs, considering the quantitative, qualitative and financial aspects. The study aimed the survey of the human and material resources necessary for nursing care to patients in a Burns Treatment Unit and identify its epidemiological profile and its nursing diagnoses. We collected the data from medical records of hospitalized between July and August, and the nursing diagnoses were classified through the Taxonomy II proposed by the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA). The design of the picture of nurses followed the parameters of COFEN Resolution nº 293/2004. We apply the Fugulin's Patients Classification System to establish levels of the required care. The institution's Cost Center provided a spreadsheet with the purchased items, subsequently classified into ABC. Most hospitalized patients were men, aged between 20 and 50. There was a predominance of patiences with minor burned and the most common type of burn was due to fire. The average residence time was 28.71 days, and 88% of the patients were discharged... Aplicações clássicas da técnica de espalhamento de raios-x a baixo ângulo em materiais nanoestruturados

The small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) technique has been used with very much versatility and success in the structural characterization of nanostructured materials. The present work deals with a study of the principles of the SAXS technique and of some classical models employed in the structural characterization of nanostructured materials. Particularly, the study of the models and of the associated methodologies is applied to a set of samples of silica gels, of varied typical structures, prepared in the Laboratório de Novos Materiais of the Departamento de Física of the IGCE. The work discusses in an introductory chapter the principles of the SAXS technique and the foundation of classical models often used in the structural characterization of materials. The classical models and the associated methodologies were applied to a variety of silica gel structures. The studies include: i) the scattering from a system of particles - Guinier's law; ii) the asymptotic scattering from a two-phase system - Porod's law; iii) systematic deviation from Porod's law - Surface Fractal; iv) heterogeneities in solids with random size distribution - DAB Model; and v) the scattering from mass fractal structures. The analyses were carried out from experimental SAXS data obtained in several opportunities at the Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (LNLS)

Branding, Storytelling e Relações Públicas: as histórias estabelecendo relacionamentos entre marcas e consumidores

This paper related the concepts of Branding and Storytelling with the purpose to demonstrate how stories can help the mark set up a solid relationship with their public. As we speak of a relation that involves communication processes, the ideas conveyed in this paper seek demonstrate to the professionals in this area, in especial way, the public relations, that the Storytelling could be a very important tool to the process of management of the mark. Before it get into this point, some characteristic and changes of the society and of the cosumers, to evidence news challenges that up-to-dates organizations have to face. After present this context, it moves in the direction of the understanding of the concepts of mark and branding, related those with the activities of the public relations. The marks are introduced in this paper as icons that have a virtual memory able to transmit emotional burden and meanings for the consumers. Canto dos contos: o percurso de uma oficina de narração de histórias para adultos, no contexto de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a experiência de uma oficina de narração de histórias, a oficina Canto dos Contos, realizada no contexto terapêutico de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (um CAPS), equipamento do Sistema Único de Saúde (o SUS), na cidade de São Paulo, em 2012. Considerando o CAPS como parte fundamental da reforma psiquiátrica brasileira, a oficina expressiva de narração de histórias foi buscando, ao longo de seu percurso, delinear seus limites e marcar suas diferenças em relação aos espaços terapêuticos já existentes no CAPS. Assim, a partir da escuta conjunta e apreciação de narrativas, acessamos lembranças resgatadas pelos participantes e pudemos criar, relembrar e renovar memórias antes confusas e esquecidas. Como resultado final, rodas de narrativas foram realizadas dentro e fora do espaço terapêutico do CAPS e um livro foi publicado. Essa presente contextualização e reflexão acerca de um trabalho realizado por uma arte/educadora em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial faz-se oportuna, uma vez que os CAPS’s e a saúde mental como um todo são um campo que vem se abrindo, cada vez mais, para profissionais de áreas artísticas, tanto pela afinidade que as Artes sempre tiveram com pensamentos que rompem com paradigmas de realidade, quanto pela potência terapêutica existente em práticas expressivas. Esperamos que pensar e avaliar a narração de histórias utilizada como instrumento no percurso terapêutico dos pacientes de um CAPS possa contribuir para que trabalhos semelhantes, neste e em outros contextos, aprimorem as experiências aqui descritas.

Tecnologias, conceitos e propostas de materiais de construção sustentável do Centro de Vivências da UNESP, Rio Claro/SP

Due to the great impact caused by construction, the university has a major role in the development of alternative projects and studies aimed at sustainable development. This project presents the advantages and importance of building in a sustainable manner from the beginning to end of the Center of Experiences at UNESP, Rio Claro / SP. It will be presented alternative building materials that have high environmental performance and that bring the least negative impacts as possible. Providing a Center of Experiences through a sustainable building is in need of the university to renovate the new trends of society in which the construction is in harmony with the environment in which it is inserted. This sustainable building will serve as a model for students and residents of Rio Claro, since the building itself will serve as a way of learning to the audience goer, as well as for the other campuses of UNESP. Thus, this project will serve as a guide for decision makers facing the huge amount of building materials available in the market

The present work has shown the development of the comic book market in the United States and Brazil, according to Schumpeter's theory of technological innovation. Firstly was made an analysis of the Brazilian market during the years of rising inflation, after the end of dictatorship, in our country, following the trajectory of two publishers, D-arte e Circo that closed their doors due to the economic crisis. The analysis has followed until the current days, showing that the market has changed like the strategies used by publishers to keep launching comic books

Materiais didáticos para o estudo das aves: ferramenta para a educação ambiental

Exemplos da perturbação do meio ambiente pela ação humana são recorrentes. Frente a isto, fica evidente a necessidade de mudança deste quadro, pois áreas com alto valor ecológico são amplamente afetadas, prejudicando as interações entre animais e plantas, nas quais as aves se destacam, sendo elas um grupo com claro papel na dinâmica de ecossistemas e de fácil identificação. Em vários aspectos, o conhecimento científico pode ser visto como um grande aliado para esta mudança. Visando a formação de cidadãos, a Educação Ambiental mostra-se como um importante meio de conscientização. Neste contexto, este trabalho se dispôs a confeccionar um guia didático e um jogo educativo sobre as aves, destinados a alunos do 7º ano do Ensino Fundamental,, visando propiciar aprendizado durante a observação das mesmas. Os materiais foram propostos a partir de uma lista elaborada no presente estudo, que reuniu nove levantamentos realizados na Fazenda Experimental Edgardia, vinculada à Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP, Campus de Botucatu, SP, de 1992 a 2010. Uma primeira versão dos materiais foi confeccionada e avaliada por um grupo de alunos, possibilitando a produção de sua versão final

Contação de histórias e educação crítica: uma proposta didática

This proposal offers a possibility of approximation of mathematical knowledge at the prospect of Critical Education defended by researchers such as Ole Skovsmose and Paulo Freire. Using storytelling as a methodological resource is intended to develop an activity that allows students to think critically about real-life situations that have democratic questions as ground. The research is part of the branch of mathematics concerned with the education goals of teaching mathematics in basic education. We discuss the relevance of an educational process that enables the development of a democratic competence in the first years of primary education by showing students that their classroom can and should be seen as a community, where everyone has rights and duties. The interpretation and understanding of real situations can be something very complex and uninteresting for students of that age, looking for an attractive feature such as storytelling, which is based on the tendency of Reading and Writing in Mathematics, proposed by Nacarato and Lopes; Cardoso and Fonseca. Adopting a phenomenological attitude in the research seeks to understand if the storytelling can contribute to the formation of the critical student. Assuming this perspective has developed a didactic sequence from the story 'o que os olhos não vêem' from writer Ruth Rocha. The student's writing, favored by the proposed sequence, subsidizes the understanding of their thinking and acting on the democratic situations
