Desenvolupament d'una aplicació per al filtrat de pàgines web

Aquest treball presenta un servidor proxy fàcilment configurable per a filtrar de pàgines web el contingut de les quals es vol prohibir a un usuari. L'aplicació ha estat desenvolupada en Java mitjançant les classes Socket i ServerSocket. I incorpora la funcionalitat de confecció d'estadístiques del tràfic a través del proxy provinent de la internet i provinent del browser.

A CONTABILIDADE E O REAL VALOR DAS EMPRESAS: FOCO NO CAPITAL INTELECTUAL

Este trabalho mostra que a contabilidade pode não estar a evidenciar o real valor do património das empresas (um dos seus objectivos), constatamos nos últimos tempos, que os relatórios fornecidos pela contabilidade financeira não retratam certas realidades das empresas, visto que o valor contabilístico se distancia cada vez mais do valor de mercado, principalmente nas empresas de alta tecnologia e serviços, assim sendo as demonstrações financeiras podem estar experimentando uma perda de relevância para a tomada de decisões de investimentos, de crédito e de gestão. Dentro deste contexto, ressaltamos a necessidade de a contabilidade evidenciar naquelas demonstrações tais informações para que possa divulgar aos vários utentes da informação o real valor da empresa. Visto que o Capital Intelectual é importante para as empresas, torna-se necessário relatar não só informações financeiras como também não financeiras. Este trabalho apresenta um estudo descritivo/quantitativo da empresa CVTelecom, com o objectivo de avaliar o grau de divulgação do Capital Intelectual na empresa. A principal constatação foi o seguinte: uma participação activa da empresa em divulgar o Capital Intelectual, uma forma não normalizada através da divulgação voluntária do Capital Intelectual cujo veículo de divulgação, é o Relatório de Gestão e o Balanço Social. This work shows that the Accounting cannot be evidencing the Real value of the patrimony of the enterprises (one of their objectives), we verified in the last times, that the reports supplied by the Financial Accounting don't portray certain realities of the enterprises, because the value Accounting of the enterprises go away more and more of his market value, mainly in the companies of high technology and services, soon the financial demonstrations are trying a loss of relevance for socket of decisions of investments, of credit and of administration. Inside of this context, we emphasized the need of the Accounting to evidence in the demonstrations such financial information so that it can publish to the several users of the information the Real value of the company. Because the Intellectual Capital is important for the enterprises, it becomes necessary to tell not only financial information as well as any financial. This work presents a descriptive-quantitative study of the enterprise CVtelecom, with the objective of evaluating the degree of popularization of the Intellectual Capital in the enterprise and the impact in the performance of this enterprise. The main verification was the following: A participation active of the company in publishing the Intellectual Capital in spite of being in a way no normalized but a voluntary popularization of the Intellectual Capital, whose popularization vehicle is the Report of Administration and the Social Swinging.

Análise Económica e Financeira como Instrumento de Apoio ao Processo Decisório

O foco central deste relatório consiste em mostrar a total importância da Análise Económica e Financeira como instrumento de apoio ao processo decisório. No contexto actual onde a concorrência é cada vez mais forte e a busca pela competitividade é uma necessidade constante, as empresas necessitam de informações precisas e oportunas para apoiar o processo decisório. A escassez de recursos financeiros e o elevado custo, aliado com a falta de planeamento e controle, têm contribuído para que muitas empresas encerrem suas actividades. A tomada de boas decisões torna-se, então, um factor crucial para assegurar a sobrevivência, crescimento e permanência da empresa no mercado. Neste sentido, buscamos trazer para todos os interessados alguns conceitos e técnicas fundamentais de análise e medição da performance económica e financeira das empresas que será igualmente útil, quer a nível académica, como também a nível profissional. Procuramos evidenciar a importância de se conhecer os indicadores que podem ser vistos como alertas de possíveis falências de empresas e com base nisso, tomar decisões que determinam que estratégias utilizar para enfrentar a concorrência. A finalizar este relatório procedemos a uma pesquisa Estudo de Caso que engloba uma análise económica e financeira, baseada na análise das Demonstrações Financeiras e demais informações complementares da TRANSCOR-SV, S.A. Foram explorados alguns conceitos relacionados com o tema, mostrando de forma simples e objectiva a situação de como a empresa vem actuando no mercado. Constámos algumas deficiências, pois, foram verificados alguns pontos fracos. Diante dos problemas, sugerimos formas de mudanças e de viabilidade dos mesmos. Esperamos, então, que este relatório contribua para a empresa analisar melhor a forma de administrar a parte económica e financeira e demais sectores.The central focus of this report consists of showing to total importance of the Analysis Economic and Financial as support instrument to the ruling process. In the context actual where the competition is more and more strong and the search for the competitiveness is a constant need, the companies need necessary and opportune information to support the ruling process. The shortage of financial resources and the high cost, ally with the planning lack and control, they have been contributing so that a lot of companies contain their activities. The socket of good decisions becomes, then, a crucial factor to assure the survival, growth and permanence of the company in the market. In this sense, we looked for to bring for all the interested parties, some concepts and fundamental techniques of analysis and measurement of the performance economic and financial of the companies, which will be equally useful, he/she wants to academic level, as well as at professional level. We tried to evidence, the importance of knowing the indicators that you/they can be seen as alerts of possible bankruptcies of companies and with base in that, to make decisions that determine which strategies to use to face the competition. To conclude this report we proceeded to a research Study of Case that includes an analysis economic and financial, based on the analysis of the Financial Demonstrations and other complementary information of TRANSCOR-S.V., S.A. Some concepts related with the theme were explored, showing the situation of simple form and objective of as the company is acting in the market. It was verified some deficiencies, because, some weak points were verified. Before the problems, we suggested forms of changes and of viability of the same ones.We waited, then, which this report contributes to company to analyze the form better of administering the part economic and financial and other sectors.

O contributo da contabilidade numa gestão transparente das OSFL - Caso: ADECO

Na actualidade, tem-se cada vez mais a consciência da necessidade e da importância de ter uma informação financeira credível e em tempo oportuno. A informação financeira passou a ser a base para avaliação do desempenho dos gestores, assim como para análise da situação económico-financeira das Organizações. A informação só é útil para tomada de decisão se tiverem as seguintes características qualitativas: Compreensibilidade, Relevância, Fiabilidade e Comparabilidade. No ambiente concorrencial em que as Organizações estão inseridas, a Contabilidade tem um papel fulcral como instrumento de tomada de decisão. As Organizações que têm como objectivos acções sociais, actuam nas áreas como: culturais e recreativas, solidariedade social, promoção do desenvolvimento comunitário, educacionais, de protecção ao ambiente, Saúde e da promoção da higiene, entre outros. Como essas Organizações não têm com objectivo o lucro, é necessário ter uma boa gestão e para que isso seja possível, é preciso ter-se instrumentos capazes para que isso seja possível e é neste âmbito que a Contabilidade entra como um auxílio para a gestão, como ferramenta capaz de mensurar e controlar processos, resultados e impactos nos projectos executados, a fim de que seus objectivos sociais sejam alcançados de uma forma consistente com o planeado. A sustentabilidade, a necessidade de demonstração e de aplicação dos recursos obtidos é um forte desafio que as Organizações do terceiro sector têm de ultrapassar e, neste âmbito, a Contabilidade pode constituir um meio importante para atingir esses objectivos, através da demonstração dos resultados alcançados. Nesta base, o contributo da Contabilidade na gestão das OSFL tem-se acentuado cada vez mais, demonstrando transparência na apresentação das suas contas, facilitando na captação de recursos e na fidelização dos seus parceiros e financiadores. Nowadays it has become increasingly aware of the need and importance of having credible and timely financial information. The financial information started to be the base for evaluation of the managers acting, as well as for analysis of the economicfinancial situation of the company. The information is only useful for socket of decision if they have the following qualitative characteristics: Comprehensive, Relevance, Reliable and Comparability. In the atmosphere concurrencies in that the Organizations are inserted the accounting has a crucial paper as instrument of socket of decision in the Organizations. Sustainability, the demonstration of the achieved results and the application of resources collected are strong challenges that the Organizations of the third sector have to overcome. To that extent, Accounting can contribute as an important way to reach those objectives through the demonstration of resources collected. In this base, the contribution of the Accounting has been accentuating more and more in the administration of the nonprofit organizations, demonstrating transparency in the presentation of their finance statements, facilitating the fundraising of Organizations and loyal partners and funders.

Soft Photogrammetry for Highway Engineering, HR-387, 1998

The SoftPlotter, a soft photogrammetric software and Silicon Graphics workstation, was used to evaluate the accuracy of soft photogrammetry and identify applications of this technology to highway engineering. A comparative study showed that SoftPlotter compares well with other software such as Socket and Integraph. The PC software TNTMips is inexpensive but needs further development to be comparable to SoftPlotter. The Campus Project showed that soft photogrammetry is accurate for traditional photogrammetric applications. It is also accurate for producing orthophoto and base maps for Geographic Information Systems (GISs). The Highway Project showed that soft photogrammetry is accurate for highway engineering and that the technical staff at the Iowa Department of Transportation (IA DOT) can be easily trained in this new technology. The research demonstrated that soft photogrammetry can be used with low-flight helicopter photography for large-scale mapping in highway engineering. The researchers recommend that research be conducted to test the use of digital cameras instead of the traditional aerial cameras in helicopter photography. Research that examines the use of soft photogrammetry with video logging imagery for inventory and GIS studies in highway maintenance is also recommended. Research is also warranted into the integration of soft photogrammetry with virtual reality, which can be used in three-dimensional designing and visualization of highways and subdivisions in real time. The IA DOT owns one analytical plotter and two analogue plotters. The analytical plotter is used for aerial triangulation, and the analogue plotters are used for plotting. However, neither is capable of producing orthophotos. Therefore, the researchers recommend that the IA DOT purchase soft photogrammetric workstations for orthophoto production, and if and when required, use it for aerial triangulation and plotting. In the future, the analogue plotters may become obsolete. At that time, the researchers recommend that the analogue plotters be phased out and replaced by soft photogrammetric workstations.

Designing a modular, open and expandable Bluetooth-platform

Lähitulevaisuudessa langattomien järjestelmien kaupalliset mahdollisuudet tulevat olemaan valtavia. Tutkiaksemme tulevia tarpeita, tässä diplomityössä esitellään kuinka voidaan suunnitella ja toteuttaa avoin langaton asiakas-palvelin järjestelmä. Järjestelmänä päätettiin käyttää Bluetooth:ia. Tutkituista langattomista standardeista Bluetooth sopii parhaiten akkukäyttöiselle laitteelle, jonka tulee olla monipuolinen. Lisäksi Bluetooth:iin on liitetty suuria kaupallisia odotuksia ja yksi työn tavoitteista olikin tutkia, ovatko nämä odotukset realistisia. Bluetooth:iin havaittiin liittyvän paljon ylimainontaa ja, sen todettiin olevan monimutkainen. Sillä on kuitenkin paljon ominaisuuksia ja erilaisten käyttöprofiilien avulla sitä voidaan käyttää monenlaisiin tehtäviin. Suunniteltu järjestelmä ajaa socket-palvelinta Bluetooth-yhteyden päällä. Tietyntyyppiseen liikenteeseen erikoistuneet socket:t tarjoavat vaaditun laajennattavuuden. Palvelin toteutetiin Linux-säikeenä ja se hallitsee Bluetooth protokollapinoa sekä sovelluksia, joita suoritetaan palvelimella. Näiden sovelluksien palvelut ovat muiden käytössä Bluetooth:n kautta.

Opetuskäyttöön suunnatun videoneuvottelteluportaalin prototyypin suunnittelu ja toteuttaminen avoimilla tekniikoilla

Työ tutkii, miten yksinkertaisen opetuskäyttöön suunnatun videoneuvotteluportaalin prototyypin rakentaminen onnistuu avoimilla tekniikoilla. WebRTC mahdollistaa selaimen päällä toimivan videoneuvottelusovelluksen rakentamisen avoimia ohjelmistorajapintoja käyttäen. Prototyypin toteuttamiseen käytetään WebRTC:n lisäksi WebSocket-standardia keskustelun tahojen yhdistämiseen. WebSocket toteutetaan Node.js:ää käyttävällä socket.io-kirjastolla. Sovelluksen avulla on tarkoitus pystyä muodostamaan ääni- ja videoyhteys kahden asiakasohjelman välille. Opetuskäyttöä tukevina ominaisuuksina mukana on myös tekstipohjainen keskustelu ja mahdollisuus opetuskalvojen selaamiseen. Lopputuloksena on laajennettavissa oleva avoin videoneuvottelusovelluksen prototyyppi.

Keräilykorttipelin toteutus HTML5- ja Javascript-tekniikoilla

HTML5-tekniikka sekä Javascript tuen laajuus selaimissa vaihtelee. Tässä työssä kyseisiä tekniikoita tutkitaan ja selvitetään niiden toimivuus keräilykorttipelin tarvittavien ominaisuuksien osalta. Tuet kartoitetaan viiden yleisimmän selaimen osalta. HTML5 tukee WebSocket-ominaisuutta, mutta kaikki selaimet eivät tue ominaisuutta tai se on poistettu käytöstä. Työssä etsitään tiedonsiirtotekniikan korvaaja, jota testataan ja verrattaan yleisesti käytettäviin tekniikoihin. Socket.io oli nopea tekniikka ja viisi yleisintä selainta tuki kyseistä tekniikkaa. Tämän vuoksi Socket.io-tekniikka soveltuu keräilykorttipeliin hyvin. Työssä tutkitaan keräilykorttipeliin liittyviä ongelmia sekä ratkaistaan ilmenneet ongelmat. Keräilykorttipelissä kyseisiä ongelmia ilmeni hyvin vähän. HTML5 animaatio tutkitaan että se on optimoitu hyvin, jotta käyttäjälle tulee miellyttävä peli kokemus. Keräilykorttipeliin lisäksi tehdään käytännön toteutuksena pakkaeditorin prototyyppi, jossa käytetään drag&drop-tekniikkaa. Tämän vuoksi myös drag&drop-tekniikan tuki on selainten osalta kartoitettu myös työssä, sekä testattu käytännön toteutuksena prototyypissä. Prototyypin tarkoitus on kartoittaa mahdolliset tulevat ongelmat sekä auttaa varsinaisen pakkaeditorin tuotantoversiossa.

Use of Novel Algorithms MAJE4 and MACJER-320 for Achieving Confidentiality and Message Authentication in SSL & TLS

Extensive use of the Internet coupled with the marvelous growth in e-commerce and m-commerce has created a huge demand for information security. The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol is the most widely used security protocol in the Internet which meets this demand. It provides protection against eaves droppings, tampering and forgery. The cryptographic algorithms RC4 and HMAC have been in use for achieving security services like confidentiality and authentication in the SSL. But recent attacks against RC4 and HMAC have raised questions in the confidence on these algorithms. Hence two novel cryptographic algorithms MAJE4 and MACJER-320 have been proposed as substitutes for them. The focus of this work is to demonstrate the performance of these new algorithms and suggest them as dependable alternatives to satisfy the need of security services in SSL. The performance evaluation has been done by using practical implementation method.

Studies,Design and Development of Network Security Enhancement Services Using Novel Cryptographic Algorithms

Internet today has become a vital part of day to day life, owing to the revolutionary changes it has brought about in various fields. Dependence on the Internet as an information highway and knowledge bank is exponentially increasing so that a going back is beyond imagination. Transfer of critical information is also being carried out through the Internet. This widespread use of the Internet coupled with the tremendous growth in e-commerce and m-commerce has created a vital need for infonnation security.Internet has also become an active field of crackers and intruders. The whole development in this area can become null and void if fool-proof security of the data is not ensured without a chance of being adulterated. It is, hence a challenge before the professional community to develop systems to ensure security of the data sent through the Internet.Stream ciphers, hash functions and message authentication codes play vital roles in providing security services like confidentiality, integrity and authentication of the data sent through the Internet. There are several ·such popular and dependable techniques, which have been in use widely, for quite a long time. This long term exposure makes them vulnerable to successful or near successful attempts for attacks. Hence it is the need of the hour to develop new algorithms with better security.Hence studies were conducted on various types of algorithms being used in this area. Focus was given to identify the properties imparting security at this stage. By making use of a perception derived from these studies, new algorithms were designed. Performances of these algorithms were then studied followed by necessary modifications to yield an improved system consisting of a new stream cipher algorithm MAJE4, a new hash code JERIM- 320 and a new message authentication code MACJER-320. Detailed analysis and comparison with the existing popular schemes were also carried out to establish the security levels.The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) I Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is one of the most widely used security protocols in Internet. Resistencia bacteriana en infección urinaria adquirida en comunidad en niños, según urocultivos, 2013

Método: En el Complejo Calle 100 en Bogotá, en el periodo de Julio a Diciembre de 2013 se revisaron los Urocultivos positivos, de pacientes menores de 16 años con diagnóstico clínico de IVU, procedentes de la comunidad. Consultamos las historias clínicas para documentar antibiótico empírico dado y episodios previos de infección. Se describieron los gérmenes aislados y las resistencias antibióticas. Discusión: Las cefalosporinas de primera generación tienen tasas de resistencias superiores al 37%, similar a lo reportado en la literatura, y son usadas como primera línea; ésta conducta debe ser reevaluada. Los aminoglucósidos, la nitrofurantoína y la cefuroxima son alternativas terapéuticas recomendables. La prevalencia de E coli BLEE de origen comunitario genera preocupación, debe incitar a realizar manejo antibiótico dirigido y concienzudo.

Desarrollo de una plataforma telemática como soporte a la docencia de materias troncales de Ciencias Experimentales.

Se ha creado un grupo interdisciplinar de profesores de la Universidad de Valladolid de los Departamentos de Física de la Materia Condensada, Didáctica de las Ciencias Experimentales, Ingeniería Energética e Informática con el fin de desarrollar una plataforma telemática como soporte a la docencia universitaria para las materias troncales que imparten sus respectivos departamentos. El objetivo de este proyecto ha sido la optimización y ampliación de dos proyectos anteriores elaborados por los Departamentos de Física de la Materia Condensada e Informática bajo Internet, para ello, se ha necesitado rediseñar la base de datos existente, con este fin se ha trabajado en el gestor de la base de datos y del servidor web para acceder a la información contenida en la base de datos. Se ha creado una unidad didáctica sobre energía solar para ser introducida en el servidor desarrollado. Con estos objetivos se ha diseñado un nuevo servidor cuya dirección es: http://cervantes.eis.uva.es. Una de las principales mejoras conseguidas ha sido el desarrollo de un nuevo gestor de la base de datos, esto se ha debido a la necesidad de poder manejar e introducir datos desde cualquier ordenador conectado a Internet, sin necesidad de tener que hacerlo desde el servidor del departamento como sucedía hasta el momento. Esa conexión al gestor de la base de datos se realiza de una manera segura mediante SSL (Security Socket Layer). También se ha introducido un tablón de anuncios en el que tanto los profesores como los alumnos puedan introducir sus propios mensajes y ser respondidos por cualquier persona que acceda al sistema de consultas de la base de datos a través de Internet. Además se ha ampliado y mejorado la gestión y la estructura de los exámenes que los alumnos pueden realizar a través de Internet, así como las posibilidades para su utilización como instrumento de autorregulación del aprendizaje por parte de los alumnos. Otra mejora importante ha sido la construcción de un Conversor de Unidades cuya gestión va incorporada en la base de datos. Las necesidades de instalación son: sistema operativo Windows 2000 server, Internet Information server 5.0 y SQL Server 7. El material dsarrollado se encuentra en la web.

'Roman' or 'native' bodies in Britain: the evidence of late Roman nail-cleaner strap-ends

This paper reviews late Roman `nail-cleaner strap-ends', a group of objects first discussed by Hawkes and Dunning (1961). The precise function of these objects is unclear as their shape suggests use as toilet instruments but the split socket suggests that they were part of belt-fittings. We suggest a detailed typology and discuss the dating evidence and the spatial distribution of the type. Regardless of their precise function, it is argued in this paper that nail-cleaner strap-ends of this type are unique to late Roman Britain and thus represent a distinct regional type. The use of nail-cleaner strap-ends can be viewed in the context of gender associations, military status and religious beliefs.

Hard tissue formation adjacent to implants of various size and configuration immediately placed into extraction sockets: an experimental study in dogs

Objectives To evaluate the influence of implant size and configuration on osseointegration in implants immediately placed into extraction sockets. Material and methods Implants were installed immediately into extraction sockets in the mandibles of six Labrador dogs. In the control sites, cylindrical transmucosal implants (3.3 mm diameter) were installed, while in the test sites, larger and conical (root formed, 5 mm diameter) implants were installed. After 4 months of healing, the resorptive patterns of the alveolar crest were evaluated histomorphometrically. Results With one exception, all implants were integrated in mineralized bone, mainly composed of mature lamellar bone. The alveolar crest underwent resorption at the control as well as at the test implants. This resorption was more pronounced at the buccal aspects and significantly greater at the test (2.7 +/- 0.4 mm) than at the control implants (1.5 +/- 0.6 mm). However, the control implants were associated with residual defects that were deeper at the lingual than at the buccal aspects, while these defects were virtually absent at test implants. Conclusions The installment of root formed wide implants immediately into extraction sockets will not prevent the resorption of the alveolar crest. In contrast, this resorption is more marked both at the buccal and lingual aspects of root formed wide than at standard cylindrical implants.
