Nanoparticles of BaLiF3:Er3+ were prepared from the quaternary microemulsions of Cetyltrim-Enthyl Ammonium Bromide (CTAB), n-butanol, n-octane, and water, using the hydrothermal-microemulsion technique. The complex fluorides were characterized by means of X-ray power diffraction, Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy (ESEM), and fluorescence spectra.

Luminescent Ln (Eu3+, Tb3+) doped hydroxyapatite (Eu:HAp, Tb:HAp) phosphors were successfully fabricated via the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB)/n-octane/n-butanol/water microemulsion-mediated solvothermal process. The structure, morphology, and optical properties were systematically characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and photoluminescence (PL) spectra as well as the kinetic decays, respectively.

Erbium-doped BaF2 nanoparticles were prepared from the microemulsion of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), n-butanol, n-octane and water. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns were indexed to a pure BaF2 cubic phase. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed that BaF2 products were monodispersed with 15-20 nm in size at the dopant concentration of 0.06 mol%. At higher dopant concentration, there was no significant increase in particle size, but more polydispersed. Photoluminescence (PL) properties of the final products were examined. We can observe fluorescence of Er3+ around 1540 nm and with the increase of dopant concentration, the fluorescent intensity increases.

BaF2 nanocubes were prepared from quaternary reverse micelles of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), n-butanol, n-octane, and water. Interestingly, there are arching sheet-like dendrites growing between two neighbouring sides of these cubes. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that the products were BaF2 single phase. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) or transition electron microscopy (TEM) was used to estimate the size of the final products. The results showed that the shape and size of particles were strongly dependent on the reaction conditions, such as the temperature and reaction time. When the reaction temperature was 25 degreesC, we obtained cuboid-like particles with 'clean' surfaces (no dendrites growing on them), and when the temperature was 35 degreesC, we obtained nanocubes with dendrites growing from them between the neighbouring sides. The influence of reaction time at a temperature of 35 degreesC is also discussed.

Europium-doped barium fluoride cubic nanocolumns were synthesized from the quaternary water in oil reverse microemulsions In this process, the aqueous cores of water/cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB)/n-butanol/n-octane reverse microemulsions were used as microreactors for the precipitation of europium doped barium fluoride. XRD analysis shows that under the dopant concentration of 0.06% (molar fraction), the products are single phase. The result products are cubic column-like with about 30 similar to 50 nm edge length of cross section, and about 200 nm of length obtained from the transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Under the 0.06 % (molar fraction) of dopant concentration I the fluorescence of Eu2+ and Eu3+ under the 589 of excitation wavelength is observed.

The phase diagram of a cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide( CTAB)/n-butanol/n-octane/KNO3-Mg( NO3)(2) system was drawn. Nanoparticles of Eu2+-doped KMgF3 were prepared from the quaternary microemulsions of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB), n-butanol, n-octane and water. The X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns were indexed to a pure KMgF3 cubic phase. The environmental scanning electron microscopic (ESEM) images show the presence of spherical Eu2+-doped KMgF3 nanoparticles with a diameter of ca. 20 nm. The emission of KMgF3: Eu2+ nanoparticles peaks at 360 mn. The excitation band was observed at 250 nm with a blue shift of ca. 70 nm compared with that of KMgF3: Eu2+ single crystal. The preparation method of nano-KMgF3: Eu2+/PMMA composite films was inquired into.

Gold nanoparticles with size 3-10 nm (diameter) were prepared by the reduction of HAuCl4 in a CTAB/octane + 1-butanol/H2O reverse micelle system using NaBH4 as the reducing agent. The as-formed gold nanoparticle colloid was characterized by UV/vis absorption spectrum and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Various capping ligands, such as alkylthiols with different chain length and shape, trioctylphosphine (TOP), and pyridine are used to passivate the gold nanoparticles for the purpose of self-organization into superstructures. It is shown that the ligands have a great influence on the self-organization of gold nanoparticles into superlattices, and dodecanethiol C12H25SH is confirmed to be the best ligand for the self-organization. Self-organization of C12H25SH-capped gold nanoparticles into 1D, 2D and 3D superlattices has been observed on the carbon-coated copper grid by TEM without using any selective precipitation process.

In this presentation, a reverse micelle technique was described to create colloid gold nanoparticles and their self-organization into superlattices. Gold nanoparticles were prepared by the reduction of HAuCL4 in CTAB/octane + 1-butanol/H2O reverse micelle system using NaBH4 as reducing agent. Dodecanethiol (C12H25SH) was used to passivate the gold nanoparticles immediately after formation of the gold colloid. After re-dispersing in toluene under ultrasonication, a supernatant containing nearly monodispersed dodecanethiol-capped gold nanoparticles was obtained. Self-organization of the gold nanoparticles into 1D, 2D and 3D superlattices was observed on the carbon-coated copper grid by TEM. A novel polymeric Pr(III) complex with a new double betaine, namely [{Pr(L-1)(1.5)(H2O)(2)}(n)] [ClOli4]3(n). nH(2)O (1) (L-1= 1,4-diazoniobicyclo[2,2,2]octane- 1,4-dipropionate), has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray analysis. In the title complex, the Pr(III) atom is nine-coordinated by seven oxygen atoms from five L-1 ligands and two aqua ligands. Each pair of adjacent praseodymium(III) atoms is linked by a pair of mu(3) chelating and bridging carboxylate groups, thus forming an infinite metal metal chain running parallel to the a direction, and such chains are cross-linked by flexible backbones of L-1 ligands into a three-dimensional network with the perchlorate anions and lattice water molecules accommodated in the interstitial space. The title complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.085(2), b = 14.316(3), c = 29.775(6) Angstrom, beta = 103.04(3)degrees and Z = 4.

The viscosities of polystyrene-b-poly (ethylene/propylene) diblock copolymer in mixed solvent of n-octane and benzene were measured. The influences of the constitution of the mixed solvent, temperature and concentration were on the viscosity investigated. During the micellization the solution viscosity increases rapidly. The results are consistent with the study on the micellization by light scattering. The average mass of micelleswas measured and the hydrodynamic radius of gyrations were calculated.

The general a(N) index (GAI) was used to characterize the cis, trans isomers of hydrocarbons. The best one-variable equations were obtained with GAI for several physicochemical properties of seven pairs of olefin cis, trans isomers. The linear correlation coefficients are in the range of 0.975 to 0.997. GAI was also compared with the other five topological indices, Randic connectivity index chi, Wiener number W, Hosoya index Z, the average distance sum connectivity J proposed by Balaban and a(N) index introduced by Yang, in correlating with the octane number (MON) of heptanes and octanes.

The thermodynamics of micellization for polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene/propylene) two-Mock copolymer(SEP) in the mixtures of n-octane and benzene with different proportions have been studied in this paper, The critical micelle concentrations(GMC) of micelle solutions at various temperatures were measured by lost angle laser light scattering photometer(LALLS), The results shove that the micellization process of nonpolar copolymer SEP in hydrocarbon solvents ire exothermal, and the entropy change is negative, In contrast, far ordinary surfactants in water, it is the enthalpy contribution to the energy change which is responsible for micellization.

本课题组自1999年以来,将培养条件优化、生物活性跟踪及化学跟踪技术应用到胶州湾海洋放线菌的次级代谢产物研究中,发现了一批具有生物活性的化合物,包括新型骨架等新颖结构的化合物。 本研究从海州湾分离出海洋放线菌172株,对其中70株菌的次级代谢产物进行了生物活性筛选和化学筛选,获得了它们对八种病原微生物的抑制活性数据。发现海州湾海洋放线菌对至少一种受试微生物具有拮抗能力的比例约为30%。从海洲湾分离到的海洋放线菌中筛选得到三株L083、L078和L158用于次级代谢产物的研究,同时本人又从合作实验室获得另一株海洋放线菌B7651,从这四株海洋细菌的发酵粗提物中共分离纯化得到26 个化合物, 其中10 个为新颖结构化合物。具体是,3-Hydroxy-6-[(Z)-3´-hydroxy-2´,4´-dimethyl-hept-4´-enoylamino]-2,4-dimethyl-5-oxo-hexanoic acid (4),2-[5-(2-oxopropyl)tetrahydrofuran-2-yl]propanoic acid (5),2-oxatricyclo-octane (10),Huaiomycin (15), 5-(6-hydroxy-6-methylheptyl)dihydrofuran-2(3H)-one (17), 6-Hydroxy-6-hydroxymethyl-6H-pyran-3-one (18), 1,6-dihydroxy-hex-3-ene-2,5—dione (19) (1’R, 2R, 4R)-2-(1-hydroxy-8-methylnonyl)-4-hydroxymethyl-butanolide (20) , Bremeromycin A (22) ,Bremeromycin B (26)。生物活性实验结果表明Bremeromycin A (22)具有选择性的抗枯草杆菌(Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6051)活性和抗微藻Chlorella vulgaris活性。

The heat capacities (C-p) of five types of gasohol (50 wt % ethanol and 50 wt % unleaded gasoline 93(#) (E50), 60 wt % ethanol and 40 wt % unleaded gasoline 93(#) (E60), 70 wt % ethanol and 30 wt % unleaded gasoline 93(#) (E70), 80 wt % ethanol and 20 wt % unleaded gasoline 93(#) (E80), and 90 wt % ethanol and 10 wt % unleaded gasoline 93(#) (E90), where the "93" denotes the octane number) were measured by adiabatic calorimetry in the temperature range of 78-320 K. A glass transition was observed at 95.61, 96.14, 96.56, 96.84, and 97.08 K for samples from the E50, E60, E70, E80, and E90 systems, respectively. A liquid-solid phase transition and a solid-liquid phase transition were observed in the respective temperature ranges of 118-153 and 155-163 K for E50, 117-150 and 151-164 K for E60, 115-154 and 154-166 K for E70, 113-152 and 152-167 K for E80, and 112-151 and 1581-167 K for E90. The polynomial equations of Cp and the excess heat capacities (C-p(E)), with respect to the thermodynamic temperature, were established through least-squares fitting. Based on the thermodynamic relationship and the equations obtained, the thermodynamic functions and the excess thermodynamic functions of the five gasohol samples were derived.
