A demarcação platônica de novas fronteiras epistêmicas para o discurso filosófico: um estudo sobre o sofista

No Sofista, mediante os circuitos do procedimento ontológico-binário das divisões dialéticas, Platão busca não somente chegar à verdade das coisas em si, mas, também, a sua correta expressão. A superação das aporias relativas à natureza da linguagem por um tratamento metódico rigoroso, que minimiza suas limitações e inadvertências e a instala numa dimensão transcendente, entre os gêneros do Ser, assegura-lhe o estatuto de discurso filosófico, capaz de dizer aquilo que é como ele é.

A PONTUAÇÃO E A DEMARCAÇÃO DE ASPECTOS RÍTMICOS da LINGUAGEM

Neste artigo, discute-se a percepção de alguns estudiosos de que a pontuação demarca aspectos rítmicos da linguagem. Num primeiro momento, destaca-se a intuição dos estudiosos: (a) sobre aspectos métricos do ritmo (como simetria rítmica) e (b) tentativas de reprodução da linguagem (como os movimentos respiratórios, a alternância de características prosódicas da fala, a sensação de satisfação de expectativas e a de quebra de expectativas). Num segundo momento, destaca-se a intuição sobre aspectos do ritmo mais ligados a características da organização da linguagem em sua expressão escrita (como paralelismos rítmicos e unidades de idéias mais extensas)

Nova proposta de critério de retenção para dimensionamento de filtros têxteis

The designs of filters made by granular material or textile are mainly based on empirical or semi empirical retention criteria according to Terzaghi proposal, which compares particle diameter of the soil base with the filter porous spaces. Silveira in 1965, proposed one rational design retention criteria based on the probability of a particle from the soil base, carried by one dimensional flow, be restrained by the porous of the filter while trying to pass through its thickness. This new innovating theory, besides of being very simple, it is not frequently used for granular filters since the necessary parameters for the design has to be determine for each natural material. However, for textile this problem no longer exists because it has quality control during manufacturing and the necessary characteristics properties of the product are specify in the product catalog. This work presents one adaptation of the Silveira theory for textile filters and the step-by-step procedure for the determination of the characteristics properties of the textile products necessary for the design. This new procedure permits the determination of the confiability level of retention that one specific particle diameter form the soil base has for one specified textile. One complete example is presented to demonstrate the simplicity of the method proposed and how the textile characteristics are obtained.

Síntese de sistemas estritamente reais positivos através do critério de routh-hurwitz

Given a linear time-invariant plant Gol(s) with one input and q outputs, where q > 1, a method based on the Routh-Hurwitz Stability Criterion is proposed to obtain a constant tandem matrix F ∈ ℝq, such that FGOl(s) is a minimumphase system. From this solution, the system FGol(s) is represented in state space by {A, B, FC} and a constant output feedback matrix K0 ∈ ℝ is obtained such that the feedback system {A - BK0C, B, FC} is Strictly Positive Real (SPR). The proposed procedure offers necessary and sufficient conditions for both problems. Initially, the general case, with a generic q, is analyzed. Following, the particular cases q = 2 and q = 3 are studied.

Parâmetros genéticos entre caracteres quantitativos no girassol como critério de seleção para produtividade de aquênios

Two experiments were conducted in southern Brazil in no-tillage system, in order to estimate genetic parameters and the direct and indirect effects of components for achene yield as a selection criterion in sunflower. We analyzed eight sunflower hybrids at two locations, in a randomized complete block design with four replicates, determined through quantitative descriptors: insertion height of the head, and head stem diameter, weight of 1000 achenes, number of achenes per head, mass by achene head and yield achene. Estimates of genetic parameters were based on combined analysis, decomposing interactions in genetic and environmental components. Considering the coefficient of genetic variation, indirect effects of components and heritability, there are higher possibilities for responses to selection in sunflower achenes by descriptors mass and mass of achenes per head, with its indirect association interrelated pathways for the increase in the achenes of yield.

The flight quality describes the skills of the pilot realize a given task and its difficulty to perform it. Flight quality criteria provide a valuable reference for the designers during the requirements definitions phase and to develop them during the phase of flight testing. These criteria were taken important for the development of a fly-by-wire system. There are several flight quality criteria and this work analyzes the bandwidth criteria, this is evaluated according to a model an aircraft using the SIMULINK/MATLAB. In addition, the paper also describes in detail what is a flight quality criteria and shows an overview of the bandwidth criteria

Uma proposta de demarcação da análise descritiva do comportamento ordinal no contexto da literatura operante

A portion of operant literature supports significant production of knowledge about problem solving, observation response and contingency relations between responses with different probabilities of occurrence (Premack Principle). This study investigated possible convergences between a descriptive analysis of ordinal behavior and such portion of the operant literature. Conceptual and methodological analysis of publications have highlighted the relevance of the sequence of events functionally related to the characterization of the production of knowledge about problem solving, observation response and the Premack Principle enabling approaches between programs of research on complex behavioral repertoires as well as expansions in research strategies concerning ordinal responding.

Demarcação da madeira juvenil e adulta de Corymbia citriodora

This paper had the objective of determining the transition regions between the juvenile and mature wood of Corymbia citriodora (Eucalyptus citriodora) of 29 years of age from the Experimental Station of Forest Science (EECFA-LCF/ESALQ-USP), located in Anhembi, in the State of São Paulo. The regions of juvenile and mature wood were characterized through anatomical studies - axial fiber length - following the recommendations of the International Association of Wood Anatomists (1989) using disks at the DBH of the trees. The measurements of fiber length were made in equipment for acquisition, diagnosis and image analysis. Five slices were made for every centimeter, in the radial direction and six fiber lengths per slice were measured, producing 30 measurements per sample region. In the total, 1740 lengths of fiber were measured in three disks that were studied. Results indicate a trend of accentuated and linear increase for the length of fibers, from the pith to 11 cm of radial of about 79%. Between 12 cm and 19 cm of the radius, fibers length remained almost constant, and from that point on, the fiber length tended to slightly increase to the bark. It can be concluded that for these trees, at this height of sampling, when the tree has 29 years of age, the extension of the juvenile wood goes up to 52% of its radius.

Carga de trabalho de enfermagem em unidade de terapia intensiva pediátrica especializada como critério para dimensionamento de pessoal

Objetivo: avaliar a carga de trabalho de enfermagem (CTE) em unidade de terapia intensiva pediátrica, especializada no atendimento de crianças com anomalias craniofaciais e síndromes associadas, como critério para dimensionamento de pessoal. Método: Estudo prospectivo, realizado na unidade de terapia intensiva pediátrica do Hospital de Reabilitação de Anomalias Craniofaciais da Universidade de São Paulo, nos meses de maio e junho de 2013. A amostra constou de 29 pacientes. O critério de inclusão foi à permanência maior que 24 horas na unidade. Inicialmente a carga de trabalho de enfermagem foi mensurada por meio do Nursing Activies Score (NAS) e posteriormente comparada ao dimensionamento de pessoal segundo a Resolução do Conselho Federal de Enfermagem - COFEN - 293/04, e aos fatores sócio-demográficos da amostra (idade, sexo, diagnóstico médico, procedência e média de permanência). Para a análise estatística, utilizouse o Teste – t de Student, a Análise de Variância e a Correlação de Pearson, observando-se como nível de significância 5% (p ≤ 0,05). Resultados: A média NAS foi de 90,86%. A taxa de ocupação foi de 60%. Ao se relacionar a CTE segundo o NAS as variáveis sócio demográficas, não se observaram diferenças significantes. O dimensionamento de pessoal segundo o NAS e segundo a Resolução COFEN - 293/04 foram similares (5 funcionários por turno de trabalho). Conclusão: O dimensionamento de pessoal segundo a carga de trabalho por meio do instrumento NAS foi similar ao preconizado pelo COFEN. Evidencia-se a relação entre a carga de trabalho e o dimensionamento de pessoal.
