In the mixed-metal complex catena-poly[bis[diaquasilver(I)] [bis[aquacopper(II)]-mu(3)-pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylato-2': 1: 1'kappa N-5,O-2: O-5: O-5, O-5'-mu-pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylato-2: 1 kappa(4) N, O-2: O-5, O-5'-disilver(I)-mu(3)-pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylato-1: 1': 2 '' kappa(5) O-5, O-5': O-5: N, O-2-mu pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylato-1': 20 ''kappa(4) O-5, O-5': N, O-2] hexahydrate], {[Ag(H2O)(2)][AgCu(C7H3NO4)(2)(H2O)] center dot 3H(2)O}(n), a square-pyramidal Cu-II center is coordinated by two N atoms and two O atoms from two pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylate (2,5-pydc) ligands and a water molecule, forming a [Cu(2,5-pydc)(2)-( H2O)](2-) metalloligand. One Ag I center is coordinated by five O atoms from three 2,5-pydc ligands and, as a result, the [Cu(2,5-pydc)(2)(H2O)](2-) metalloligands act as linkers in a unique mu(3)-mode connecting Ag-I centers into a one-dimensional anionic double chain along the [101] direction.

In the title compound, catena-poly[dipotassium [[(oxalato-O,O')dioxomolybdate]-mu-oxo]monohydrate], oxalate acts as a bidentate ligand coordinating to each Mo atom through the two deprotonated carboxylate groups. The coordination polyhedron of molybdenum is distorted octahedral and there are infinite chains in the structure. Principal dimensions are: Mo-O(terminal) 1.560 (3) and 1.739 (3) Angstrom, Mo-O(bridging) 2.046 (4) and 2.410 (4) Angstrom, and Mo-O(carboxylate) 1.949 (3) and 2.113 (3) Angstrom.

There are no discrete molecules of the title compound, catena-poly[{triaquaterbium-tris-beta-(p-nitro-benzoato)-O,O':O;O:O,O';O:O'-aqua(p-nitroben-zoato-O,O')terbium}-bis-mu-(p-nitrobenzoato-O:O') hydrate], [Tb2(C7H4NO4)6(H2O)5], in the crystal structure.

In the structure of catena-poly[{triaqua(L-pro-line-O)erbium(III)}-bis-mu-(L-proline-O:O')-{triaqua-(L-proline-O)erbium(III)}-bis-mu-(L-proline-O:O') hexaperchlorate], each Er3+ ion is coordinated by five carboxyl O atoms from the L-proline molecules and three water molecules. Four of the SiX L-proline molecules act as bidentate bridging ligands to link the Er3+ ions through the carboxyl groups, thus producing a one-dimensional chain structure. The other two ligands coordinate unidentately to the rare-earth ions. Hydrogen bonds formed between the coordinated water molecules and between the water and unidentate proline ligand stabilize the polymeric chain.
