Work organized in shifts, either for technological, social or economic imposition, allows the best use of means of production, increasing the overall productivity of the enterprises. At the same time, this type of work harms the individual productive capacity of workers, particularly those involved in the night shift. The objective of this work was to assess the behaviour of production in a continuous line and subjected to work organized in shifts. Through the statistical method of analysis of variance, Spearman's test and Tukey's method, was analysed the distribution of the productivity index measured in three fixed shifts of work in a glass company. The productivity index, provided by the integrated management system of the company, refers to the ratio of actual productivity to total productivity. The statistical analysis shows that factors of production, such as allocation of workers, do not interfere with productivity, showing an unexpected pattern, where the average productivity for the three shifts are close and the correlation between the number of workers on the line and productivity is low. The conditions of production had an adverse work environment with exposure to noise, heat, vaporized mist of lubricating oil and risk of accidents. The findings show that the calculation of productivity in use is limited and its use in company’s production control may produce distortions. It is proposed to examine alternative calculations methods that consider the overall productivity

Este trabalho teve como objetivo principal aprofundar a análise sobre o processo avaliativo presente em uma escola organizada em ciclos, debruçando-se na reflexão da prática avaliativa e na concepção dos alunos e dos professores acerca dessa temática, sendo estes, entre outros, agentes intimamente ligados à avaliação na escola. Para a realização deste estudo, a metodologia empregada contou com a observação sistemática de uma turma de alunos do ciclo final do ensino fundamental (9º ano), bem como entrevistas com professores e alunos. Desta forma, pretendeu-se entender e refletir sobre o papel da avaliação na organização do trabalho pedagógico – os ciclos – e como essa nove organização requer que a avaliação seja diferenciada também, e assim contribuir para a construção de práticas pedagógicas e avaliativas transformadoras

In 2002, the Ministry of Education (MEC) published the Curriculum Guidelines for Engineering courses in the country. The Guidelines contain subjects like the profile of graduates, the course structure, curriculum, internships and skills and abilities, all geared to guide the training of engineers in Brazil. The objective of this study is to evaluate together with teachers of the Production Department of this University and students of the fifth year of Production Engineering is how student learning of Production Engineering for the development and importance of skills within the course and skills for engineers who are present in the Curriculum Guidelines for engineering courses developed by MEC

The objective the work at hand has is to discuss the dropouts of students from the major Physics in the campus of Guaratinguetá – UNESP. A survey has been made about the number of graduated and evaded students of each class since 1989, year that this course was created, until the year 2011. For this purpose, lists were collected from the section of graduation of the university, in which you will find names, year of entry, way of entry and situation of each students already enrolled in the course. Data about the dropouts of other courses of Physics at UNESP were also collected, in order to compare with the results from the unity of Guaratinguetá. Besides that, the results from researches about the lack of physics professors in the country were also taken into consideration. Some of this research sought to identify the main reasons of dropouts from the students of Physics. The data collected indicates that the dropout of this course in the campus of Guaratinguetá is higher when compared to the dropouts of others in this institution. It’s also true that the dropout rates haven’t changed significantly over the years, the average being 66.2% in the period between 1989 and 2007. However, the reason for the dropouts has changed of the years, dropouts to change for other majors increased, especially after 2005, being responsible for almost half of the dropouts in the last three years. The survey with the enrolled students of 2012 showed that this is a group of young students that don’t work and many of them have enrolled with the intension to transfer to other courses. These data contradicts the results of some researches that point out difficulties for students to reconciling work with study as one of the main causes of the dropouts. O trabalho de parto prematuro (TPP) é uma intercorrência obstétrica com etiologia multifatorial, que tem como principal complicação a prematuridade. A infecção da cavidade amniótica (CA) é um fator associado ao TPP e, nos últimos anos, inúmeros trabalhos têm demonstrado a presença de diferentes espécies bacterianas no líquido amniótico (LA) de pacientes em TPP. Dentre essas, destacam-se duas espécies de micoplasmas genitais, Mycoplasma hominis e Ureaplasma urealyticum, que embora sejam freqüentemente detectadas no LA ainda são pouco estudadas quanto à sua relação com essa complicação obstétrica. Avaliar a infecção na cavidade amniótica por M. hominis e U. urealyticum bem como determinar os níveis de IL-6 e IL-10 no líquido amniótico de gestantes com trabalho de parto prematuro. Foi realizado estudo prospectivo com 20 gestantes em TPP, atendidas no Serviço de Obstetrícia do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu, UNESP. O grupo controle foi constituído de 20 gestantes com indicação para amniocentese transabdominal para avaliação da maturidade fetal. Foram obtidas amostras do líquido amniótico e das membranas corioamnióticas de todas as pacientes incluídas no estudo. A pesquisa de M.hominis e U.urealyticum no LA foi realizada empregando-se a técnica de reação em cadeia da polimerase (PCR) e os níveis de IL-6 e IL-10 quantificados por ensaio imunoenzimático (ELISA). Os dados obtidos referentes às características maternas, infecção da cavidade amniótica e concentração de citocinas no LA foram submetidos ao teste z de proporção e ao teste de Mann-Whitney e o nível de significância adotado foi de 5%. O trabalho de parto prematuro (TPP) é uma intercorrência obstétrica com etiologia multifatorial, que tem como principal complicação a prematuridade. A infecção da cavidade amniótica (CA) é um fator associado ao TPP e, nos últimos anos, trabalhos têm demonstrado a presença de diferentes espécies bacterianas no líquido amniótico (LA) de pacientes em TPP. O objetivo desse estudo foi identificar as espécies bacterianas presentes no líquido amniótico de gestantes em trabalho de parto prematuro. Foram incluídas, no grupo de estudo, 20 gestantes em TPP e como grupo controle, 20 gestantes, fora de trabalho de parto prematuro, com indicação para amniocentese transabdominal para avaliação da maturidade fetal. As pacientes foram atendidas no Serviço de Obstetrícia do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu, no período de junho de 2005 a outubro de 2007. Para avaliação da presença de infecção na CA, foi realizada a reação em cadeia da polimerase (PCR) em amostras de líquido amniótico para detecção de Mycoplasma hominis, de Ureaplasma urealyticum e da seqüência conservada inter-espécie do gene RNAr 16S. Os produtos da reação de PCR para o gene RNAr 16S foram clonados para realização do seqüenciamento com a finalidade de identificar as espécies bacterianas da CA das gestantes incluídas no estudo. A incidência de TPP no período do estudo foi de 5,8%. No grupo TPP, a pesquisa de invasão microbiana da CA foi positiva para M. hominis (35,0%), U. urealyticum (15,0%) e gene RNAr 16S (30,0%), sendo todas as frequências superiores às encontradas no grupo controle (p<0,05). This course conclusion paper has as its theme the critical analysis of the Educational Policy Continued Progression. At this juncture when much is produced on specific themes of interest in continued progression in the reflection on the consequences of implementing this policy in organizing the work of teachers an their autonomy, seeking to contribute to public policy debates.The problematization that will undertake this work wonders if the policy continued progression is, in fact, a government strategy to remove the teacher control over their work and contribute to the process of alienation and loss of autonomy of a schoolteacher. A necessidade de se ter profissionais capacitados para pensar a questão urbana e propor soluções inovadoras é o ponto de partida para a criação do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo na Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”. Quando da sua criação, toda a estruturação foi baseada na infraestrutura já existente no campus para que posteriormente novas instalações, adequadas às especificidades do curso, fossem pleiteadas. Com apenas oito anos de funcionamento, alunos e professores enfrentam dificuldades no desenvolvimento das atividades em função da falta de infraestrutura adequada. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho é dedicado ao desenvolvimento de um projeto que atenda de forma satisfatória as demandas existentes no curso. A partir da elaboração de estudos de projetos análogos e de analises das necessidades do campus e suas necessidades obtém‐se as diretrizes que encaminham para a escolha da uma área apropriada para implantação nesta unidade universitária e pautam o desenvolvimento do projeto, que busca inserir‐se de forma adequada ao contexto préexistente

With the increasing competitiveness of organizations in search of customers, it is essential that the pursuit of quality becomes a prerequisite for the survival of healthcare organization, is necessary to have working conditions that encourage both personal and professional satisfaction. This study aims to investigate the perception of nurses regarding their satisfaction in the context of work in a State Hospital and contribute to the reflection on the internal customer satisfaction as an important indicator of quality of health services that interfere with quality of care. We used the qualitative method, on phenomenology, with nurses from a state hospital that had at least one year of experience in the institution. Through interviews, it was revealed that satisfaction is related to the literature and is influenced by factors such as human resources, practice nurses, Teamwork, Perception of the patient, professional recognition, physical and material resources and rewarding work, and these themes unfold quality and satisfaction both personally and for organizations

This paper aims to discuss the system of inventory management in a public university. The present paper shows the definitions, classification of materials and the advantages and disadvantages of storage, besides exposing the public procurement bidding system since the acquisition until receipt of materials to be stored. This paper presents a survey of the items stored in the warehouse and use of control tools such as ABC curve to demand flow prized for verification of critical items and idle items. Displays also a calculation for the minimum value of stock and replacement of an item in inventory and an analysis of the conditions of the warehouse layout. As a result, knowledge is acquired and a revised system of inventory management of the institution was proposed

In the course of this research, we evaluate the issue, through a quantitative survey and qualitative survey of the entity as well as demographic information query the database of public agencies that, shielded by the literature of the subject of the work, explain some features of reality these young people, for example, the conditions they face in search of his achievement as a worker in the learning situation

This work has the propose to discuss the National Examination Performance of students for the course in Production Engineering , from 2005 up to 2011, subsidies are shown how this came about assessment and how the course has been evaluated in recent years . Compares higher education from public and private universities in Brazil and is also discussed how important a good performance in the exam. Qualitative and quantitative surveys were conducted at different times that the work that enables a critical analysis of the examination , the institution and also the students themselves , so the list is the main motivators for the exam and also what should be done to obtaining good results in academic performance. Motivators for the exam has highlighted its importance is paramount and the consent of all involved from the beginning of the course to ensure that the examination is compulsory for all graduates of undergraduate manufacturing engineering in Brazil

The Psychology of Morality is an area that has to be strengthened in the academic environment for social, political and scientific. The research of Jean Piaget (1932) on the development of moral judgments are the main sources for this area of knowledge, followed by studies of Lawrence Kohlberg (1981), Jose Maria Puig (1998) and others. This project intends to investigate and analyze the conception of the ethical training of graduate students of Pedagogy, Unesp, Campus Bauru, in order to see how these conceive their ethical, what importance they give to the subject and how to relate such training to the work that will develop with their students. Some research has shown a total lack of respect for the theories and concepts related to the issue by presenting a framework of moral indifference since graduation, space in which there is discussion about major educational theories. Through the proposed research is to analyze whether such a deficiency exists and educate future educators of the fundamental importance of its role in moral education and ethics of their students

This paper analyzes the transformations in Brazilian society, especially in relations between the fields of work, education and youth. The implementation of a new logic in the process of capital accumulation, changes meant to hit the job market, causing new social issues, especially for youth, which can be translated by rising unemployment and new job settings, thus, have sparked a broad debate around the requirements that the market imposes on that intend to engage in it, relations skills, knowledge and ability to enter the labor market of the population, reissuing the discussion on social inequalities that required the field of alternative public policies to address this situation of exclusion. Turning to the reflection on the process of qualification / training and placing young people in employment relationships, this study aims to address and reflect on educational policies aimed at the inclusion ofyouth in the labor market, as well as analyze the actions of generating jobs and skills for young people between 18 and 29 years to do so, we will examine the National Youth Inclusion Program- PROJOVEM - sponsored by the Federal Governrnent, which aims to expand the service to the youngsters excluded from school and vocational training, allowing young people to be reintegrated into the educational process, receiving social skills training
