Trata de la presencia de la cultura árabe en la España cristiana que dio como resultado la fusión de ambos mundos. Los musulmanes aportaron innovaciones artísticas y arquitectónicas que enriquecieron el románico español. Se hace un repaso al panorama arquitectónico del norte de España, las influencias mozárabes en lo asturiano que fusionaron las fórmulas modernas con las tradicionales.

Comentario de las actividades escolares desarrolladas para conmemorar el IV Centenario de El Quijote en el CP Miguel de Cervantes de Consuegra (Toledo). Se destaca la realización de una reescritura de esta obra en la que participan colaboradores, alumnos, profesores y padres. Se pretende fomentar la lectura como fuente de placer y diversión.

Efficacy of 1000 Hz tympanometry in infants birth to 4 months of age: A follow up study

Interpretation of 1000 Hz tympanometry is not standardized. Several compensated and uncompensated measures were analyzed and compared to otologic findings. Results of auditory brainstem testing and otoacoustic emissions were considered to better obtain middle ear status. Findings were inconclusive due to small sample size.

Argon predissociation spectroscopy of the OH-center dot H2O and Cl-center dot H2O complexes in the 1000-1900 cm(-1) region: Intramolecular bending transitions and the search for the shared-proton fundamental in the hydroxide monohydrate

We present argon predissociation vibrational spectra of the OH-.H2O and Cl-.H2O complexes in the 1000-1900 cm(-1) energy range, far below the OH stretching region reported in previous studies. This extension allows us to explore the fundamental transitions of the intramolecular bending vibrations associated with the water molecule, as well as that of the shared proton inferred from previous assignments of overtones in the higher energy region. Although the water bending fundamental in the Cl-.H2O spectrum is in very good agreement with expectations, the OH-.H2O spectrum is quite different than anticipated, being dominated by a strong feature at 1090 cm(-1). New full-diniensionality calculations of the OH-.H2O vibrational level structure using diffusion Monte Carlo and the VSCF/CI methods indicate this band arises from excitation of the shared proton.

Utvärdering av ICC-profiler och profil-inställningar för HP Indigo Press 1000

Det nystartade digitaltryckeriet Digaloo planerar att inom en snar framtid införa ICC-hantering i sittarbetsflöde. Med anledning av detta har en studie utförts där antalet erfordrade ICC-profiler undersöktssamt vilka akromatiska inställningar som bäst lämpar sig för tryckeriets HP Indigo Press 1000.Testtryckning utfördes på sex av Digaloos mest använda papperskvaliteter. Genom inläsning av testkartorhar de olika papperskvaliteternas reproducerbara färgrymder åskådliggjorts. Grundat på resultatetfrån denna testtryckning framställdes ICC-profiler för valda papperskvaliteter. Dessa genereradesmed olika inställningar för akromatisk repro och TIC (Total Ink Coverage). Vid en andra testtryckninganvändes dessa ICC-profiler för konvertering av mellanton-, natt- och snöbilder, vilka trycktespå olika papperskvaliteter.Resultatet från den första testtryckningen visar att HP Indigo Press 1000 återger störst förgrymd påpapperskvaliteten Silverblade Silk, tätt följd av Silverblade Art. De minsta färgrymderna reproduceraspå Lessebo Linné Gultonat och Lessebo Linné Naturvit.Vid perceptuell bedömning av de olika bilderna blev resultatet att bäst tryckresultat uppnås medpappersspecifika ICC-profiler. Detta gäller dock endast i två av tre fall. Vid bedömning av bäst lämpadTIC ansågs den idag på Digaloo använda nivån som mycket dålig. Genom att antingen sänka eller höjadenna nivå bedömdes tryckresultatet öka i kvalitet.Slutligen visar studien även att akromatik i form av UCR ger bäst bildåtergivning i mellanton- ochnattbilder på de valda papperskvaliteterna. De olika graderna av GCR i snöbilder anses dock passaolika bra beroende på vilken papperskvalitet som används.

Search for a standard-model-like Higgs boson with a mass in the range 145 to 1000 GeV at the LHC

A search for a standard-model-like Higgs boson in the H→WW and H→ZZ decay channels is reported, for Higgs boson masses in the range 1451000 GeV. The search is based upon proton-proton collision data samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of up to 5.1 fb-1 at √s = 7 TeV and up to 5.3 fb-1 at √s = 8 TeV, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The combined upper limits at 95 % confidence level on products of the cross section and branching fractions exclude a standard-model-like Higgs boson in the range 145
