The consuming of the natural resources in the agricultural sector does not represent only one external factor of the productive process, but also it implies in a bigger cost for the production, justified for this environmental degradation. In view of the necessity of evaluating the sustainment of the agricultural businesses, the use of performance indicators if makes of extreme importance. The measurement of the support through environmentalindicators is one of the most accepted forms of performing the evaluation of one given agricultural activity. In this context, the Base System for Eco-certification of Agricultural Businesses (Eco-cert Rural) developed by the Embrapa Environment at Jaguariúna/SP, has for purpose to present a method of evaluation of the agricultural businesses, not only of the point of view of the ecological performance, as well as considering the social, economic and organizational aspects. Through the analysis of the performance of the activity and the regularization of the disconformities found, it makes possible the eco-certification of the activities in the varied existing protocols, offering technologies designed to the sustainable development of the agricultural businesses. Using Eco-cert.Rural, this work evaluated the contribution of the use of mechanized harvest in sugar cane handling, front to the traditional system of manual harvest, using the fire. In the Sugar Cane Activity General Performance Index, Agrícola Rio Claro scored 2,08 of a maximum of 15. Amongst all the indicators, those wich reached performance worse had been related to the Use of Energy and the Income, by increasing fossil fuel consumptiom, and implying income concentration due to resignations of rural workers. Blood is one of the most important and powerful elements in magical and religious symbology. As it is an essential substance for animal survival, it does not sound strange that through the ages blood has been given many significant symbolic values (both positive and negative). It can provide life, protection and prosperity in the same proportion that it can cause calamities, destruction and even death. In Opus agriculturae, a farming treatise written by Palladius (V AD), more specifically in Book I, Chapter 35, the author presents prescriptions to protect farms against scourges and climatic phenomena. He mentions some procedures in which blood is a fundamental component in the success of the prescriptions. The aim of the present article is to identify any magic power associated with these practices, their specific symbolic value, especially when related to menstrual blood and to other feminine elements with some magical or religious value. An evaluation is also made of the extent of these symbologies in the context of other practices and situations linked not only to agricultural magic, but to religion and to the ritual practices of other communities, whether in ancient times or not.

When we think of a transposition from a traditional culture industry to the new coherence of the creative industries, a number of new parallel discussions arises, encircled by the reconfiguration of the value chain of such industries and, not only, but also due to a change on creation coherence of a product whose most valuable input is creativity. Therefore, as a mechanism through which such creativity is valued, the intellectual property becomes one of the key elements of this debate, mainly in a world where the coherence of distribution transcends the physical copies towards the digitization of content. From this initial debate, the present article seeks to weave the main relations between the theme of creative industries and the intellectual property, describing the adversities of a deficient regulation and its consequences on the creative industries production, indicating the existing alternatives and questioning the balance between two forces: the collective and the individual rights.
