Lady Confort Ltda., es una empresa confeccionista colombiana, que en los últimos años ha disminuido sustancialmente sus ventas, a causa del aumento excesivo de empresas competidoras en el sector y a las nefastas consecuencias de la crisis diplomática de Colombia con países vecinos, especialmente con Venezuela. A comienzos del año 2010, se encamina en la implementación de una serie de estrategias para contrarrestar la caída de sus ventas por medio del fortalecimiento de marca, el desarrollo de nuevos canales de distribución y la penetración en nuevos mercados. El presente trabajo “Plan Estratégico de Mercadeo” constituye la propuesta presentada a la organización y posteriormente llevada a cabo por esta, para el cumplimiento de los objetivos trazados para el año 2010.

Se comparte una experiencia interdisciplinar a desarrollar con alumnado de Formaci??n B??sica de Adultos, aunque tambi??n puede llevarse a cabo con 4.?? de la ESO. Se parte de las esculturas del "Guerrero Goslar" de Henri Moore y "Lady Tenerife", de Mart??n Chirino, que forman parte del entorno y del paisaje urbano de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Se crea una historia en torno a ellas que sea motivadora para el alumnado y se establece una relaci??n con otra "historia de amor que tuvo lugar en la Antig??edad Cl??sica entre el "Doriforo" de Policleto y la "Afrodita de Gnido" de Praxiteles.

A Lady of York: migration, ethnicity and identity in Roman Britain

Modern methods of analysis applied to cemeteries have often been used in our pages to suggest generalities about mobility and diet. But these same techniques applied to a single individual, together with the grave goods and burial rite, can open a special kind of personal window on the past. Here, the authors of a multidisciplinary project use a combination of scientific techniques to illuminate Roman York, and later Roman history in general, with their image of a glamorous mixed-race woman, in touch with Africa, Christianity, Rome and Yorkshire.

The Identity of the St Bees Lady, Cumbria: An Osteobiographical Approach

Using an Osteobiographical approach, this contribution considers the identity of the woman found alongside the St Bees Man, one of the best-preserved archaeological bodies ever discovered. Osteological, isotopic and radiocarbon analyses, combined with the archaeological context of the burial and documented social history, provide the basis for the identification of a late 14th-century heiress whose activities were at the heart of medieval northern English geopolitics.

Breaking the Conventions : Shakespeare, the Fair Young Man and the Dark Lady

The aim of this essay is to show how Shakespeare’s sonnets violated and reversed the conventional ideas in terms of beauty and idealisation. Furthermore, I will examine the way Shakespeare presented his beloved woman as an absolute opposite of the one created by Petrarch, and how he shifted all the divine metaphors from a woman to a fair young man, creating a new object of praise and admiration.

Lady Gaga, allt handlar om strategi? : En studie kring vem eller vilka personer och vilka faktorer som skapade superstjärnan Lady Gaga

De frågeställningar som jag har utgått från är vem eller vilka personer, och vilka andra faktorer skapade superstjärnan Lady Gaga? Har Lady Gaga blivit framgångsrik på egen hand eller huvudsakligen som ett resultat av andra personer och deras inverkan? Syftet är att analysera bakgrunden till Lady Gagas enorma succé och utforska möjliga orsaker och förklaringar till den, för att sedan kunna använda och föra vidare kunskapen om dessa framgångsstrategier i musikbranschen. Jag har använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer med fallstudien som metod. Intervjuerna är gjorda i New York, USA och omfattar inflytelserika personer från musik-, konst- och modevärlden, med inriktning på vilka faktorer och personer som varit viktiga och avgörande för Lady Gagas karriär. Analysen är baserad på en teori om Lady Gagas strategier kallad 4E efter ledorden emotions (känslor), erfarenhet, engagemang och exklusivitet. Intervjuerna och fallstudien bekräftar 4E-teorin på alla fyra punkter. Analysen visar att två ytterligare viktiga faktorer är vikten av stödjande grupper runt en ny okänd artist och New Yorks mångfald av artister, musiker och konstnärer.
