A busca de linguagens contemporâneas em artes: reflexões na universidade a partir de Centro de Pesquisa Plástica

This work is about the extension project “Plastic Research Centre”, developed at Unesp (Bauru/São Paulo/Brasil) by the author along with the students of Artistic Education (Plastic Arts). Aiming to encourage the students on supports and alternative techniques, the Audiovisual and Visual Arts Study Group - GRAVA was created as a place for reflexion and creation. The group has been seeking a personal language, improving it as the means to communicate its interpretation of the world are investigated, being it in the urban space or in cultural and virtual centres. By extending the university knowledge to the local community, it is intended to motivate the student’s research along with the professoriate and promote the creation process and artistic works focusing the group’s view on the context it is inserted.

Diferentes percepciones de un mismo ambiente: la cuestión del género en la enseñanza de la ciência

This paper relates some considerations resulting from a thesis study in Biological Sciences held at Universidade Estadual Paulista - Unesp, Bauru Campus. Considering the perceptual act endowed with simultaneous actions of the cognitive apparatus and the individual's life history as the merleau-pontyana phenmomenon tells us, the work aimed to identify how boys and girls in elementary school realize a natural savanna. The study was realized with the extension project "Walking and learning at the cerrado” in the Center for Memory and Dissemination of Science and Technology (CDMCT) of Postgraduate Education for Science in the same institution. Classes were held in these practical activities, monitored by undergraduate and graduate students, and, the project focuses on students from public and private schools in Bauru and region, and other visiting groups. Data collection was performed using the representations in the form of free drawings of students of their environment after the activity. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, the results allowed us to highlight differences in the way in which genders perceived and thus represented the fragment of cerrado vegetation. The male drawings contained a larger amount of non-living elements, whereas the representations by women, besides their botanical details, often drew on animals and people. The framework of the drawings by the boys took the nearest way, whereas by the girls more often considered the representations and the entire context of the site visited. So, we emphasize the need for further discussions within the perception of the environment to consider differences in the representations of boys and girls within the context of the teaching of natural sciences, seeking, however, to avoid unsubstantiated preconceptions that may cause any degree of discrimination.

Rádio e TV Escola: um projeto de capacitação para leitura e produção midiática na comunidade escolar

The extension project "Rádio e TV Escola: capacitação para o uso de canais de comunicação na comunidade escolar" was created in 2006 to enable the introduction of radio and TV stations into two public schools. Supported by Social Communication’s courses of Universidade Sagrado Coração, the project’s goals were: a) collaborate with teachers in developing student’s literacy in writing and interpreting media texts; b) promote a greater awareness among graduate students of the social responsibility of media.

Programa multidisciplinar para promoção da saúde envolvendo atividade física supervisionada: ações do PAFIPNES na atenção à saúde de mulheres em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde de São José do Rio Pardo-SP

The Physical Activity Program for Persons with Special Needs (PAFIPNES) is a extension project developed since 2002, and operates in secondary care to the health of obese, diabetic and hypertensive women. This offer exercise programs supervised by physical education professionals, together with a multidisciplinary health team that works in a Health Basic Unit of São José do Rio Pardo/SP. Their actions included interventions to improve general health status and stimulate the adoption of a more active lifestyle. In addition, the PAFIPNES serves as an internship site for scholars of Physical Education can acquire knowledge and skills that enable them to act on basic health care of patients with Non Communicable Diseases, as mentioned above.

Produção de propagandas sociais radiofônicas e educação tutorial: uma proposta para a formação do profissional de comunicação

Produce radio advertisements to convey social UNESP FM Radio. This is the purpose of “Agência PropagAção”, extension project of the Faculty of Arts, Architecture and Communication Unesp, Bauru, SP, composed of 15 students of Communication and Design, coordinated by the teacher responsible. This extension project, however, over the four years of operation, has evolved from a manufacturing space of advertisements for a creative environment where teaching and learning are associated with teaching, research and extension. In this group, converge knowledge from different areas of social communication, resulting in scientific research initiation, completion of course work and professional practice with the provision of community services. Organized as an advertising agency, teachers and students experience education tutorial, extracurricular, adding, as a collective, integrated and interdisciplinary knowledge for the training of professionals with technical expertise, scientific, technological and academic.

A inclusão da natação na vida da pessoa com deficiência: uma análise a partir da teoria ecológica do desenvolvimento

The objective of thisstudy was to verify, using the Ecological Development Theory (EDT), as the practice and swimming learning for People With Disabilities (PWD) causes changes to both the practitioner and in other environments experienced by it as well as the other environments influence the learning to swim. The study included 16 PWD, students linked university extension project, Department of Physical Education of UNESP Bauru, taught by coordinators LAPEF, which aims to includes wimming in the PWD ofevery day life, students linked to an institution of Bauru-SP, three employees of the institution and two swimming project teachers.Interviews with the families of the students were made, with the institution s employees, with the project teachers and analyze thes wimming lessons applied in the project for one semester. Based on the results we can say that the practice and learnings wimming for PWD causes changes to both the practitioner and for other environments experienced by her (home, institution) and also, what other environments experienced by PWD influence in practice and process of learning to swim. Using the terminology of EDT, we conclude that theme so system (home activities institution) influences in the microsystem (swimming lessons) and the microsystem influences the mesosystem, so the activity was significant and temporal persistence influencing the development of PCD.

Dimensões formativas da prática da escrita na formação inicial

This research focuses on the practice of writing in the initial formation of teachers. My interest for this thematic arose from my participation in the extension project Formation Group: Dialog and Otherness and the extension course School: local for teacher formation, both coordinated by my supervisor. After all, I had the possibility of experimenting the exercise of writing and acknowledging the relevance of it in these contexts, in my condition of teacher-in-training. This thematic has involved me, which is why I conducted an autobiographical investigation. As data gathering tools, I used papers that I produced, as participant of the aforementioned extension project and extension course. Those papers were file records I made from the meetings, monthly papers produced from a thematic that was chosen by the graduating students that attended the extension project and, furthermore, I bring a self-assessments I developed inspired by the experiences I had in these two formative gaps. All these experiences provided pieces of my formative experience as a future teacher. The research aimed to understand which act of writing mobilized knowledge and triggered reflections in the aforementioned contexts, based on paper analysis, seeking to legitimate the importance of this practice in my formative process. Furthermore, a bibliographical research of qualitative nature was developed, achieved from the statement and analysis of articles located in the Annals of International Congress of (Auto) Biography Research (CIPA, in Portuguese acronym), from 2006 to 2012, and in the Annals of National Conference of Didactic and Teaching Techniques (ENDIPE, in Portuguese acronym), in the period from 2006 to 2012. Quand les greniers se remplissent: Les bénéfices du partenariat entre la recherche agronomique, la vulgarisation agricole et des organisations paysannes au Mali

This publication is a collation and summary of the major achievements of the Agricultural Research Station of Cinzana (SRAC) and the Capacity Building for Sustainable Agriculture Project (PRECAD). Both projects, created in 1983 and 2006, respectively, have been developed through close collaboration between the Rural Economy Institute (IER) responsible for agricultural research in Mali and the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture (SFSA), formerly the Ciba-Geigy Foundation. The publication covers the period from 1979 to 2009 and includes, where available, some key information for the year 2010. It is aimed at a wide audience and provides an overview of the work carried out in Mali by an agricultural research station and an extension project. It highlights the obstacles and opportunities encountered by the SRAC and PRECAD, as well as the successes and difficulties arising from their work.
